You stirred awake to the sound of water running. When you reached out, Mingi’s side of the bed was empty but still warm. A moment later, he padded out of the bathroom, shirtless and barefoot, toweling off his damp hair. His smile was still sleepy, lopsided in the way you’d grown to love again.
“You left me,” you mumbled, burying your face into the pillow dramatically.
“I was gone for five minutes,” he chuckled, climbing back into bed to kiss the tip of your nose.
You reached up, looping your arms around his neck and tugging him down into a kiss, the kind that was slow and unhurried and tasted faintly of mint toothpaste. You sighed against his lips, not quite ready to let him go just yet.
“You’ve got something here,” you giggled, tapping the corner of your own mouth.
He leaned in immediately, lips puckered expectantly. You rolled your eyes, but kissed the corner of his mouth anyway.
Your newfound routine with Mingi wasn’t glamorous or dramatic. It was slow and steady, much like the pace of his recovery. Some mornings, you stayed tangled in the sheets, talking sleepily about the day ahead. Other mornings, he dragged you up with him, insisting the sun was already “too high” and there was “coffee waiting to be consumed.”
After breakfast, he’d disappear into the closet to get dressed while you lingered behind, finishing your coffee and scrolling through your phone. Sometimes you’d wander in after him, fixing his collar or finding that one belt he could never locate.
And when it came time for him to leave, you always saw him off at the door, even if you were still in pajama shorts and one of his oversized shirts that hung halfway to your knees. You’d fix his tie, smooth your fingers down his lapels, and tilt your head to the side like you were inspecting something important.
“Do I look good?”
“You look like trouble,” you hummed.
You were both grinning like idiots when he slipped his arms around your waist and leaned in, placing a soft kiss to your forehead.
“A forehead kiss? Seriously?”
“What?”
“I rode the shit out of you last night and all I get is a forehead kiss?”
“Wow. Romantic.”
“I'm just saying,” you shrugged, “feels a little ungrateful.”
He was already leaning back in, one hand finding your jaw as he kissed you properly this time. By the time he pulled away, you were flushed and breathless and he looked far too pleased with himself.
“Better?”
“Barely,” you huffed, giving him a playful shove toward the door.
He gave you one last glance, before landing a playful smack on your behind and disappearing down the hallway. The door shut behind him, but your smile lingered like the taste of coffee and his kiss on your lips.
The pent house was quiet now. Too quiet without Mingi shouting questions about where his phone had gone or dishes clinking in the sink. It should have been comforting but now it was much too overwhelming. You checked your phone and it was almost time for your therapy session with Jungah.
You opened the app and logged in a few minutes early, heart skipping every time the screen refreshed. You tried to make a mental list of what you needed to say, but the thoughts were a giant, tangled mess until all that remained was the dread that things with Mingi were going too well.
Ever since he woke up, everything about your relationship had felt surreal. He kissed you like he meant it. He made you laugh. There were no arguments, no backhanded remarks, and he even slept in your room now.
And that should’ve made you feel safe. You love him. God, you do. But instead, you found yourself looking for signs of the old him in everything he did.
“You know, he could just be putting on a front,” the voice in your head suggested.
You swallowed hard, adjusting and readjusting your screen brightness. “He’s trying,” you muttered.
“Wait until he gets comfortable again. Watch him run,” it snickered.
You pressed your thumb into your palm, digging in until the pressure bordered on pain. You inhaled slowly, then exhaled through your nose, counting each breath.
“People like Mingi always snap. Remember how he used to talk to you? How he made you feel small just because he could?”
“Stop!” you snarled, blinking hard as the screen flickered and connected. Jungah’s face appeared a second later.
“Hey, you. How are you feeling today?”
You hesitated. Then exhaled.
“Fine. Good, actually.” You paused.
“I think.”
Jungah furrowed her brows gently. “Tell me more about that.”
“Things have been going really well. With Mingi. He’s…different now. It’s like everything I didn’t think I’d ever have in this marriage is suddenly just…here.”
She nodded, encouraging but quiet.
“And that’s the part that’s messing with me,” you admitted.
“It doesn’t feel real. I keep thinking it’s too good to last,” you admitted. “Like he’s going to get tired of pretending.”
The emotional whiplash left you reeling. You kept trying to hold onto the good moments from the last few months and weeks, but doubt always crept in afterward, whispering that none of it was real. You wanted so badly to believe in the marriage, but it was hard to feel steady while waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Jungah watched you closely. “Why do you feel like you’re not enough for someone who clearly loves you?”
You blinked, fiddling with the hem of your shorts. You didn’t have a clear answer, only a flood of reasons you couldn’t voice without spiraling.
“I… I don’t know. I know I should believe him,” you said shakily.
“He tells me he loves me all the time. And I believe him. But that voice in my head just keeps asking when he’s going to change his mind.”
“What do you think would happen if you let yourself believe it was real?”
“Honestly, I think I’d get hurt,” you said quietly.
“I’m so used to being left alone, with every important thing in my life being taken away from me…” You trailed off, swallowing thickly as your vision blurred. You blinked rapidly, willing them away, but your chest had already started to ache.
The people you loved never stayed. The things you reached for, love, safety, and the freedom you wanted so desperately were always just out of reach.
“They always go,” you whispered. “It’s like the more I love something, the faster it slips through my fingers.”
Jungah didn’t say anything right away. She gave you the silence to lean into the ache in your heart, to feel the heaviness you so often pushed down in order to function. You hated crying in front of people, even her, but there was no holding it back now.
“So you’re always prepared for the worst.”
You nodded wordlessly, letting the tears slip down your cheeks.
“It’ll hurt less when it happens.”
Jungah tilted her head, jotting a couple of things down into her notebook. “But does it actually hurt any less?”
“No,” you sniffled. “I just don’t let anyone see it.”
You stared down at your hands, particularly the wedding band that weighed heavily on your finger.
“I don’t think I’ve ever really…mourned anything properly,” you said after a long pause.
“Not Hongjoong. Not Maro. Not even the version of my life I thought I’d have before everything went to shit. I just go through the motions.”
Jungah paused, her pen resting quietly against the edge of her notebook. “Y/N. You’re someone who’s been carrying more than one heart should ever have to.”
You looked away, blinking back the fresh sting behind your eyes.
Jungah let the silence stretch just long enough before asking, “Can I ask you something?”
You nodded.
“What have you done, just for yourself?”
You wracked your brain for something, anything, but came up empty. Seconds dragged by as you sifted through the past few years, only to land on a horrifying truth: there was nothing. No trip. No day off. Not even a fleeting instant where feeling good didn’t come with fear.
“I…” You hesitated, voice nearly lost. “I got Maro. But…”
“Maro is important. But I’m not talking about surviving,” Jungah said softly.
“I’m talking about choosing yourself. When was the last time you allowed yourself joy without having to earn it first?”
You couldn’t answer. Because you didn’t know. Because it felt like the universe was cruel, giving you things that mattered so deeply, like Hongjoong and Maro, only to rip them away without warning.
But then, somehow, it had brought Mingi back like a second chance.
“I don’t think I ever have,” you admitted, voice barely above a whisper.
You’d convince yourself that surviving was enough. That love, when it came, would be the reward. That if you held on tightly enough to someone or something, maybe you'd finally stop falling apart.
“Then for today’s homework, let’s think of a couple of things you can do to take care of yourself. Can you do that?”
You nodded slowly. “Okay. I can do that.”
“I know you can.” Jungah glanced at the time. “We’ll stop here for today, but next time, I want to hear about those things you listed off.”
You gave a small, tentative smile, waving goodbye to Jungah as you logged off. But you were now left face to face with your own reflection and the voice you attempted to smother in the back of your head.
Tumblr media
Ahri had never liked you.
Not because you were cruel. Or loud. Or even competitive. In fact, she might have hated you more because you weren’t.
You didn’t care about the exclusivity or politics of high society. You didn’t play the game that everyone else in your world took so seriously and that made you dangerous.
You were out of place. Unimpressed by wealth, far too comfortable sitting in silence. And yet somehow, you were the one Mingi married.
She told herself she wasn’t jealous. That she was simply concerned. That Mingi deserved someone who truly understood him. Someone who moved through this world as naturally as he did. Someone like her.
They had history, after all. She’d known him since they were kids, since the days he’d cover for her when she skipped piano lessons or bought her that Hermès bag she just had to have for her birthday. He had always picked up her calls, chased after her mood swings and made her feel like the most important girl in the room.
He let her call the shots. Let her wrap him around her finger and liked it because Mingi thrived on the attention. The praise. The validation.
And she had grown used to it. To the way he followed her lead, the way he gave her attention without her ever needing to ask for it. She’d built her life around the assumption that, Mingi would be hers, because he always had been, in one way or another.
But then you came along. Oblivious to your own status. You didn’t even want him. Everyone knew about your attempt to flee the country especially when you learned you were to be wed to him.
You didn’t deserve to be his wife.
She didn’t feel guilty for sleeping with Mingi on your wedding night, among the numerous other things they’ve done to hurt you. If anything, it was proof that she still had him. That no matter what ring he wore or what name was written on the marriage certificate, Mingi was still hers.
But then the crash happened and that’s when Ahri panicked.
Because if he didn’t wake up, her entire world would come crashing down. The access to spaces only the Songs, Chois, and Parks of the world were allowed into would vanish. Without him, she wasn’t important. She was just another pretty face from a moderately wealthy family playing dress up in a league she was never truly part of.
But then he woke up and changed.
He wanted to be with you. He loves you.
And that, more than anything else, made her seethe.
Her heels clicked as she resumed her loop around the front of the building, careful not to linger too close to the door. Every few steps, she glanced over her shoulder, scanning the street for any sign of Ming or to ensure the paparazzi she had hired were in position.
Mingi had a spring in his step as he made his way to the office.
Things with you had been steady these past few weeks, full of everyday moments that felt more intimate than anything he’d ever known. He was on cloud nine, wrapped up in a happiness so real it almost scared him. He knew love like this wasn’t something everyone got to keep, and he would do anything, anything, to protect it.
He was already thinking about dinner. Maybe he’d stop by that Chinese place you liked and pick up something savory before the gala. He could already imagine the look on your face when he walked in with it: the playful eye roll, the fond smile you didn’t try to hide anymore.
He was smiling to himself, heart full and stupid, as he rounded the corner to the office.
But the bounce in his step faltered the second he caught sight of the figure waiting near the glass doors.
Ahri.
“What the fuck are you doing here?”
“Mingi,” she said softly, trying to fall into step beside him. “Please. Just give me a minute. We need to talk.”
“There’s nothing to talk about.”
He started to walk past her, but she quickly moved to block his path, desperation flashing in her expression for just a second too long.
She reached for his arm.
And he recoiled like she burned. “Don’t touch me.”
Click.
Ahri shifted her angle just slightly, stepping closer, tilting her face up to his that made it look like they were mid-reconciliation.
