Media and Government: A Love and Hate Relationship
We all know that the government and media have a strong foundation of relationships when it comes to serving the public. The government provides service to people that will lead our nation to succeed and the media will provide the news and details about the matter that was discussed. The media will also inform the public about any political conflicts that have occurred during a conference and will also encourage the government to take action to solve the conflict issues. The Philippines is a democratic country in which everyone has freedom of speech and says whatever they want through the use of social media and has the freedom to unite together to make a rightful action.
The cartoon drawing that is seen above is an example of a misconception. Due to the fact that the government and media have a love and hate relationship because of its bias system. When a particular politician said something or has done something. A media that hates the person will take advantage of spreading out the news that is misleading and are somehow a misconception. Without any proper details and information about the news, it could potentially bring harm to an individual. That is why media should be more honest and concise about the information they gave to us and the government should not hide anything from us for this is what would make our country a progressive one.
