Hello, Prince of Puzzles, I have a few questions. (that are mostly unrelated with each other, but I figured it would be better to put all of them into one ask, instead of separating them and piling more into your ask box)

One, what do you think of the depiction of you in the TV show 'Gotham'? (I personally hate it with a burning passion, but I doubt you care about my input)

Two, do you enjoy poetry? If so, what works are your personal favorites?

Three, how would you describe the nature of your relationship with Dr. Jonathan Crane?

Four, how would you rank the other rogues in order from best to worst. (No particular rubric, just vibes.)

Five, if you were to ever be reformed/rehabilitated, what occupation would you like to have? (I personally think you would be an AMAZING English teacher or software engineer/developer)

Six, how many of the other rogues have you personally worked with, and which ones would you like to work with again, if needed?

Seven, why do you choose to live in Gotham, rather than a place like Metropolis or Central City? I suppose the threat of Superman or the Flash is more than enough to scare any villain with common sense away, but I always wondered if there was another reason you choose Gotham as your domain.

Eight, (wow this is more questions than I expected to write) who, in your opinion, the best superhero? And who is your favorite superhero?

Nine, which rogue do you think is the most likely to be rehabilitated, and why?

Ten, have you ever been misdiagnosed with something by a doctor? (I have had several experiences with doctors where I live where they gave me a completely wrong diagnosis, and that's with doctors who (probably) won't turn evil and test various unregulated toxins on patients without consent)

Sorry for the long ask. I'm taking a break from the essay I'm writing and I have a lot more on my mind than I thought (sorry for the redundancy). Sorry if these are a little disorganized. (also for any typos and grammatical errors in there, I'm very tired) I hope you have a good one. Or as good as one could be in Gotham, I suppose.

Ah, that is quite the list.. And you say sorry a lot. Well.. I like talking so if you want to read, I’m here to give all the answers, true or not. I’ve stated before that if I’m given long questions, I’m likely going to give longer answers and I believe this is the longest yet.

1. I have barely skimmed through the show, and I’ve only come across mentions on this platform, but I’ll stand by your opinions to hate him. No actor could be like me and from what I’ve seen, he doesn’t come close. He is most clearly awkward and well, I’m not. I’ve learned to adapt to social cues, it’s really not that hard, and I can’t help but get second hand embarrassment anytime that depiction of me very clearly acts out of place and makes a fool of himself. The two love interests, the ladies that die, are also inaccurate. I don’t think people realize exactly how few people I tolerate even being around, let alone falling in love? I have never become interested in anyone at any point in time before becoming Riddler, or even the early years of it. Also, the ages are wrong and Oswald is uncomfortable to look at. It’s very inaccurate and I think they should have strayed from even trying to relate it back to me and any other Rogues. Don’t like it, and from comments and video clips that I have seen, I’ll never bother watching the whole show.

2. I do. I read poetry here and there and I have a few poem books stored on my shelves. I don’t have favorites though.. They can often be a bit too similar for me and I go through the books too fast. I’m sure though, since you want to talk about Jon next, that you would get more talk from him. He likes a good bit of poetry.

3. I don’t know why people care so much about my therapist, who is now going on 6 years of annoying me, but it is not anything big I assure you… I know that people don’t see me out with many “non-rogues” often, but it really doesn’t mean anything. Jonathan is my designated therapist at Arkham, and has been for a long time, but despite him being frustrating and constantly trying to psychoanalyze me, he’s a smart man with similar interests and views and makes for good conversation. That is why we socialize here and there. Now I know that Harley has been saying things, being her nosy-self, but we are simply patient and doctor, with occasional outings and nothing more for the public to think about.

4. Must I remind you that there are, a lot, of rogues? I’ll do a short one though with whoever comes to mind. Number one is Isley, number two is Oz, number three is Waylon, number four is Craddock and skip a few and put both Harv and Harvey, and Jervis, and finally Selena at the bottom.

5. I don’t think there is anything in need of reform.. But I’ll answer anyways. First, I know I’d be good at it, but I don’t like kids so I would never teach any class, though a professor job would surely be more tolerable than primary. Also, I have had jobs before that I would never go back to, such as a few programming and coding office jobs, and my forensic and detective work at the GCPD. It is because of my declining social tolerance, and my need for mental stimulation, that I would only wish to stay working as the Riddler. Being a detective was my way of stimulating the mind, sure, but never would I go back, especially because of the GCPD trying to reform themselves and create more moral restrictions. I used to do whatever I needed or wanted to solve my cases and I’m sure that the new officers wouldn’t be so fond of me simply doing what I please in a government position. But for my current self-employed-career, I am never not thinking. It’s like a puzzle game against a whole city. When everyone wants me dead, and my competitors continue to improve, I’m always pushed to doing better. I’m always planning ahead and the thrill, be it stressful, drives me far enough.