“Can we not do this here?” she whispered, loud enough to be picked up if anyone was close. “I miss you.”
Click. Click.
“Ahri,” he warned, jaw clenched. “Don’t do this.”
She gave him a sweet, sad smile like she was the victim. Like this was his betrayal.
“It’s just a conversation. Just two old friends catching up.”
“I’m serious,” he bit out. “If you don’t leave right now, I’ll call security and have you removed from the property. You’re going to regret coming here.”
Click.
Her smile wavered, but only for a second. She stepped back just enough to look obedient but not enough to ruin the shot.
“Fine,” pouted “But don’t say I didn’t try.”
She pivoted smoothly on her heel, sauntering off like the whole thing had been beneath her. As if she hadn’t just dragged his past into the light and twisted it into a knife.
Mingi didn’t move. His fists stayed clenched at his sides, heart hammering in his chest. The world around him had gone eerily still, like a calm before the storm.
He had no idea where the lightning would strike.
You were stirring the last of your noodles absentmindedly, not really listening to whatever Jongho was saying about the recent case he'd been assigned. Jiwoo was halfway through her iced latte, scrolling on her phone like always, occasionally chiming in with a sarcastic remark whenever he got too animated.
“OH FUCK!”
Your head snapped up.
Jongho paused mid-sentence. “What?”
Jiwoo paled. Her phone froze in her hand, screen tilted toward her chest like she was trying to shield it from the table.
You frowned. “Jeon Jiwoo, what is it?”
Jiwoo sat there motionless, but you knew that look. You’d been friends since middle school and you’d seen the way her eyes went wide and how she always went quiet right before telling you something you weren’t supposed to hear.
She exhaled through her nose like it physically pained her. Then, slowly, without a word, she turned the phone around.
Mingi and Ahri were caught outside the Song building. She was up on her tiptoes, leaning in far closely to Mingi. His hand hovered near her back, not quite touching, not quite pulling away. His body looked stiff. Uncomfortable. But the angle told a different story.
Your stomach dropped.
Old Habits Die Hard: Song Mingi and Socialite Ex Stir Up Dating Rumors
“I told you,” said the voice you’d shoved to the back of your mind.
“No, you’re wrong,” you snapped under your breath.
“Am I though?” it sneered. “Because he promised he’d change?”
“Shut up—”
“Y/N?”
Jiwoo’s voice interrupted your train of thought. The screen was still in front of you.
“He looks uncomfortable.” You shrugged, forcing a huff through your nose as you turned your attention back to your food.
“It’s not nothing,” the voice in your head whispered. “It never is with her.”
You reached for your chopsticks and went back to stirring your cold noodles like you were suddenly starving, even though your appetite had long since disappeared.
“Oh, come on,” Jongho muttered, pulling out his own phone and zooming in on the photo with an irritated glare.
“That’s such bullshit. He’s clearly not engaging. She’s the one leaning in, not him.”
He swiped to another angle, scowling deeper. “Honestly? That looks like entrapment. He probably didn’t even know the paparazzi were there. There’s no way he gave consent for this shit to be published.”
“She’s clearly staging it,” Jiwoo added quietly, folding her hands tightly around her drink.
“Hell, if he wanted to, Mingi could make a case for defamation by implication,” Jongho said, tossing his phone onto the table.
Your phone buzzed loudly against the table. You glanced down and nearly dropped your chopsticks mid-bite. Mingi’s name was flashing on the screen. You fumbled for the phone as Jiwoo and Jongho leaned in like vultures.
“Hey,” you answered, turning on the speaker.
“Hey baby,” Mingi’s voice came through, a little rough around the edges but none worse for wear. Jiwoo and Jongho both gagged in unison.
“Hell has definitely frozen over,” Jongho whispered, and you shot him a sharp glare.
“Are you okay?” you asked, trying to keep your voice calm. “I’m guessing you saw the photos.”
“Yeah,” Mingi replied.
“I want you to know I’m not hiding anything. Ahri was hanging around outside the building this morning. She confronted me, trying to get me to take her back—”
“It’s never going to be over between them,” the voice mocked.
But you pushed it aside.
“We pulled security footage of her,” Mingi continued. “I’m already talking to legal about it. We’re going to file a restraining order and possibly a defamation lawsuit.”
“I trust you,” you said quietly, swinging your legs beneath the table. “I just hate how she’s trying to drag you back into her mess.
There was a pause on the other end and you could almost hear Mingi’s heart swell with relief.
“I love you,” he murmured. “I’ll keep you posted.”
You turned slightly, away from Jiwoo and Jongho who were practically breathing down your neck to hear every word.
“I love you too,” you said with a small smile. “I’ll see you at home.”
You ended the call and set your phone down, only to find Jiwoo and Jongho pressed on either side of your face with zero shame.
“Oh my god, who is she?” Jiwoo gasped.
“She’s in her soft girl era,” Jongho added.
You rolled your eyes, batting them both away. “You two are insufferable.”
You leaned back in your seat, letting them tease you. But the headlines loomed in the corner of your mind, and no matter how hard you tried to stay present, dread was all you could feel.
Tumblr media
You sat at your vanity, mindlessly dragging the brush through your hair as if it tethered you to reality. You weren’t looking in the mirror anymore, just staring past it. Somewhere behind you, Mingi was talking. Something about how the Chinese restaurant changed sauces. He was laughing. You should have laughed too. But all you could hear were those headlines.
Old Habits Die Hard.
“She’s coming for him.”  The words echoed beneath your skin, crawling like something alive.
You clenched the brush harder. The bristles snagged in your hair, but you didn’t stop. The room felt like it was closing in on you, the walls inching closer with every breath. You tried to focus on Mingi’s words as he adjusted his cufflinks and the sound of his laugh but the voice was louder.
“You’d better do something before he leaves you.”
The brush slipped from your fingers, clattering against the vanity. You blinked, willing your reflection to steady, begging it to confirm that the love you’d been nurturing was real. Not another illusion. Not just another headline waiting to ruin you.
“Babe? Are you okay?”
Mingi stepped into view behind you, and you forced a smile, even as your throat tightened like it might strangle you from the inside out.
“Yeah,” you sighed, turning to face him, forcing a lightness into your voice.
“Just tired. I had therapy this morning, then lunch with Jiwoo and Jongho. After that, I rushed home to get ready.”
Mingi’s eyes searched yours, as if he could see straight through the act. It had always been easy for him, even when he was still Maro. Back then, he didn’t have words, but he didn’t need them. He could sense it in the way your fingers would go still in his fur or in the way you’d stare blankly at the wall for just a second too long.
Without a word, he reached out, his fingers brushing a stray lock of hair behind your ear. Then he dipped his head and pressed a soft kiss to your bare shoulder, lingering just long enough to breathe you in. His gaze trailed down to the strapless black gown you’d chosen for the evening.
“You look beautiful,” he murmured. “But we don’t have to go, you know.”
Mingi straightened, his hands settling lightly on your arms. “We could ditch the gala. I can tell my parents you aren't feeling well and we can just stay in.”
“I’m fine,” you said softly, brushing your thumb over the curve of his cheekbone.
“We should go. It matters to your family.”
His brows drew together, and his hand rose instinctively to catch yours, holding it against his skin.
“Yeah, but you matter to me.”
“I know,” you whispered, leaning in to kiss him. You weren’t sure if it was to quiet the storm inside or to make sure he felt it—that you were grateful, that you trusted him.
When you pulled away, he met your eyes and said firmly, “The second you want to leave, you say the word.”
“Okay…I love you.”
“I love you too.” He kissed you again, then helped you to your feet. You smoothed your dress, did one last glance in the mirror, and slipped your earrings in with trembling hands.
When you finally turned to him, Mingi gave your hand a gentle squeeze and offered his arm. You slipped yours through his, leaning into the quiet comfort of the gesture as the two of you stepped into the waiting car—then into the sea of flashing lights.
The gala was already in full swing by the time you arrived. As the door opened, Mingi reached for you without hesitation. The lights hit you instantly, harsh and unforgiving. Beyond the barricades, the crowd buzzed with low murmurs. The press called out his name. And worse… they called yours.
“Did you see the Ahri photos? I bet she’s pissed.”
“Can you imagine showing up after that kind of embarrassment?”
Your smile tightened, straining to withstand the flashing lights that burned relentlessly into your skin. Your fingers gripped Mingi’s arm a little harder, grounding yourself.
“Yeah, aren't you embarrassed? Where’s your dignity?” The voice dripped with disdain and you blinked through it, keeping your head high as the cameras flashed.
Mingi shifted beside you, wrapping his arm around your waist. “Come on, let’s get you inside.”
And you let him lead you forward, even as the voice whispered that you didn’t belong here.
The lobby doors parted, and the noise hit you like a wave. For a moment, you stood in the threshold, blinking against the glare. A few heads turned. Then a few more. And suddenly it felt like the whole room had noticed.
“Y/N! You look stunning.”
“So good to see you two together again.”
Voices overlapped, warm and relentless. People began stepping closer, and instinctively, you stepped back. Mingi didn’t seem to notice. He remained beside you, calm and composed, exchanging pleasantries with business partners, stakeholders, and guests alike. His hand rested at the small of your back, steady in appearance, but it no longer grounded you.
You smiled, nodded, said hello. But everyone was looking at you, and suddenly you couldn’t tell if they were happy to see you or just waiting for you to break.
And underneath it, the panic was starting to creep in.
“I need a minute,” you murmured, turning slightly toward Mingi, keeping your voice low enough that only he could hear. “I’m just going to the bathroom.”
He gave a small nod, eyes still scanning the room, and squeezed your side gently. You slipped away, trying to move with purpose. But your heels felt too loud against the marble floor and you were drawing more attention to yourself.
In for four. Hold for four. Out for four.
Your pulse pounded in your ears, but you counted anyway. Again. And again.
Name five things you can see.
The marbled counter. The flickering light above the mirror. The stall door. Your wedding ring. The vase in the corner.
Four things you can touch.
Three you can hear.
Two you can smell.
One you can taste.
You did it all, like Jungah taught you. Your breath started to even out and the knot in your chest loosened, just a little. You smoothed your hair and patted your cheeks.
“You’re okay. You’re okay. Just go back out there.”
Out there, Mingi was smiling, laughing, maybe even waiting for you. He had become the version of himself you once hoped for. The one who fought for you, for himself, and moved through the world with a lightness that no longer came with bitterness.
But beneath all that lingered the memory of distance. The cold shoulder after fights. The excuses. The waiting. The ache.
You wanted to believe this time was different. You wanted to believe the worst was behind you.
Your heart wasn’t sure yet. You were still caught in the whiplash of what had been and what was trying to be. But tonight was about showing up. For him. For your family. For the version of yourself that still believed something meaningful could be built from the wreckage.
You reached for the door, smoothed your dress one last time, and stepped out.
“Oh look,” a voice slurred, pushing off the wall, “the princess emerges.”
