"So Happy Together" I made this photo on a rainy day last week. I wanted to share it to show folks the size difference between our male and female Bald Eagles at Canonsburg Lake. Our female is on the right, our male is on the left. You can see she is much larger than the male. She also has a bigger and longer beak than he does. I was hoping to capture them both with their heads at the same angle, but as Wildlife Photographers, many times all we can do is "hope". "Wet Eagles Copulating" On a rainy Wednesday morning, I found the female Eagle sitting in a tree just watching over the lake. About 5 minutes later she started calling and the male Eagle flew in and hopped on her for a "Quicky" and then landed on the branch next to her. She stayed for a couple minutes. They both had a cigarette then she flew off back to the nest. It's Spring time.
