[ idk man and the fact that shes ??? basically everyone’s scapegoat ??? like Everything was caused by celine having her affair somehow but youre gonna ignore what lead to it? you’re gonna make her seem like the only bad guy in this ??

[ y’know the fact that none of celine’s family / friends noticed she was depressed and teetering on the edge of being emotionally abused/neglected is also pretty uncool  like where was damien ???? your sister hasn’t left the manor in weeks after the death of her child and you know for a fact her husband has been acting irratic and you ain’t concerned ??

“ marcus, “ she tries one more time, exhasperated, exhausted, about an inch away from chiding him like a child. though she gave way with marcus’ lapse of judgement, she’s using the opportunity to her advantage, examining both the blood on her hands and the cloth between them- it’s hard to tell how much is still pouring out of him, but it seems to be less, somehow. 

she doesn’t know how to help him at this point- not medically, at least. it crosses her mind to try and cauterize the wound, but how much would good would that do compared to evil? 

at least, that’s where her mind was a moment ago; thinking of ways to keep him alive. but his words only bloom fresh anger in her veins. is he playing stupid? is he pretending he has no idea what is going on, what he’s done? disgust contorts her features, and she stands, pacing the room to avoid something dangerous. 

“ YOU TOOK HIM. “ she barks- fresh pain fills her blood, some deep and gutteral grief she hadn’t bothered to feel so far. damien was gone. damine was gone. he might have chosen to go, might have went under his own steam, but he wouldn’t have had to make the choice if it wasn’t for him. “ any chance of parley died the moment you dragged him to your cause. “