Your steps faltered when you spotted Ahri slouched against the hallway wall just outside the bathroom, her dress slightly askew, eye makeup smudged, and a sparkling remnant of champagne swirling in the glass she still clutched.
“You ruined my life,” she spat, pushing off the wall and stumbling toward you.
Despite the haze of alcohol, she was fast, cutting around you to block your path.
“I gave him everything,” she hissed. “And now legal’s crawling up my ass because he’s decided he wants nothing to do with me!”
“You did that to yourself,” you replied coldly. “You chose to show up where you weren’t wanted and leak those photos. And now you’re surprised that there are consequences?”
“You think you’re untouchable because your family has power? Because you married into the Songs?”
You didn’t blink.
“Yes.”
Her jaw dropped. That wasn’t the answer she expected, especially not from you, someone she always thought was passive, forgettable, soft.
“Let’s be honest,” you said, turning away, “you were convenient. A messy one at that.”
She stumbled after you, but you were already walking briskly back toward the ballroom. The hum of conversation, the swell of music, and the flash of lights through the glass doors felt like a return to solid ground.
But Ahri wasn’t finished.
“He loves me! You hear me? He always has. You think you’ve won, but you haven’t. You’re just playing house while he dreams about me!”
Heads turned. Then she lunged.
From across the room, Mingi’s eyes snapped to you the moment he heard the shrill edge in Ahri’s voice; the second her arm lifted, glass in hand, he surged forward, weaving through the crowd without hesitation and reaching you just as the glass flew. He pulled you into his chest to shield you as champagne exploded across his back.
Gasps rippled through the room and everything came to a screeching halt. All eyes were on you.
“You—” Ahri shrieked. “I told you, you’d regret it, Song Mingi!”
She was swaying, her chest rising and falling with heavy, uneven breaths. Her fingers clenched and unclenched at her sides as she glared at him, at you, at the way he was still holding you protectively, one arm bracing your back.
"You threw me away for this?" She gestured wildly to you, her eyes burning with drunken hatred.
"Some charity case!?”
"That's enough!” Mingi bellowed, pulling even closer to him.
"Enough? Enough?" She let out a hysterical, humorless laugh before sneering at you.
"You should have run away when you did! Everyone knows you’re fucking weird! You’re fucking weird for hanging around poor people! If you had just disappeared, everyone would be—”
Disappeared.
If you had disappeared…
Disappeared. Like you were nothing. Like your absence wouldn’t have even mattered.
Your pulse roared in your ears, drowning out the murmurs and judgmental stares. The humiliation was suffocating. Anger surged beneath it, years of swallowed pain and unmet expectations clawing their way up from the depths.
Your vision tunneled and you felt your fingers curl into fists, nails digging into your palms so hard they might bleed.
And then, before reason could catch up, your body lurched forward.
With a force you didn’t know you had, you jerked back your arm and swung. The crack of your fist against Ahri’s cheek split the air like a thunderclap. Her head snapped sideways, one heel collapsing beneath her as she stumbled back, eyes blown wide with disbelief.
For a moment, the entire world seemed to hold its breath. And then she let out a garbled, indignant shriek.
“Shut the fuck up,” you snarled, chest heaving, hands still trembling with the force of your rage.
You lunged again, adrenaline surging through your veins like wildfire. Your second punch landed harder, fueled by raw humiliation and the desire to be seen, to make her feel every ounce of rage you had endured over the last few years. You wanted her to understand that you weren’t someone to be dismissed, pitied, or spat on.
But before you could go in for another hit, strong arms locked around you from behind, yanking you back.
“Get her out of here,” San ordered as he restrained you.
Kira was already at your side, looping her arm through yours, steering you from the wreckage you’d left behind.
Ahri was still clutching her cheek, her lips trembling as if she wanted to scream again, but no one was paying attention to her anymore. The impact of your punch left guests in stunned silence before the inevitable storm of whispers and murmurs erupted.
The stares burned into you from every direction. Guests murmured behind their hands, some gawking, others exchanging scandalized glances. A few looked almost amused, relishing the unexpected entertainment unfolding before them. The spectacle of the night wasn’t the elegant gala, the niceties or the venue…it was you.
But you didn’t care. You never did.
Your knuckles ached, tingling from the force of the hits. Your heart pounded against your ribs as adrenaline coursed through you in waves. Even as Kira hurriedly led you toward the exit, you kept your head high, refusing to let the weight of their judgment crush you.
“I got this,” Mingi murmured.
He slipped off his jacket and draped it around your shoulders, shielding you without a word, then placed a steadying arm around your waist. Together, you moved through the crowd, people parting without a sound.
Tumblr media
"Have you lost your mind?!" Your mother’s shrill voice cut through the air as your entire family and your in-laws stormed into the room.
“Do you have any idea what you’ve just done?” she continued, eyes wide with disbelief.
Jongho immediately stepped between you and them, his lawyer instincts kicking in, as he spoke with a measured tone.
"I think we should all take a moment to calm down—"
“Calm down?!” your father-in-law cut in, exasperated. “The media’s going to have a field day with this!” He dragged a hand down his face.
“You assaulted someone in front of donors, the press, everyone.”
The arguments overlapped, voices rising, accusations and concerns piling on top of each other.
“You need to apologize immediately.”
“You’ve put the entire family at risk.”
“What were you thinking?”
“She baited you, and you walked right into it—”
It was suffocating. The walls of the room felt like they were closing in. The stifling noise, the spotlight, the pressure, they had followed you here, and now they were suffocating you.
You’d had enough.
Your fingers clenched. Your jaw tightened. The pressure built, and built, and built until you snapped.
“Shut the fuck up! Everyone shut the fuck up!”
Silence.
“I don’t fucking care about damage control, gossip, or about what anyone thinks.” Your voice was hoarse but unshaken.
“I’ve had enough.”
Your father took a step forward, but you pointed to the door, stopping him in his tracks.
"Get out."
Your mother blinked. “Y/N—”
"I said. Get. The. Fuck. Out."
For a moment, your parents stared at you as if you were a stranger. As if the person standing before them was someone they barely recognized. And maybe you were. Because in truth, they had never truly known you at all.
One by one, your in-laws, Jongho, and San slipped away, leaving the room.
Your parents were the last to go, your mother’s lips pressed into a tight line, your father releasing a frustrated sigh. Even they knew better than to push any further.
The door clicked shut behind them.
You buried your face in your hands, hot tears spilling onto your lap as sobs ripped through you. Humiliation, isolation, and years of judgment came crashing down all at once and you couldn’t even tell what hurt the most.
Mingi knelt down in front of you, reaching for your hands gently, his thumbs brushing over your bruised knuckles.
“Y/N, I’m so sorry. I’m so fucking sorry that happened.”
You let out a shaky breath, blinking past the tears to look at him. He was kneeling before you, his broad frame slightly hunched, as if he was trying to make himself smaller.
“Mingi, I-I’m so tired. I’m tired of all of this. Of everything.”
His brows knit together, guilt flashing across his face. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“How could I? I’ve spent so long trying to be good enough for my parents, for your family, for the entire fucking world!” Your voice rose with the ache of it all.
“And for what? To always feel like an outsider in my own life? Like I don’t belong anywhere?”
“You belong with me,” he said quietly, tightening his hands around yours. “No matter what anyone says.”
“If I did, you wouldn’t have made me feel so worthless," you seethed, jerking your hands away from him.
Mingi’s lips parted, but no words came. He knew he was the reason you were here, the reason Ahri singled you out, humiliated you in front of prying eyes, and why you’d endured undeserved cruelty for so long.
He’d allowed his own resentment to fester, blind to the damage he caused, hurting you repeatedly because he was too afraid to face the truth: you were never the enemy, and he had been wrong about you from the start.
“Y/N, I’m sorry I made you feel that way. I should have never let you feel alone, not for a second.” His hands twitched, as if aching to reach out, to pull you close, but he held back, knowing you wouldn’t let him.
"Please--"
“You expect one apology to erase years of making me feel like I was never enough?”
The words spilled out before you could stop them. You just couldn’t.
“You belittled me. You made me feel like I was just…taking up space in a life you didn’t even want me in. You went out of your way to humiliate me! And now you say you love me, but where was that love when I needed it the most?”
You stopped, breath catching in your throat as you looked up at your husband.
His face had gone pale, lips parted slightly, but he said nothing. He didn’t have to. You could see it written all over his face like you’d taken a knife and driven it straight into his chest.
But Mingi knew. He knew he deserved every word.
“I’m sorry,” you swallowed, guilt settling deep into your bones. “That wasn’t fair.”
Mingi’s throat bobbed as he struggled to hold back his emotions. His lashes fluttered, blinking rapidly, fighting the tears threatening to spill over.
Your hands trembled as they hovered between you, unsure whether to reach for him or stay still.
“I just…I need you to understand how badly it’s hurt. How alone I’ve felt. But I didn’t mean to hurt you too. I’m sorry.”
Mingi’s hands found your arms first, then your waist. For a moment, you stiffened. He could feel the way your body tensed under his hold. But then slowly, cautiously, you melted into him.
He exhaled, quietly, as if the contact alone steadied the both of you. He wanted to say he’d do better, be better. And he meant it. But the truth was, no matter how deeply he loved you, it wouldn’t erase the years you’d spent feeling unseen.
Still, he didn’t blame you for lashing out. He forgave you instantly. Because how could he not? You had been the one who stayed.
And for him, that had always been more than enough.
Mingi pressed a kiss to the top of your head, as if trying to soothe away all the hurt he’d caused. His fingers moved in slow circles against your back, his heartbeat steady beneath your cheek.
You buried your face in his chest as the tears came, and his arms tightened around you like he could hold all your broken pieces together. In his arms you imagined a world where he was yours you were truly his.
You pictured slow dancing to whatever was playing on the record player. Maybe he’d teach you how to paint. Maybe you’d take that road trip to nowhere and never come back.
But the world, for all its beauty, hadn't made space for your kind of love.
“I want a divorce,” you whispered.

