NTV Chairman Tummala Narendra Chowdhary's TV initiative repositions India's National Anthem among Youngsters

India celebrated its 75th Independence Day in August last year and around the same time, social media sites, including Whatsapp, presented a mesmerizing sight of a 13-year-old Iranian girl, Tara Ghahremani playing "Jana Gana Mana" on santoor.

The beautiful rendition of India's national anthem was also shared on Twitter by the Indian Embassy in Iran while the move filled every Indian's heart with pride and patriotism. In addition to that, Tara's video once again brought into focus the national anthem, which is adopted from the Bengali song "Bharoto Bhagyo Bidhata", originally composed by Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore

He is the Founder-Chairman of NTV, a Telugu news channel, which has been telecasting a special tagline on the national anthem - "Mana Desam - Mana Geetham" (My Nation, My Song) frequently. Last year, Narendra Chowdary has promoted awareness about the national anthem through the "Mana Desam - Mana Geetham" campaign on NTV.

Who will join TANA Life Time Achievement Award league after NTV Narendra Chowdary?

Tummala Narendra Chowdary, the Chairman and Managing Director of NTV, is one of the eminent personalities, who has cemented a strong place for himself with his impeccable talent as a popular and successful entrepreneur. Narendra Chowdary Tummala hailed from a family of farmers in Khammam. Veteran actor Gummadi Gopalakrishna was selected for NTR cultural award, Dr. Ganga Chowdhury was selected for the Guthikonda Ravindranath Service award, Dr. Garipati Umamaheshwara Rao for the Gidugu Rammurthi award.

Tummala Narendra Chowdary reached many remarkable milestones in his life journey and also added many feathers in his already decorated cap. For his noble gestures and exceptional contributions, The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) has felicitated him with Life Time Achievement Award in the year 2019. The award was presented by Komati Jayaram and Then TANA president Satish Vemana.