6. I work with a lot. I have to work alongside the other ‘princes’ just to stay ahead of anyone else who might damage our businesses or to stay atop of the government. It’s all business with them and nothing more, but Isley is a prince (prince of plants if you are so uncultured) that I actually enjoy working with. I am closely working with Harv and Harvey, not because I want to, but because Oz insists. Victor is also a drag. But Aside from those people, I have worked with Craddock a few times and always look forward to it again. He is an old fellow with interesting stories and a respectfully classy demeanor. Tallyman has also never failed me and stays consistent. Waylon too is always willing to assist me.. Other than those people I can’t really think of anyone else that I look forward to working with. I hate most of them.

7. I’m not worried about the other heros in other cities, though I’m sure that I’m simply not physically able enough to hold up against them hand on hand — so the ‘no kill rule’ from Batman sure adds to it — but overall, it’s more about the intellectual battle that Batman creates. He is the best I can get to an intellectual equal, (though he’s still far from one) but compared to everyone else, he does it best. I appreciate his moral obligation to never stop, which is what the police lack, and his privileged wealth that gives him the necessities to outlive my games, which James Gordon doesn’t have. It’s never-ending and as I mentioned before, I thrive on the mental challenge and stimulation. On top of that, Gotham is dangerous and is the leading city for crime, so the competition adds to it.

8. I don’t care about superheros. I don’t exactly look into heros residing outside of Gotham, and favorite sounds like a strong word. I prefer Batman as to the rest. For reasons mentioned in the previous answer.

9. Interesting question, but it is most definitely Waylon. Waylon can be destructive and defensive but any Rogue who has actually interacted with him, as I have a lot, understands that he is practically harmless in the right crowd. I’m sure he is the only person who has never hit or punched me. He is already a decent guy on his own when not provoked and ordered around, so I’m sure that if someone moved him to a facility that isn’t Arkham, with actual care, he’d be out and happy in just a few years. Will that happen though? No, most definitely not. Though I prefer it doesn’t anyway.

10. Constantly. You will find that every single previous therapist, aside from good Crane, has listed me as sociopathic. I am not insane, and I know what empathy is like, I simply don’t care. In reality I just lack a few more morals than society would like. There has been a mix of other diagnosis’s that aren’t as consistent, like ODD, IPD, and definitely inaccurately IED (There is nothing wrong with me being constantly upset if it’s because the doctors are all morons) and even a schizophrenic label. Honestly, I’d rather stop having therapy entirely. I think most psychiatrists are just idiots with degrees and unless I’m in a session with Crane, it’s not like they listen anyways. This Arkham shit is really only wasting my time.

Plenty of little gifts I’ve gotten since the 1st, and I’m in quite a pleasant mood. My car is back in order and refurnished, I have new records to play, and I now own a whole list of new signed books to read. No crime for a few days while I relish the rare occasion of being content.

Do you ever find yourself indulging in certain relaxers? Such as but, not limited to, alcohol, cigarettes, cigars and, or other drugs?

I do have prescribed medication. They may not be the right ones, since my doctors like to fuck me over and change my dosages and prescriptions often, but they are necessary for me to function and calm my rampant thinking, so I take them anyway. As for recreational drugs, I’m not at all a fan. I find that taking drugs just to get high is a cowardly way of ignoring your problems and refusing to fix them. That, or it’s done by bored individuals with nothing else in their lives to entertain them. I don’t see any long term positives from that kind of drug use.

I also don’t smoke. I’d like to keep my lungs in shape and my voice preserved, but I do drink alcohol. Not beers usually, but I like myself some wine and champaign. I don’t like getting drunk though. I’d rather not let my drunken impulses control me and accidentally say or do something that I’d regret.

Other than occasional wine and my prescriptions, there’s not much else I could think of that I would be willing to use or digest to calm myself or feel better. Not much else has helped my mood anyway..

Well. I may be in a bit of a ‘pickle’ now.. If you all recall the individual who had, ‘stolen’ some short document on criminal success, out of nothing but disrespect.. (Because let’s be real now, in Gotham that screenshot teaches almost no more than what I’d already provided..) It would seem that perhaps my public commentary about sending an active bomb to their house has the GCPD acting a bit too suspicious of me.

Now I did in fact send that bomb, but it seems my timing was unfortunately aligned with some other idiot getting himself blown up by a different insignificant group. I’m now a false suspect to the wrong crime, and unfortunately, thanks to the ignorance of your friendly police officers, I’m not likely to get out of being accused as the culprit.

Mind you, if any officer lives are lost, it’s not my fault, and they should stop ridding me of my well deserved right to fair trials. I’m simply making this public comment about it before the public press can get away with slandering my name and covering up the impending law violations regarding my possible sentencing. As they’ve always done.

But of course this is only if they find me. There’s still only an estimated 22% chance of that.

I always run, but I can run out. I always tick in conversation, but I never tock. I can strike without hands, and will be recorded until the last heart beat. What am I?

Anyways, I’m also a big fan of yours. I’m often told that I shouldn’t idolize someone like you, but average Gotham civilians don’t understand superiority when they see it. That, or they are uh… weird about it, if you know what I mean!

Whether or not I enjoy the riddles people ask me, depends. Im sure many know I can become quite upset very easily.