foaming at the mouth so hard rn!!! im such a whore for stalker!yunho 😩
Tumblr media Tumblr media
cw for threats, a knife, and overall just psychotic behavior
stalker!yunho who’s just the sweet boy that sits next to you in your literature class. who helps you when you’re struggling to understand and gives you his notes when you miss a day of class.
and he follows you to your job after class. your boring, draining retail job he knows you hate. and he just wants to make sure your safe. but his blood boils when that pathetic excuse for a boyfriend of yours shows up to bring you a coffee. because who the fuck does he think he is? does he really think he can treat you right? yunho bets he doesn’t even know you coffee order.
he stays lurking in the many aisles of the store. making sure he can always see you without you noticing. he doesn’t want you to misunderstand. and he fears you would.
yunho’s not a creep. he’s a good guy! and he just wants to make sure you’re safe and happy. that’s why he slipped that little note into you purse. “have a beautiful day, sweetheart” it said. because you deserved to have a day just as perfect and you were.
and he knows what’s best for you. which is why he follows your boyfriend out into the parking lot. slipping into the backseat of his car and putting a knife to his neck before he can even react.
yunho’s voice is low and commanding. “break up with her.” the man claws at yunho’s arm but he just presses the knife further into his neck. “you hear me? break up with her.” he lets out a whimper. pathetic. “because if you don’t,” yunho is one ounce of pressure away from breaking skin, “i’ll fucking kill you. and i’ll do it in front of her. and it’ll be so slow and so painful that you’ll be wishing at every second that you were fucking dead.”
he nods frantically, “ok! ok!” he’s sobbing now, “i’ll do it. just please let me go!”
that’s all yunho needs to let him go. he would have killed him if he had the right opportunity. but he feared that the cctv of the store might give him away. and yunho was pretty confident that he wasn’t gonna talk.
and it turns out he was right. your boyfriend didn’t dump you. not really. he’d completely skipped town. left. blocked you on everything and just disappeared. and honestly, yunho was sad to see you so heartbroken. it was for the best. he know that. but part of him felt bad that it was his fault that you were crying through lit class nearly every day.
it really was worth it though. because, it turns out, you did have a little crush on the boy who sat next to you in your lit class. the tall, handsome, well-spoken man that helped you through so many assignments. and when you had gotten dumped/ghosted he was right there. right there to help you through class and make sure you were okay.
so when he offered to help you study for the upcoming exam, you told him to come over to your place. and you dress up for him in cute little pj shorts and a tiny crop top that shows off everything for him. he wishes you know that you didn’t have to do all this for him. that he was so fucking obsessed with you already. but he thinks it’s cute nonetheless.
and it turns out, yunho’s not as strong-willed as he thought. because when you start flirting with him and pressing into him, it’s over for him.
in no time, your on his lap, grinding your hardly covered pussy over his sweats. and he’s whispering in your ear, “such a desperate little thing. so so desperate and needy.”
and he lets you bounce on his cock all you want. his eyes devouring your whole body. watching as your tits bounce just for him. your whimpers are music to his ears. “god, you’re so perfect. so beautiful and so sweet.” he looks you deep in the eyes as your on the verge of your orgasm, “tell me, sweetheart, are you mine now?” you nod desperately with your eyes screwed shut, “yeah? all mine?” he smiles to himself, stroking your hair as your cum all over him. you have no idea how much of you is truly his.

a thing that i particularly love about the hunger games prequels is how it shows that people have been fighting against the games since their inception
when i was younger and read the original trilogy for the first time i was so bothered how it was 74 years of games, i remember thinking how could it have gone on so long without anyone doing anything
these prequels highlight that people have been fighting from the get-go: lucy gray's defiance, reaper ripping down panem's flags to cover the fallen tributes, haymitch's games and how many others shared his ideologies - the capitol just drowns them out, they rewrite their stories so their efforts are forgotten
liberation takes time and it's built upon the actions of those in the past

Tumblr media
you know what i think about a lot? post-orgasm cuddling with yunho.
whether it be at the end of a very long night together or just a couple orgasms in, when you cuddle up to him after he’s just given you the best dick of your life, he’s so sweet and gentle. always tells you to “c’mere, baby” before laying you on top of his chest, letting you bury your face in his neck. gently petting you hair. letting you curl up on top of him.
kisses your cheeks and forehead and whispers little praises to you even in your hazy state: “you’re so perfect.” “you did so well for me, baby.” “i’m so proud of you.”
and when you start to shift in his chest a bit he checks in and asks how you feel. and though he’s pretty good at judging how you feel, he’ll ask if you wanna keep going or call it a night (because 9 time out of 10 he could go as long as you needed. so it’s always your call). and if you tell him your done, he’ll let you lay in. his arms for a couple more minutes before helping you to the bathroom and cleaning you up.
will always put on a movie for the two of you while you lay in bed since he’s always pretty wired after sex. but since he knows how sleepy you get, he never minds it when you fall asleep immediately. especially when your snuggled up right to him.

Prologue:
There was never any doubt when Donghyuck was born, that he was his father’s son. He’d come out of the womb punching, and despite his mother being a mistress, the renowned weapons dealer had claimed Donghyuck as his own, as he’d claimed other illegitimate would-be heirs.
The blood of the mother was redundant in Donghyuck’s father’s eyes, all that mattered, was that he was a Lee. This mentality had stayed with Donghyuck in his early childhood, growing up amongst other half-siblings. Mark, for example, was slightly older, and although he had more of his mother’s gentle temperament, he knew how to live up to his name when it mattered. Jeno, in contrast, was very much another mini-me to their father, very bold, very aggressive.
When Donghyuck was ten, something happened that would change the entire course of his life.
Having lived in a corrupt monarchy for the entirety of his existence, and having a father who was somewhat of a Kingpin in the shady world of weapons, Donghyuck grew to have a disdain for the King, who was always meddling, always making choices that had negative effects on his people.
The Lees weren’t the only clan who hated the King, in fact, the head royal’s choices were so bad, that he gained the moniker ‘The Mad King.’ His own family had turned against him, and when he would not willingly relinquish his power it was decided that for the first time in a very long time, an internal assassination would be the best choice for the entire realm.
When Donghyck was ten, his eldest half-brother, Lee Taeyong, assassinated The Mad King, thus making way for the thrown to be usurped by the King’s own younger brother, a younger brother who now had ties, and a debt to settle, with Donghyuck’s family.
The first year after The Mad King’s death saw more reform for the better than perhaps ever in the history of the kingdom. There were some who were unhappy with a militia-style arms dealer family injecting themselves into the court through a blood favor, but others understood that sometimes, this type of brute force is necessary for positive change. Besides, the new King understood, as the King before him had not, that having the raw power of the Lees backing him up would be the safest choice of all.
At eleven, Donghyuck was sent to the castle to be a ward for the royal family. He would spend six months of the year learning the ins and outs of the court. This was the first time Donghyuck had felt like a half-son, like the birth of his mother had reflected negatively on him. He didn’t want to be in the libraries studying, or learning how to make diplomatic concessions- that wasn’t who he was. Lee Donghyuck was not a royal, and in the mind of his eleven-year-old self, he never would be.
Donghyuck would spend seven years in between the castle and his family home, feeling torn, feeling less than his half-brothers, who were gaining the benefit of a full-time life with his father. There were a few bright moments with the royals, bright moments when he’d first met you, the Princess. The two of you became fast friends, both sharing a common feeling of dissatisfaction with your fathers’ treatment, both feeling like being the youngest in a large clan had its downsides.
At eighteen, Donghyuck was no longer forced to be a ward. He was a full member of the Lee’s now, and he’d spent all his time in the castle working to be the best asset to his father that he could be, desperately wanting to prove to his father that he could be the best of all his sons, maybe even better than Taeyong, who had been the tool used to secure their spot as royal-adjacents.
It wasn’t until Donghyuck was twenty that he learned the truth of why he had been the one chosen to go to the castle. He, out of all his siblings, of age, and of sharp mind, was determined to be the most useful plant within the marble walls of royalty.
After he’d found out how his father truly saw him, Donghyuck became a fully unstoppable force, and he never looked back.
Tumblr media
One:
“It’s been a long time,” the old advisor to the King says as he takes a seat, staring at Donghyuck from behind his large office desk.
“It has,” Donghyuck agrees, eying all the official papers that still scatter Seunghyun’s space.
“I received the letter from your father,” the advisor continues, reaching for the document in question to hold it up. “I suppose I always knew this day was coming, especially after what your family did for our King.”
Donghyuck nods. It would seem to him that the notion of an arranged marriage had likely always been in his father’s back pocket, but of course, when Donghyuck was younger, he hadn’t realized he would be the intended Lee to join the royal family. Now, as a man, the entire play makes sense. He’s not a complete stranger to the princesses, nor is he unfamiliar with the court and the way the royals conduct themselves.
No, Donghyuck was purposefully sent here by his father to infiltrate, to make the exact move that he’s attempting to make right now.
Lee Donghyuck will marry into the royal family, forever securing an unbreakable bond between them, and it is this mission, that Donghyuck has unknowingly spent over ten years trying to achieve.
“I have discussed this letter with the King,” Seunghyun continues, “and we assume there is no guess as to whom you would like as your bride.”
“No guess,” Donghyuck responds with a chuckle, looking down at the Lee family ring on his pinky.
“You always did have a connection with the youngest princess. If it would be amenable to your father… If he has no other specifications as to which Princess you are to be wedded to, the King agrees that you and Princess y/n can be wed within a week’s time.”
Donghyuck can’t help the way his heart thumps in his chest. His father had made him aware of this royally arranged marriage a month ago, but he’s still not quite used to the idea that you’ll be his wife.
He’d always had an attraction to you, an attraction to your body, mind, and spirit- but as a teenager, he’d done his best to push those thoughts aside. He’d been acutely aware that your differing situations in life would most likely keep you from ever being in a union-
In some ways, Donghyuck feels like he’s entered a very good dream, but there are some anxieties that come with it. After all, he hasn’t seen you in years… what if your opinion of him has changed?
“That timeline works for the Lee clan,” Donghyuck says smoothly, “as does the Princess in question.”
It’s funny how easily Donghyuck slips back into the diction of the castle, the ‘proper’ way of speaking. it’s been years since he’s been here, but in some odd way, it’s as if he never left.
Tumblr media
Two:
“The two of you always had a connection,” your older sister Jenni concedes as you sit in front of your vanity, an artist working on your makeup. “But you haven't seen him in years.”
“He can’t have changed that much, right?” you ask, looking between your siblings.
Hwasa exchanges a glance with Jenni. As the second oldest, Hwasa is married already, however, in contrast to your arranged match, she’d been wed to a Prince and is now next in line for a throne half a continent away.
“Certain qualities are bound to stay the same,” Hwasa says diplomatically. “However… I have heard about his more recent reputation.”
You’ve all heard about it. Once upon a time, Taeyong had been the prodigal son of the Lee clan, he’d even overthrown a whole kingdom for the chance to strengthen family ties, but in recent years, the story goes that the eldest Lee boy had become timid, less so like his father. Donghyuck, in contrast, has supposedly risen in the ranks, working all the way up to somewhat of a right-hand man figure, despite him being one of the younger members of the halfling brood.
“He’ll still be the same boy who wanted to skip lessons to play in the park,” you insist. “The same boy who got high marks without studying.”
“Intellect is an attractive trait,” Hwasa concedes, “however, I seem to remember his reckless disdain for rules got you in trouble a number of times as well.”
“She was always following him into bad situations,” Jenni agrees with a laugh. “It was charming when they were young. A twelve-year-old kingpin’s son, corrupting a princess to go on ‘dangerous’ quests, playing pretend in the castle park.”
“I guess neither of us thought we’d ever be very important to our families,” you sigh. “I’m the youngest daughter. Sure, I was expected to marry well, but I think we all knew I’d never be more than a princess. I’m no Queen.”
