With Tango I wanted to play with half body/split coloring and make him look scorched, including his horn which will just smoke while he's not using magic. I'd like to think he's absolutely fine and all that's changed is that he can only conjure fire magic but he doesn't care that much. His tail and mane can burst into flame whenever

BigB is a big guy with a thousand yard stare and prey animal behavior with his ears constantly tucked back. I really like the idea of him having a huge tail dragging behind him, adds to the unnerve a tiny bit. When people look away he turns into a hyperrealistic creaking horse

Why did I make Jimmy all yellow. His color is blue!!! Blue!!!! Even if I usually highlight him with yellow because it just looks nicer but!! Blue..!! Seeing Lizzie build a blue parrot for him inspired me to finally redesign him, his coloration is based on the blue quaker parrot! The canary theme can still work with this, I'd like to imagine his flight feathers started going yellow and he wasn't just born with canary feathers. Also tried to get across that he's a lanky ass pony but makes himself look smaller

Joel I think works so much better when he's relatively monotone and the green highlights are implemented sparingly (you know, as highlights). I think it makes him look more special even with normal horse colors than if he was mostly green, kinda loses that bit of the design that really identifies Joel AS Joel. Yeah my first Joel design was garbo. Also he's very angry that god made him an earth pony and tiny. sorry little guy

i feel like the creativity i had while in the dream smp fandom is unrivaled. i just privated most my speedpaints on tiktok and aside from the frequency i was able to get art (multiple pieces a day, let alone a week compared to maybe one every month or two)

but i was animating things, turning art into simple gifs. the poses were better, things looked more fluid and full of life.

and i know i've gotten better with my coloring and framing and making characters interact but, god damn

I can vouch for Phantom Hourglass. It has a very fun story and it's connected to Wind Waker only enough for those who know the events of Wind Waker to get fun little details or easter eggs. It has a great stand alone story and really fun characters.

It's only limited by being a DS game so it's availability is limited so finding a *good* playthrough may be tricky, but they do exist!

Minish Cap had a little resurgence earlier this year and its a pretty accessible game for you to try yourself. It was available via the 3ds ports (now only available through hacked systems) but they've ported it to the switch through their online program.

But, because it's a 2d game, its a very easy game to emulate compared to games like Ocarina or any other 3d game, and its a pretty common emulated game so you'd have luck with that. Again its super fun with a great story and art style and it's one of the more whimsical games.

I want to get into legend of Zelda so bad but I'm not sure where to start😭😭 I bought the first part of the Ocarina of time manga since there's two but other than that I'm so lost,,, do you have any tips :')? should I watch some gameplay or 😭

ok, sooo Ocarina is a good start ! Thats like, the most known besides BOTW I think. HOWEVER !! The mangas are typically different and/or have different endings, but they’re still fun to read, tho I don’t think I have read the Ocarina one. (The Four Swords and Minish Cap mangas are good !!) (all of them are available online, but quality varies)

I do recommend watching gameplay too—whether with commentary or not, up to you. Each Zelda game is pretty different from one another, so if you don’t vibe with one, you can try another ! If you want something cute, something dark, funny, etc, there’s one for each tbh

My favourite Zelda game is Twilight Princess, it was my introduction to the series as a little kid, but I like most of the games.

So…. I’d start with Ocarina, to get the true vibes of the series, and if you enjoy that, you can watch/read the sequel: Majoras Mask. if you like the strange gothic themes like that, then you might also like Twilight Princess, which is next in the timeline/connected..

Other games I recommend—whether reading or watching preferably both—Wind Waker (sequel: Phantom Hourglass, but I haven’t played), Breath of the Wild, its sequel Tears of the Kingdom, Skyward Sword, Minish Cap, and Echoes of Wisdom !!
