Rexsoka Week 2020 - Themes and Dates

It’s that time of year again! You might notice this is a new blog, and you’re right! This will be the Rexsoka Week HQ from now on. We are the same admins, we just have a new home here and it’s definitely not because we forgot the password to the last rexsoka week blog

Down below are the dates and themes. This year we’ve decided to add a few suggestion prompts along with the theme. They are to help expand on the prompt and may spark inspiration, but do not need to be used or incorporated. 

We will be reblogging all posts tagged #rexsokaweek and #rexsoka week to this blog. Anyone and everyone is invited to create fics, art work, meta, anything at all. 

September 28 - October 4, 2020

Monday - Hope - Sept. 28

One more WIP. I’m borrowing my friend’s Surface Pro for a month to try my hand at digital drawing/coloring. So I’m planning on sketching them first and then coloring them with photoshop. Wish me luck!

Whats a Commander without a Captain?

The Dynamic Duo over the years. I could have added a fourth shot and set it in between the second and third and literally just grabbed a screencap from Shattered…maybe I’ll do another version of this later with that and a fancier backdrop.

Old Rex (or, as I like to call him, 100% Grade A Beef Rex) was a challenge since there is no full length action pose of him anywhere that I could find. So I married two photos together and then did some blending. 

I also fixed the shading around his…erm…man parts, because I hate that dumb flat crotch line that they do on Rebels. Seriously, what the hell is that? They don’t do it on the girls! Nobody’s pants are shaped like that. It’s stupid. So, anyway…Rex is packin’ again.