“Maybe not one in name,” Hwasa says, cocking her head to the side as she plays with your veil. “But someone has to run the Lee empire when the kingpin dies, and many sources are pointing toward Donghyuck as being the next in line. Securing you as a match would definitely add some… legitimacy, considering the fact that he’s a half-blood.”
“His father’s wife never bore children,” you point out, feeling defensive. “It made sense for him to have mistresses, children born out of wedlock. He kept his wife, whom he loved, but still needed a line to inherit his work. It’s an arrangement they had.”
“I’ve heard conflicting reports on whether Mrs. Lee was very agreeable to the situation, having a host of children calling your husband father while she herself was not a birth mother,” Hwasa sighs.
“I don’t want to hear about this anymore,” you declare. “I’m getting married today, and these politics and talks of family lines and legitimacy are dampening my mood.”
Your sisters exchange one last look, but then they bow their heads to you, a sign of submission.
You know they’re just protective, that they’re not the only ones dissecting the arrangement with your fiance.
Having spent your life in a castle, you’re used to gossip. The only person who never truly cared about what others thought was Donghyuck, and you’re eager for the strength he provided you when you were young.
Tumblr media
Three:
Donghyuck can hardly breathe when the church doors open and you begin to walk through. Your veil obscures your face, your chin dipped down to pay attention to the floor as your father slowly escorts you up the aisle. Even without being able to fully see you, Donghyuck can tell you’ve only grown more beautiful in the years since he’s seen you, and his heart begins to thump wildly in his chest.
Jeno and Mark are his groomsmen, and he can feel them shifting behind him, clearly reacting to your beauty, as everyone in the House of God is.
Things seem to move incredibly slowly, and also incredibly fast. The King is handing you off to Donghyuck, and he’s taking you by the hand, marveling at the scar on your palm that you’d gotten from slipping on a rock when you were both fifteen. God, the castle physician had had a field day with Hyuck when that happened-
He can feel your eyes on him, and soon, he’s lifting your veil to see your face.
Donghyuck can feel the smile that appears on his lips, and you shyly beam back, downcasting your gaze. The Lee can hardly hear the minister as he goes through a useless traditional ceremony, it’s all business after all.
The only things that matter are the ‘I do’s’ and the kiss, and when that happens, Donghyuck is fully present. He wets his lips, squeezing your hand gently. You give him a small nod, a wordless show that it’s okay, that he can move forward and solidify the future you’ll now have together, the future that, in some ways, was always meant to be.
He wants to be gentle with you, cupping your face and watching you intently as you both move in. At the last moment, your eyes flutter closed, and he mirrors the action, pressing his lips to yours.
It’s the most chaste kiss Donghyuck’s ever had, but at the same time, nothing in the world has ever excited him more.
You taste like mandarine oranges and springtime, and a familiar feeling that has been buried for years begins to bubble up in the young man’s chest like the blossoming of a cherry tree. You’re his future, and he can feel it in his very soul.
Tumblr media
Four:
You’ve felt as if things had progressed quite naturally at the wedding and reception, but now, going with Donghyuck to his home and finally getting some alone time- well, you’re beginning to feel twinges of anxiety.
This man, who you’d known years ago, has grown up. His hair is a little longer, and his hands bear the marks of an everlasting fighter’s soul, but despite these changes, his smile is still the same, as is the soft way he gazes at you.
“How are you feeling?” Donghyuck asks, walking around his large master bedroom to retrieve some water for you.
“I’m alright, and you?”
“Never been better,” your husband grins, handing you a cup and sitting across from you in the small seating area of his room by the fire. “Were you surprised by this whole arrangement thing?”
You cock your head to the side, considering the question. “Yes, and no. I hadn’t expected a marriage connection between our families, but once I was made aware of it, it felt like I was stupid for never seeing the intention before. And when I found out it would be you marrying someone from my family, I knew you would choose me.”
“We always got along.”
“We did more than get along,” you laugh, feeling your skin flush. You take a sip of water to steady yourself. “I’d always had a crush on you, Donghyuck, following you around like a lost puppy-”
“You never felt like a lost puppy to me. You were just my best friend six months of the year.”
You can’t help but smile. “Best friend,” you repeat, releasing a sad breath. “I was upset when you turned eighteen and stopped coming. I never heard from you.”
“Life got busy,” Donghyuck frowns.
“I’ve heard,” you nod.
You can feel him studying you, and he leans forward. “I’m sorry. I should have contacted you.”
“It’s alright,” you wave your hand. “We’re here now.”
“We are,” he agrees. “If it makes you feel better, I’ve been thinking about you.”
“You have?”
“I uh…” He rubs the back of his neck shyly, “I always had a crush on you too, but I figured it would never work out, so…”
“It’s funny how life has a way of bringing people together again,” you muse. “As if our fates were always set in stone, always meant to be…” you search for the right word, and it comes to you both in unison: “aligned.”
You both laugh, looking down, and it’s as if you’re shy teenagers again, teasing with the idea of a forbidden romance that has now come to fruition, with the full backing of both of your families.
“You look very beautiful,” Donghyuck muses, eyes raking over your wedding dress.
“I thought you might like this one,” you smile, also looking down at yourself. “I remember you used to like the bows I’d wear in my hair, always tugging on them-”
“So you wrapped yourself up like a pretty present for me,” Donghyuck deduces. “How very generous of you, Princess.”
A giddy tingle erupts up your spine. While everyone calls you Princess - as it is your title - it feels different coming from Donghyuck’s lips, and it always has.
“It’s our wedding night…” you point out, “I wanted to gift you something, give you something to unwrap.”
Donghyuck swallows thickly, a motion you don’t miss. “Princess… you’ve gotten… bold since we last met.”
“You’re my husband, can’t I be bold with you, Hyuck?”
He takes a deep breath. “I wasn’t sure you’d want to be… I mean, I’m willing to give you time-”
“Consummation is a time-honored tradition,” you point out, only half teasing. “It’s our wedding night, and I’m not the only person with expectations.”
“I doubt your family expects me to give you an heir, Hwasa and your eldest brother have more than delivered in that area,” Donghyuck laughs. “But I see your point.”
“Do you?” You set your water down, standing. Turning your back to Donghyuck, you approach the large bed before looking over your shoulder at him. He’s taking in the bows that make the length of your corsetted back, and you can see his mind working to figure out how he’s going to undo everything in a timely manner. “Come, husband, unwrap your wedding present.”
You’ve been dreaming about this night all week- in fact, you’ve been fantasizing about this since you were sixteen.
Donghyuck might have a reputation to uphold in the darker world he inhabits with his family, but with you, this is Hyuck, the rascal ward who’d stolen your heart when you were children. Right now, he’s not a future Kingpin, nor are you a Princess. Instead, you’re man and wife, and you intend to reap the new benefits these connected titles give you.
You can sense Donghyuck hesitate as he approaches you, coming to a stop just at your back. His hands gently smooth up your arms, and he leans forward to press his lips to your shoulder. “Are you sure about this?” he asks.
“I’ve never been more sure,” you respond, arching your neck to look back at him.
Donghyuck reaches up to pinch your chin, and then he kisses you.
It’s a soft kiss like you’d shared at the alter just hours ago, but you have no need to put on a chaste show for royals, there’s no one currently in attendance at this special moment. It’s just you and him, and you’re quick to turn things deeper, releasing a small moan of pleasure as you turn in his arms, threading your fingers through his silky hair.
He grabs your waist, but as you kiss, you can feel his palm smoothing to the small of your back. He begins to pluck loose all the intricate bows, not missing a beat as he does so.
You tug at his suit and Donghuck concedes to you just long enough to get his jacket off before he returns to his task. The kiss is turning heated very quickly, and your skin is tingling with excitement, your heart racing like a wild bird in your rib cage.
Donghyuck begins to kiss down to your throat, licking and sucking on the skin while you gasp and whimper. He’s all-consuming, and you don’t know where to focus as he worships you while simultaneously undoing the bows on the back of your dress.
His lips ghost by the swell of your breasts, pushed up by the corsetted structure in your wedding gown. God, it feels amazing, and you throw your head back, panting deeply.
“Being so good for me, Princess,” Donghyuck muses, his lips trailing back up your throat. He pulls away, looking down at you. “I want you to know- you can change your mind at any time and I won’t hold it against you-”
“Hyuck,” you groan. “Can you just let me want you?” You bunch your hands up in his suit. “Can you accept that I need you? That I’m not being forced, or coerced- that this ‘arranged’ marriage isn’t even really that ‘arranged’ because, for me, it’s always been you?”
He’s staring at you in shock, and you decide to take matters into your own hands. You muster up all your strength and push him onto the bed before confidently mounting him. You gather up the poofy skirts of your dress, getting comfortable so you can grind down on him despite all the fabric in the way.
“I didn’t expect this,” Donghyuck admits, swallowing thickly.
“Get used to it,” you fire back, leaning down to cup his face, pressing your lips against his with a newfound passion.
He quickly gets to work on the back of your dress again, and now you’re both moaning at the feeling of you grinding down on top of him.
Something hard is pressing up against your core, and the knowledge that he’s already hard has you feeling feverish in the best possible way. He wants you the way you want him, and you’re starting to regret wearing such an intricate dress.
“Fuck this,” Hyuck groans, pushing you off of him and onto the bed. He grabs you next, flipping you onto your stomach. When you look over your shoulder, you realize he’s produced a knife - had he been hiding that in a clip on the back of his pants this whole time?
With one rough stroke, he cuts through all the ribbons and the lace along the back of your dress, ruining it in an effort to get to you quickly.
“I never had much patience for presents or keeping wrapping paper intact,” Donghyuck muses, leaning over to set his knife on the bedside table. “Let's get you out of this fucking gown.”
He flips you again, and you release a giggle at the manhandling, loving this new side of your husband. He’s clearly insatiable, and it sets your entire body on fire as he grips your dress and practically tears it from your form.
You’re in undergarments, and unlike your dress, there hadn't been any royal and historical specifications about the details, so the thong and garter are very much a contrast to the now-destroyed gown that’s been tossed aside.
The corset on the dress has been enough to not merit a bra of any sort, so now, looking up at Donghyuck, you’re already half naked, and it’s clear that he’s taken aback from the view.
He stops, just staring at you, his lips parted in disbelief.
“Wow,” he breathes.
“Like what you see?”
“Yes, Princess.” He swallows thickly, gaze finally dipping to take in your thong and the wedding garter on your thigh. “This is pretty.” Donghyuck grabs at the lacey strap, pulling it away from your skin to let it gently snap back.
“It’s not the most traditional thing in the world for royals to wear one, but I thought you might enjoy it,” you muse.
“What do I do with it?”
“I was thinking… you could take it off with your teeth.”
“My teeth?” Donghyuck looks up at you with surprise.
“Your teeth,” you confirm, “but… maybe also take your shirt off first.”
