major episode two Cloudward, Ho! spoilers but Beardsley pointing out that Brennan being a parent would start to influence his descriptions followed by the incredible mech recognizing Olethra’s fear and comforting her by patting the outside of it’s belly warmly was so poetic to me

coming back to this to point out that one of the main character’s LITERALLY HAS THE LAST NAME MACLEOD like that’s not a coincidence babes

okay sorry new pet peeve unlocked but the name of the series is CLOUDWARD, HO! NOT “skyward” or “cloud” or any other synonymous term!! it’s cloudward!!

I’m not usually nitpicky about titles but it seems like the terminology is very specific and important to the plot/vibe of the season so I just had to get it off my chest

and no one deadnames her upon meeting her for the first time as an adult, either! Marya even refers to her as McLeod’s kitten, which is gender neutral terminology

I was a bit confused why in the start of the episode they weren't using Olethra's name and just calling her baby Mcleod but then with her being transfem it was so cool, we don't know her deadname and we don't get to!!! Its not important, not now and not in the flashback !!!
