On March 24th, millions of supporters around the country joined the March for Our Lives movement to demand an end to gun violence, including members of Snoop Dogg’s Football League. The group of teens was lead by Snoop Dogg’s son and founder of Revolt of the Youth Cordell Broadus. With Support from Oath For Good RYOT Studio and Tumblr came along the ride to document this historic day.

Up until 2016, Cordell was a wide receiver for UCLA’s football team, but decided to turn down a lucrative future in the game because it wasn’t his true passion in life. He has openly admitted that he only played football for his father, renowned rapper and entertainer Snoop Dogg.
Today, he’s studying for a film degree at UCLA, directing music videos through his own production company, and holds the position of creative director at ’90s-inspired athleisure brand Joyrich. Cordell is also the founder of “Revolt of the Youth” – a youth group initiative to support underprivileged communities in the Greater Los Angeles area.
In addition to giving free pizza and essential supplies out to the homeless, Revolt of the Youth partners with the non-profit group, “Hav A Sole” to give away shoes. Cordell said, “This is a dream I’ve had since I was 15 years old. It means the world to me. I have a passion for helping others and this is just the beginning.” Cordell recently travelled on an inspiring college tour called “Know your Status” to talk to today’s youth about the importance of practicing safe sex and encourage them to make good decisions in their lives

“It was a whole process. It took a couple of weeks. I had the idea, and I was kind of scared to share it honestly. I didn't know how a lot of people would feel. And then I was just like, you know what? This is what I want to do, so I'm gonna do it. And the more I started being vocal about what it was that I wanted to do, as far as bringing the Snoop Youth Football League kids and taking them to the march and letting them see it firsthand, it started with me informing Kenneth Cole and letting him know that I had this plan.” - Cordell Broadus