“Is this tradition?” your husband asks as he begins to unbutton his top.
“Not entirely,” you giggle, enjoying the look of his tanned skin as more and more of it is revealed.
When you’d known Donghyuck before, he’d always been a little scrawny, but in his years away, he’s built muscle, and the sight of it is making you drool.
There are a few scars that litter his skin as well, scars that likely have stories you’ll have to ask about later, but right now, your focus is of a more primal nature.
Donghyuck shrugs his shirt to the floor, then he gets down on the bed between your legs. He starts peppering your calf in kisses, slowly ascending to your knee, then your thigh.
The feeling of his breath makes you groan and he looks up at you with dark eyes.
“Keep going,” you urge, grabbing at the bed sheets.
His teeth tease along the flimsy garter, and once he has an acceptable grip, he begins to tug it down your leg. Donghyuck moves slowly, toying with you and building the suspense.
You can feel your pussy beginning to throb with need already, and when the garter is discarded, Donghyuck’s lips take the same path up your leg again, but this time, he doesn’t stop where the material had just been.
He continues until his breath is fanning across your covered core, and it makes you whine, gripping the sheets tighter.
“Can I take these off too?” Donghyuck asks, voice low as one of his fingers teases the waistband of your thong.
“Please,” you whimper, lifting your hips a little to help him remove the only piece of clothing still standing between your husband and what you both want most.
Your panties are gone in a flash, and then two hands are snaking under your thighs, adjusting your core. Donghyuck licks his lips, looking up at you.
You expect him to say something, but he doesn’t, instead, he dives in, licking your pussy and sucking your clit into his mouth while you release a strangled cry. One of your hands flies down to tangle in his hair, and Donghyuck groans deeply, sending a vibration through your core that lights up your entire form.
As a Princess, your virtue has always been protected. You’re a virgin, and while you know about sex, you’ve never known what it is to experience it with another.
Nothing could have prepared you for this, for the way your entire body tingles with pleasure so all-consuming that you can’t help but moan desperately.
Donghyuck eats you like he’s been a man starved, unashamed to be a little messy.
There’s something sinful about it, but something that also feels so right- so correct.
Donghyuck adjusts slightly, and you feel a finger begin to gently circle your wet hole. He pushes just the tip in and you mewl from the sensation. Your husband takes your sound as an affirmation to continue, so he presses further inside of you, still moving slowly and gently to allow your body to adjust to the foreign intrusion.
You love how he’s taking his time with you, listening to your body and your cues.
It seems clear that he’s aware this is your first time with a man, and he’s not in some eager, self-gratifying rush to get to the part where he’s the one feeling good.
Soon he has a whole finger inside of you while he continues to suck on your clit, and he pumps the digit slowly, working you open in the most delightful way.
“Can I add another?” he asks, gently kissing your sensitive bud as he looks up at you.
“Yeah, I’m ready,” you nod, swallowing thickly.
Donghyuck returns to his task, licking at your clit to distract you from the stretch that comes with two fingers now slowly working into you.
He adjusts his hand again, crooking the digits up to hit a sweet spot inside of you that makes your toes curl.
“Oh my God-” you whimper, clutching at the sheets again.
“Feels good?” he asks.
“Feels amazing,” you confirm, eyes shut as you can enjoy the pleasure that’s coursing through you.
Donghyuck applies more pressure to the sweet spot inside of you, thrusting in an almost rhythmic fashion as he sucks harder on your clit.
You’re all consumed by the throbbing ecstasy that’s bubbling out from your core and into the entirety of your body.
“Do you think you might cum for me soon, Princess?” Donghyuck asks.
“I… I think so,” you nod, swallowing thickly.
“Take your time,” he assures you, “when the feeling hits, just let go for me.”
He continues to worship your pussy, licking and sucking and stroking and fingering- your toes begin to curl from the pleasure, and the feeling is building quickly in your abdomen.
You’re gasping now, panting and moaning, clutching at the bed desperately. “Hyuck-” you whimper.
He responds by sucking your clit even harder and your thighs move to close around him, but your husband pushes them open with his free hand. He finger fucks you even harder, and before you know it, the tension in your stomach is snapping.
A wave of euphoria unlike anything you’ve ever felt washes over you like a warm summer rain. You gasp loudly, pleasure throbbing out from your core and engulfing you.
Donghyuck doesn’t stop, he works you through it, ignoring the way your thighs are shaking around him, the way you’re clawing at the bed and crying out.
“Hyuck!” you whimper, finally unable to take any more of the pleasure-
Your husband pulls away from your core, and you hear him lick his lips, but you’re too exhausted to open your eyes.
He pulls away from your core. “You look good like this, Princess.”
You don’t even have the words to respond, chest heaving, heart racing-
The bed dips as he lays down next to you, and you feel him push some hair away from your face. His lips brush your cheek, his hand moving down to your breast, where he begins to massage your flesh.
“That might be enough for tonight,” he muses softly.
“What?” Your eyes snap open.
“You look pretty tired.”
“Hyuck,” you take a deep breath, “I… I need you to fuck me.”
He stares at you in shock. “I’ve never heard that word come from your mouth before, Princess, this must be pretty serious.”
“It is,” you insist, cupping his cheek. “Please.”
“If that’s what my Princess wants,” Donghyuck concedes with a grin. “I’ll go slowly, I promise.”
He gets up again, and you watch him take off his pants.
You’ve never seen a cock in real life before, and the way his springs up makes your mouth water.
He’s thick, and a decent size too, or so you assume. You lick your lips in anticipation as he gets back onto the bed with you.
He moves between your thighs, and your legs wrap around him instinctively, your hand cupping his cheek again.
You draw your lips to his as he begins to gently rut, his cock gliding between your soaked pussy lips with easy, teasing by your clit, but not entering you.
It’s as if he’s toying with you, and your patience runs thin very fast. “Please,” you whimper again.
“You got it, Princess.”
He grabs the base of his cock, adjusting so his tip can fully tease your hole now. He pushes in slightly and you grab his shoulders, squeezing and making him stop.
You can feel him watching your facial expressions as you get used to the largest intrusion you’ve ever had inside of you.
“Just breathe,” he tells you, bringing his lips to your throat in an effort to soothe.
“Okay,” you nod, “okay, deeper.”
He follows your instructions, gently pushing in another inch only to pause and wait for your affirmation to continue.
This continues for a few minutes, Donghyuck diligently taking his time and allowing you to acclimatize to his cock until he’s fully sheathed in your wet and throbbing core.
“Okay, okay,” you nod, breathing heavily. “You can move now.”
Donghyuck cups your cheek, kissing you softly as he begins to gently rock back and forth. Your pussy walls are getting used to the sensation, and the slick from your orgasm makes things very smooth as he gradually increases the intensity.
You begin to moan from the feeling of him, clawing at his shoulders again, kissing him desperately as he makes love to you in your wedding bed.
One of Donghyuck’s hands moves down to your thigh, hiking it higher on his hip. Suddenly he’s hitting a deep spot inside of you, making you cry out as your toes curl with pleasure.
“Good?” he asks, pressing kisses along your throat.
“Good,” you confirm, whimpering desperately.
“You’re so tight,” Donghyuck groans.
“Maybe you’re just big,” you counter, stifling a giggle.
It’s shocking how natural this feels- there’s no awkwardness with Donghyuck, after all, you might be newlyweds from an arranged marriage, but you’ve been friends for most of your lives. You couldn’t imagine a better man to be with, a better man to be taking care of you for your first time.
“Princess,” Donghyuck moans, “I… I don’t think I’m going to last very long.”
“How… how long do men usually last?” you ask.
Donghyuck chuckles. “It all depends, but- eating you out got me pretty worked up, and now your pussy is gripping me so fucking well-”
God, his words are sinful to a Princess like you, but they’re sinful in the best possible way, making your pussy flutter with pleasure.
You’re making this man come undone, as he’d made you cum, and that knowledge makes pride burn through you.
“Don’t try to last,” you tell him, cupping his face. “Let go.”
Donghyck stares at you for a moment before smashing his lips to yours. He grabs one of your hands and intertwines your fingers, pressing it to the pillow to use as leverage as he begins to fuck you even harder.
The whole bed is rocking by now, each powerful thrust making you mewl and whimper.
“Fuck, fuck-” Donghyuck groans, burying his face against your throat again. “Shit, I’m gonna cum-”
You hold him tightly, stroking his hair as his thrusts falter, a deep moan escaping his lips.
You can feel the unfamiliar sensation of something filling up your core, and you wrap your legs tighter around his hips, keeping him locked inside of you as he fills you with his release.
He’s groaning and gasping in your ear and it’s one of the most erotic sounds you’ve ever heard.
You can sense when he’s come down from his high, but you continue to hold him, your chests pressed together, racing hearts beating as one.
This man is your husband, and you know he’ll take care of you. It’s a different life path laid out before you than you’d perhaps imagined when you were younger, but you know that as long as you’re with Lee Donghyuck, everything will be just fine.

You don’t know where else to turn.
It’s been on your mind for a while— this fantasy. This game. You don’t know why, or how, and you’d never, ever admit it, but it plagues your thoughts, day after day, haunting your dreams night after night without respite. You’re too ashamed to even say it.
You never told any of your previous partners; you’d hint, maybe, suggesting weaker, milder things to nudge them the right direction, but they always shied away, got scared about three miles south of what you actually wanted, and ran screaming. You know it’s wrong. If anything, the fact that they ran away should have been a green flag. But it wasn’t. Not to you.
You make the account around 3am. Your username is nondescript, profile photo grainy and blurred, showing just enough to attract someone who might be able to do this for you. You write the post with trembling hands; the words come easier to you than you’ll ever admit.
I want to be forced. I want to be raped. I want to be punished for resisting. I imagine a stranger, maybe one I’d only seen in passing. He can’t get enough of me. He needs me. He’ll have me. He follows me wherever I’m going, lying in wait. It doesn’t matter how much I resist. I’m going to be his. He. Will. Have. Me.
As expected, your phone is blown up by the time you check it. Hundreds of old, gross, sleazy men desperate to get a taste of your — shudder — young pussy, as one called it. You hadn’t given a specific age, just that you’re in your 20s, but they all seem content to run with the idea of you being on the lower end, rather than the higher. Perverts.
You scroll through the messages. each one confirming the rational part of your brain that says this is a stupid, dangerous idea and you should forget you ever even had it.
It’s the one at the bottom that stops you. Sent not long after you’d gone to sleep, but they’d liked the post almost instantly. The profile picture is like yours — grainy, blurred, but suggesting a toned, young-ish, large body — and he too is in his 20s, if he’s telling the truth. His message is short and respectful— a breath of fresh air.
youknowme: Nice post. Do you really want that, or do you just like imagining it?
You bite your lip. You don’t know why, but this person feels… different. Exciting. You want to know more.
rosedepths: i really want it. can you give it to me?
youknowme: I could. Would you take it all?
