Self-Furred Diamond Mesh Lath Working Process and Application
Self Furred Metal Lath is made for masonry surfaces with hardened concrete nails and fasteners. Materials used are usually hot dipped galvanized steel sheets.
https://www.metalriblath.com/self_furred_metal_lath.html
Metal lath used over solid surfaces to be furred approximately ? inch away from the wall to allow for the proper stucco keying behind the lath. Self-furred diamond mesh lath has a surface studded in dimples or embossed “V” groove that provide the required ? inch of furring. Fastener placement should be arranged so as not to negate the furring mechanism.
Self-Furred Diamond Mesh Lath is secured to masonry surfaces with hardened concrete nails and power driven fasteners at the furring dimples. Paper backed lath is often used in this type of application as a bond breaker.

Welded Wire Lath as Stucco Material for Building Construction
Welded wire fabrics can be used in making of metal lathing products. Made from quality galvanized carbon steel wire, welded wire mesh fabrics offer good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance.
https://www.metalriblath.com/welded_wire_lath.html
Welded Wire Lath should be used as base for gypsum plaster with absorbent paper-backing or slot-perforated separator. Stucco makes a very good exterior wall finish. It is applied over lath, which can be made of zinc coated, or galvanized metal, galvanized woven wire fabric or galvanized welded wire fabric. These mesh materials allow the stucco to go into the openings and adhere well to become stronger. The wire needs to be galvanized to help protect against rust. Different gauges of wire are available but the most commonly used is eighteen gauge wire.
Mesh opening of welded wire lathing: 3/4", 1/2", 1", 1/4", 3/8".
General wire gauge (BWG): 14# to 23#.

Spray lath V Ribbed for Exterior Stucco Work, Rib Lath Stucco
Spray lath is used primarily on the West coast, where stucco is spray applied to the surface of the lath to build stucco thickness. Rib Lath is often attached directly to the vertical framing members without a solid board substrate included. Spray products are categorized as follows:
https://www.metalriblath.com
Use: For exterior stucco work over sheathing and as a plaster base over masonry walls. Self-furring embossed "V" groove holds the lath away from the surface to aid in the keying of stucco to the lath.
Spray Lath V RibbedSize: 27" × 96" (686mm × 2440mm)
Weights: 3.40lbs/yd2 - (End Painted Red w/ Yellow Stripe) Installation: Spray Lath - V-Ribbed is intended for applications not requiring a water resistant barrier. The plain kraft paper is applied between V grooves to conserve machine applied stucco and allows visual location of studs during installation.

Paper back metal lath, diamond mesh lath, rib lath
Ti lath (Paper Back Metal Lath) is diamond mesh lath, regular or self-furred, to

which offset asphalt saturated kraft building paper has been applied. The grade D paper typically used is water resistant, yet highly vapor permeable. Ti lath reduces moisturePaper Back Metal Lath penetration while allowing for the dissipation of moisture vapor from within the structure. A foundation weep screed at the bottom of all framed walls aids in the evacuation of any moisture that might reach the surface of the building paper. (Required by most codes) The offset paper, which is recessed from one end and one side and overhangs on the opposite end and side, allows the applicator to easily install this product correctly as prescribed by ASTM C1063. This specification requires that paper be ship lapped, paper-to-paper and metal-to-metal for proper installation. Ti lath is ideal for use as a base for tile and traditional stucco. The paper backing aids in plaster keying and stucco curing, protection of the sheathing during curing, and provides moderate water resistance. Self-furred Ti lath is provided with "V" groove self-furring mechanisms.

reinforcement reduces the detrimental effects of vibration and changes of temperature. The application gives brickwork increased resistance to tensional stresses. The brickwork reinforcement (coil mesh) assists resistance to tensile stresses where settlement occurs. Easily incorporated into mortar course, coiled for ease of handing.
Brickwork ReinforcementApplications:
concrete slabbing, roads, paving, foundations, marine work, bank strong rooms, partition slabs, concrete block work, asphalt guttering etc.
Installation:
Fix into mortar between brick courses leaving 25mm clearance from face of brickwork. All joints require an overlap of at least 75mm. The mesh can be laid every third brickwork course for most reinforcement.
