Reynaldo Sinclair was born on July 20, 1997, in Singapore, into a well-off family. The Huang family has owned a textile business since 1944. Despite the family's busy business, Rey's parents always gave him their full attention, meeting all his needs and loving him wholeheartedly. Rey is the only child of the second child in the Huang family, making him the center of attention and pride in his family.

From a young age, Rey was known as a friendly child but a bit awkward when meeting new people. He felt more comfortable when others initiated conversations and showed interest in getting to know him. Rey's tendency to overthink often made him worry excessively about many things, a trait often associated with his zodiac sign, Cancer.