You chuckle— you know what he means, but you figure you’ll have some fun. See if he’s expecting a sweet, scared little doe who’ll be quick to submit; or if he’s expecting a fight. If he’s expecting you.
rosedepths: nope.
The typing button appears and disappears a few times. You assume he doesn’t like your response, and he’s not as exciting a match as you’d hoped, until his next message comes through.
youknowme: Yes, you will.
Oh, fuck. You feel yourself leaking as you read it over and over. You’re desperate to know more.
rosedepths: have you done this before? raping a stranger?
youknowme: I hope you’re talking about CNC, Rose. If you are, then yes. I have.
rosedepths: you any good at it?
youknowme: I’ve subdued much feistier things than you. I can give you what you’re asking for. Do you want it?
The need in your stomach is so profound you think you could keel over. You’ve never found it easier to type something out.
rosedepths: yes.
You talk until you sleep, and you’re optimistic about this guy. He’s careful and meticulous with your kinks and limits, guiding you through the details while still retaining the mystery and allure you’re craving. Despite your protests, he insists on a safeword, but assures you that that’s ‘the only thing in the world that will stop him.’
As you become more familiar with this site, designed solely for this purpose it seems, you see this man is… popular. To say the least. He even has what looks like a review section from other women he’s fucked and oh, there’s pictures. Not of him— but of the deep bruises and stinging cuts he’s left behind. You click through the reviews, pupils dilating the longer you stare the screen down.
He fucked me so good.
He put me in my place.
He’s brutal.
No one’s ever made me cry like that. Or cum.
When he proposes a meeting, you don’t think twice.
By the time next Friday rolls around, the knot in your stomach is a constant; it follows you around, heavy and aching as it trails behind every step. You know it’s just nerves, excitement, the thrill of knowing you’re about to do something very, very wrong. But some part of you does wonder if it’s doubt— are you being stupid? Is this a bad idea? Well, yes. You are and it is. But is it… too bad? You don’t know. As the clock ticks slowly towards your ‘appointment’, you feel more and more anxious to find out.
You clock out at 5, hurrying down the stairs of your office building to dash home. You’d prepared your bag already, shaved this morning and placed your fanciest, laciest set of lingerie under your work clothes. You take a second to freshen up, touch up your makeup and dump your work bag on your bed before you’re hurrying out the door again.
The hotel he’d booked is downtown, shiny and new and well beyond your price range. You wonder for a moment what this man does for work. Your knowledge of him is very, very limited— by design, of course. This whole game, this whole exercise hinges on him being a total stranger. But still, you can’t help but be curious. The one clue you have is the name the room was booked under— Yunho. You must have said it to yourself a thousand times; trying it out, the sound, the feeling. It tastes tantalising on your tongue and you’re bubbling with need by the time you make it to your room.
You hesitate when you reach the door. He’d told you he’d arrive later, at an undetermined time, but you can’t help but wonder. Is he in there, lying in wait? Will you open the door to find him sat on the bed, or hidden behind a corner, or, your heart races at the thought, right there on the other side? You breathe, in, out, in, out. You can do this. There’s nothing you could find on the other side of the door that you wouldn’t beg for another day.
You’re almost disappointed when you walk into the room to find it totally empty. You check the bathroom, the corners, the cupboards, half hoping to find him looming there, waiting to strike. But you don’t. You sigh, sitting down on the bed and sliding off your shoes. You’re not really sure what to do now. You suppose you could touch yourself, you doubt he’d blame you for being excited, but over the past few days, without realising you’ve found yourself almost saving yourself for him; each time your hands had wandered down there, you’d stopped yourself. He’ll take care of it.
Sighing, you decide to turn on the TV, flicking lazily through the channels until you find something that entertains you until he arrives.
With every unexplained noise, every creaking of a neighbour’s door, you look up eagerly, hoping to see Yunho looming in the doorway. But you don’t. Hours go by, your hope fading more and more, until you accept that he’s just not coming tonight. Tomorrow, maybe. You hope.
By the time you’re ready to sleep, you’ve passed several hours in front of the mindless reality show you ended up settling on. Trying to ignore the crushing disappointment that Yunho hasn’t shown up today, and the fear that he never will, you turn the TV off and settle into the sheets.
He’ll come tomorrow. He has to.
Eyes adjusting to the darkness, you make yourself comfortable in the cool, fresh sheets. The only sounds in the quiet room are your slow, steady breaths and the low hum of the air-conditioning. As your eyes begin to droop, you feel yourself relaxing into the memory foam, wondering and hoping he’ll be there when you wake up…
Click.
There’s a hand on your mouth. The lights are on.
Your eyes snap open and your body jolts, adrenaline flowing instantly. The hand is large, covering your mouth and nose and you can’t breathe.
As you adjust to the light you get a good look at him, and you’re so shocked that for a moment you forget you’re supposed to struggle. Yunho is gorgeous. Fading blue hair, dark enough to seem black from a distance; features gentle, eyes dangerous and all blending perfectly together. He’s wearing a white shirt and pinstripe waistcoat that struggles against a broad, toned chest that seems to be trying to escape and his large hands are covered by a pair of thick, leather gloves.
Fuck. You’d beg for this man any other day, happily and eagerly. But you can’t do that now. You have to fight. You thrash against him, legs flailing but his body holds you down, pinning you in place and oh, he’s large, too. He could incapacitate you now and be done with it, but it seems he wants to play.
“Well, aren’t you sweet.”
His voice is low and rough and addictive, dripping with want and danger. He stares you down, eyes narrowed, blank, burning.
“Gonna be a good girl for me?”
The pressure of his hand has eased enough for you to breathe and you lie still for a moment, gauging your next move. You nod, slowly. I’ll be good.
He smiles, not really believing you, and then his hands are off you. For one second, they’re off of you and you take your chance— you jump up and bolt out of the bed, dashing in the direction of the door. You hear him curse, but you know he’d chosen this room, large enough to practically count as a suite, specifically to give you more room to run. And run you do; you’re still half-asleep — you’re not quite sure if you did fall asleep, in the end, or if he got to you just as you were drifting off — but the adrenaline pumping through your veins is enough to carry your feet towards the exit.
You hear him on your tail but he’s not running— no, his steps are leisurely, like he knows he’s going to catch you and is merely amused by your idea that it would end any other way.
He lets you get to the door and pull it halfway open, just enough to think you’ll make it out into the hall, before it slams shut in your face, only just missing your fingers where they’d lingered in the doorway. Then there’s strong arms on your body, slamming you with full force, your body colliding painfully with the heavy wood. You struggle pitifully in his hold and as the lock clicks shut above you, you hear the barely restrained anger in his voice.
“And where the fuck are you going, bitch?” He growls. He grabs your hair and tugs your head backwards, sending a painful sting through your scalp then slams your head back against the door. “You tryna get away, pretty girl?”
You grunt, pushing back against him as hard as you can, but with his firm grip on you all you manage to do is push your ass back against his crotch. He groans, the grip on your hair tightening. “Fucking tease,” he mutters. “Bet you’re wet already.”
He spins you around, holding you by the neck against the door, his body caging you in as his other hand roams across your breasts, squeezing them just short of painfully. You struggle fruitlessly but you’re completely trapped and you know it.
You feel his knee nudging at your closed legs, clenched together to keep him away from your heat as if it’s not aching for him already. “Open,” he says.
“Never.”
“Fine.” His leg draws back and lands a kick between your knees and you yelp, legs forced apart; he shoves his thigh into the gap, holding your legs open and your pussy exposed as his hand runs up your bare thigh and slips beneath the silk slip you curse yourself for wearing to bed. Could you have made this any easier for him?
His fingers tease the edge of your cotton panties, pulling it back and slapping the elastic against your skin and all you can do is stay in place, held under his weight as he toys with you. But you’re not done and this isn’t over. You’re just biding your time. You just need an opportunity; a moment of carelessness for you to slip away.
He runs a finger softly across your covered pussy, and the smug expression on his face tells you exactly what he finds there.
“For someone who doesn’t want this,” he says, “you’re awfully fucking wet.”
“Fuck you,” you spit.
He’s quick to react; a heavy slap lands on your face, turning your head forcefully to the side and leaving a lingering ache.
“Wet and mouthy,” he says. “I wonder how quickly you’ll break.”
Your stomach twists but you give nothing away; you’re enjoying the back and forth, the game, too much to give up yet, no matter how desperately you want him to just fuck you alrady.
“I’ll never fucking break,” you snap.
“Oh, you’ll break.” He leans in closer, enough for you to feel his breath on your face as he speaks. “They always do.”
You can hear your heart beating wildly, pounding against your ribs and your breath stutters. “And if I don’t?”
“If you don’t…” He lets the words hang in the air, gaze flickering across your shivering form. His mouth curls into a thin smile. “I’ll just have to hurt you real, real bad.”
You swallow thickly, tension caught in your throat. You wish that didn’t sound so enticing.
“Now,” he says. “Open your mouth.”
You force yourself to laugh, amused despite your terror by the notion that you’d just give in and obey. You purse your lips, sealing your mouth shut— directly defiant. His eyes flash and his hand tightens around your throat, cutting off your airflow as he presses down on the sides of your neck. You manage to hold out for a few seconds until you feel your eyes bulge and you gasp, mouth opening in a desperate bid for air. He loosens his grip, grabbing your chin and pushing his thumb in just far enough to hold your mouth open for him to spit into it. The saliva lands on your tongue and he pushes your mouth closed, pressing his hand over your mouth and nose again. “Swallow.”
Knowing he won’t let you breathe until you do, you swallow the spit; it feels disgusting and degrading sliding down your throat but the humiliation burns with pleasure and you’re desperate for more.
“Good girl,” he smiles. “Not that hard to listen, is it?”
You scowl, squirming under his hold. Yes, it is that hard. You manage to wring your arms free enough to grab at his arm, trying to pull his hand off of your face. In the panic one of your nails digs into his forearm and he growls, pulling you forward just to slam you backwards again. Your ears are ringing and his hand is pressed even tighter across your mouth and nose.
“Disobedient little bitch,” he hisses, “you want me to fuck you up?”
Yes, fuck, please, your mind says. But you keep that on the inside, and instead of begging or submitting or doing any of the things your body is screaming and pleading for you to do, you bite down. You bite down hard.
The taste of blood is a small victory as he shouts, snatching his hand away from you but this time he doesn’t give you the chance to get away; you make it a few steps before he grabs your wrists, clutching them easily in his injured hand, forcing them behind you back and twisting them painfully to hold you in place so he can backhand you again— and again, and again. You scream in pain, but if he notices, he doesn’t care. His expression is livid, eyes black and burning with rage. “Fucking. Little. Bitch.” Each word is punctuated by a hard slap, knocking the wind out of you over and over.
“Someone needs to put you in your fucking place,” he growls. “Dumb little sex slave.”
The word hits you somewhere deep, stomach twisting into knots as wetness pools. Slave. Fuck.
