My First Trip to Bohol
A year before the pandemic, me and my family had our new adventure. Our journey started early in the morning for our flight at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2. My sister and I were very excited since this is our first time to ride an airplane and also our first time to go to our destination.
At the airport, we went to the check-in counter for our big luggage and to give our plane tickets. Once everything is okay, we waited inside the airport until it’s time for our departure.

From the waiting area inside the airport, we ride a bus going to the airplane for about 5 minutes. It was my first time to see what’s inside the airport. There were lots of huge airplanes.

Safety first.
Our flight from Manila to Bohol took almost 2 hours. But I was so happy to see the view from the airplane. I can see the clouds and the tiny houses below. We arrived at the Panglao International Airport in Bohol. Outside the airport we we’re looking for the Bohol Beach Club’s signage, their staff was there to pick us up going to the hotel.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel, my sister and I wear our swimwear. The beach was so beautiful. The sand is so fine and so white.
At the Bohol Beach Club
It was already low tide at the beach, so I was able to walk on the shore.
Since it is low tide we can’t swim in the beach yet, so we swam on the pool. We swam until dinner time. It was so much fun.
We ate dinner at the club’s restaurant facing the beach. There was a band serenading us while we were eating.
This day was full of memories and surprises. I thank God for the gift of family. I hope this pandemic will soon end so we can all go somewhere with our family and start a new adventure.

A Model For A Day
In a few months it will be our graduation. My grandmother made my dress and I like it very much. We will have an online graduation because of the pandemic. I need pictures wearing my gala dress, so my mom decided to have my picture taken in a photo studio. Mom told me it will just be for 30 minutes so I need to give my best smile. I need to be like a model for a day.
My mom prepared 2 dresses and accessories that I will need for the photoshoot. She asked Tito Philip to do my hair and make-up since he is a make-up artist.
Tito Phillip came to our house with this red luggage containing all his make-up, hair blower, hair iron and other things he’s using in his job as a make-up artist. He also have this big black bag with a round big light inside.
He first did my make-up and then my hair. After 1 hour we are done. Then we went to the photo studio, I changed to my first dress. I wore my old navy-blue dress that I used last year in the Masquerade Ball in our school. Tito also came with us so he could retouch my make-up and also help me in posing.
Luckily, the photographer was my Tito’s friend. They told me to smile and pose. I don't know how to pose so they just taught me some poses. Where to put my hand, where to look or to smile a little.
At first, it was hard to pose, but after a few poses I just got the hang of it. You just need to listen to the photographer so he could get the best shots.
The second dress I wore was my mustard yellow dress with a pair of earrings and a ring. It was the dress for my online graduation. It was quite hard to smile all the time but I tried and did my best.
Most of the time we were all laughing during the photoshoot. Here are some of my wacky shots caught on camera.

The 30 minutes photoshoot became almost 2 hours. Thank you to my Tito, his photographer friend and to my mom. It was a great experience. Now I know how it feels to be like a model. I enjoyed having my very first photoshoot session. It was fun being like a model for a day.
This is the story of my short modeling career...
Say cheese!