“I’m not your fucking sex slave,” you bite back and he laughs.
“You don’t know what the fuck you are. Stop squirming.” He twists your arms a little further, teetering on the edge of too far. You whine, straining against him and he cooes. “Hurts, baby?”
“Yes it fucking hurts,” you snap.
He snorts, amused. His eyes darken again as he leans in closer. “Any more attitude and I’ll fucking break them.”
You can’t help the gasp that escapes you, fear pushing through your veins again. His grip on your arms is iron and you know he could snap them with ease. But would he really? You say nothing, staring up at him with wide, pleading eyes. He grins.
“Don’t think I won’t,” he laughs. “I’ll break every bone in your body if it’ll keep you pliant.”
“I’ll do it one by one,” he continues. His grip on your wrists tightens again but he doesn’t twist any further; still toeing the line. “Nice and slow so you feel it all,” he smiles, and you know he’s imagining it as he speaks. You wish you could say you weren’t. “Let you hear the crack of each bone snapping in half until you’re completely destroyed. You’d like that, wouldn’t you?”
You shake your head, voice quivering. “No.”
“Good.”
You scowl, squirming again to show your displeasure. “Let me go, Yunho.”
He hadn’t told you what to call him, but you decide to take a gamble that he doesn’t want you using his name and you’re right— he grabs your neck, pressing down hard enough to make you dizzy. “Call me that again,” he hisses, “and I’ll slit your fucking throat. Got it?”
You catch the whimper before it leaves your throat but you can’t stop your pussy from leaking even more than it already was. You didn’t know you could be so terrified or so horny. But you’re not giving up yet.
“You call me sir,” he says, “is that clear?”
You smile thinly. “Yes, sir,” you say, so sweet and polite that he sees right through it. He raises an eyebrow, waiting for your next move and it comes in the form of a wad of spit, landing like a bullet between his eyes.
Then you’re on the bed. You’re landing on the bed, shoved down and he’s crawling over you, holding you down with his weight and— there’s a knife on your throat.
Your eyes widen, all your blood rushing to your head at once. A knife… he’d never mentioned a knife. On your profile you’d said you were open to knife play, but he was so meticulous when he went through all the kinks he was planning that you thought… Well, you didn’t think he’d have a knife.
“Oh, that got your attention, didn’t it?” He grins. There’s a fire, a dangerous gleam in his eyes that hadn’t been there before and you feel it in the deepest parts of your body. You feel something else, too, and it burns just as brightly as your arousal. As he presses the knife down just enough to sting, you realise you are genuinely, truly afraid of Yunho. And yet…
Yunho sees it too; “fucking gushing,” he spits. “You’re more sick than I am. Don’t act like a victim now.”
You whine, squirming slightly and he hums thoughtfully.
“Or do,” he decides. “Actually, I’m sort of hoping you don’t do what I tell you. I’d love to watch the light leave your eyes when you finally stop struggling.”
Your breath hitches, caught in your throat. You don’t… you don’t know how you feel about this. You knew he’d be intense; the reviews had painted a clear picture of just how much he feeds off of fear. But there’s a wild, uncontrolled look in his eyes as he threatens your life so casually, so smoothly, that makes you wonder…
No. You know it’s fake. It’s all fake. You know it’s just a game and you know he’d stop if you said the safe word he gave you. But the knife at your neck is real. The darkness in his eyes is real. The fear is real. And he sees it in your eyes, his lips twitching into a small smile as though he can tell the exact moment you accept it. “Good girl,” he purrs. “Are you ready to listen?”
You say nothing, glowering up at him. He smiles, tilting his head.
“Open your mouth.”
Fuck no. This isn’t over. You meet his eyes with your mouth firmly, resoundingly shut. You purse your lips for good measure, determined to disobey.
His hand collides with your face again; the back of it, this time, and the feeling of his knuckles against your cheek makes you cry out before you can stop yourself. He seizes the opportunity of your parted lips and plunges two gloved fingers into your mouth. You choke, spluttering and he tuts, looking disappointed. Even with fingers in your throat, you feel like a naughty, scolded child beneath his firm gaze.
“See,” he says, his voice low, “I could make this so much worse for you. It’s in your best interest to do what I tell you.”
His fingers push in deeper and you feel the bile rising; you thrash and panic in his hold and he snorts, finally easing up. As you gasp for breath, he pulls his fingers away, a string of drool following him from your mouth and coating his fingers. He wipes them down on his pressed pants, looking disgusted. “Fucking mutt,” he spits. “Let’s put you to good use.”
Before you can register what’s happening, his dick is pushing into your mouth and fuck he’s massive. You can hardly hold him in your throat and your vision blurs with tears even before he starts to move— when he does, he wastes no time starting slow; he goes straight to fucking your mouth with hard, deep thrusts and you feel your tears and saliva cascading down onto your chest. You must look disgusting, but you’ve never heard anyone sound as feral as he does.
Just as you’re getting used to the feeling, he pulls out. His cock slaps against your face before he flips you over, bending you painfully over the edge of the bed. He doesn’t waste time prepping you — not that he needs to with the way you’re dripping — before forcing himself into your tight hole. You scream, feeling yourself being torn apart and he laughs, pushing your head into the mattress. “Fucking bitch,” he growls. His low voice is barely heard above the slapping of his skin on yours and the lewd squelching of your sopping pussy. You burn with humiliation but you can hardly think of anything but the pain of being stretched open and the force of his thrusts. You sob into the sheets but he doesn’t care, only getting rougher each time you cry out.
“Take it,” he barks, “you’ve been waiting for this dick your entire fucking life. So fucking take it.”
“S-sir,” you gasp. You thrash as much as you can under his iron grip, dizzy with pain and pleasure.
He snarls, hand landing hard on your ass. “Drop the act, bitch,” he growls. “I know you fucking love this. Clench.”
Still sobbing, you do your best to obey, clenching your pussy around his dick and it sends a jolt of electricity through your body. He groans, movement stuttering slightly under the new pressure on his dick.
“Fuck,” he grunts. “Such a pretty little victim. With a tight fucking hole.”
You feel his orgasm approaching; all the pent-up energy and frustration of fighting and subduing you pulsing through his dick as it pounds against your walls. His grip tightens on your waist, other arm coming to wrap around your neck, holding you in a chokehold as he finally releases inside you.
He grunts and moans through his orgasm and you feel the warmth of his cum filling you up before he finally collapses on top of you, pulling out quickly.
“Good girl,” he breathes. “It’s over, baby.”
The dam breaks. Your low, desperate sobs give way to full blown weeping, your whole body shivering with each cry. A million emotions, previously drowned out by pain and fear and pleasure, are suddenly at the surface, pushing against your skin and desperate to break through. You couldn’t name or number them if you tried but you don’t have to, because Yunho is there— his hands are on your skin, voice in your ear as he soothes you with whispered words you can’t comprehend.
“I’ve got you,” you finally make out. He says it again and again, over and over. It forms a familiar rhythm you can follow and cling to as you come back down to earth.
I’ve got you.
I’ve got you.
I’ve got you.
He’s there when the fog clears, cradling your aching body in his arms. His smile is soft and fond but there’s a concern in his eyes as he looks you up and down. “How do you feel?” He asks.
You open your mouth but no words come; you make a soft, content-sounding noise, the best you can do for now, and he chuckles. “I’ll take that as ‘you’re fine’, then.”
He shifts slightly, adjusting you to hold you closer to his chest. You follow his heartbeat as it thuds lowly in his chest. You hadn’t expected this, really; he’d said aftercare was a non-negotiable for him, so you knew he wasn’t going to just fuck you and dip, but the care and tenderness with which he cradles and soothes you is almost as electric as the brutality of before. It’s as funny as it was, you suppose, inevitable— this man has violated you in every way, and yet you’ve never felt more safe than you do in his arms. Two separate faces; opposing but inseparable.
A while later, he asks if he can give you a bath and you nod. You’re strangely embarrassed as he lowers you into the hot water, quietly soothing you when you hiss as it touches the wounds on your ass and thighs; maybe it’s the tenderness of his care or the knowledge that every mark on your body was put there by him, but you feel oddly exposed.
Still, he’s careful as he holds you still, letting your aching joints soak as he cleanses you of the remnants of what he just did to you. When he lifts you out, wrapping you in a soft towel and carrying you back to bed, you feel like you’re floating on a cloud.
Your voice returns soon enough, and quickly something pushes through to the front of your mind. Still slightly in the haze of subspace as the last drops of adrenaline dissipate, it seems like a reasonable, if not pertinent question.
“Yunho,” you say. He makes a ‘hm?’ noise, squeezing your thigh in recognition. “Would you really have broken my bones?”
He laughs, and you feel his body shaking slightly. It feels… warm. Familiar. “No,” he says. “That’s just part of the game. My favourite part, actually.”
“What part?”
“Making you wonder if it’s really a game.”
Through the aching pain of your pussy, you feel a slight twinge, making you clench unconsciously. Oh.
“You had a safeword,” he says. “So I knew I could push you. But I didn’t do anything I wasn’t sure would make your little pussy throb.”
You can’t help but blush at his words, mewling slightly as you snuggle further into his hold. You could stay like this, wrapped in his strong arms and held securely against his chest, for a long, long time. You wonder if he could, too.
“Yunho,” you say softly.
“Will you stay?”
You glance at him nervously, afraid of his answer. He smiles, holding you closer. “As long as you need,” he says.

Prologue:
It’s been a long shift, and you feel on top of the world as you finally head to the back of the club to do your tip-out. Your fanny pack is full of cash, and you’re already considering different places that would be open at this time of night where you can go and grab a quick post-shift meal. You’re hoping Wonwoo is up for something, as you’ve begun to enjoy yourself more and more when you hang out with the bartender.
You wouldn’t say he’s your boyfriend, not yet, but there’s a potential with him that makes you excited to come to work on nights when you’re both scheduled.
You’ve been in the business long enough to know that relationships with coworkers in the service industry can get… well, messy, but you’re hoping that the hot, quiet bartender will be worth your time.
There’s a late-night ramen place by your apartment, and as you push through the door to the back of house, you think Wonwoo might like a bowl of noodles now that your shifts are over.
You’re walking down the hallway, tired, head in the clouds- you’re hardly thinking as you make your way to the staff room- and then, you stop dead in your tracks.
Your brain hardly registers the sight in front of you, and before you can so much as take a breath, Wonwoo is pulling away from the coworker he was just kissing.
The two stare at you, and the girl has more of a conscience than him, immediately starting to explain herself. “Doll,” she says, using the name you give clients at work, “it’s not how it looks-”
Wonwoo, in contrast, stays dead silent, staring at you without a hint of emotion in his sleepy eyes.
Your heart is thumping in your chest, and you take a deep breath. “I’m going to cashout somewhere else,” you whisper, turning to leave the staff room.
You can deal with this later- right now, you just want to finish up and clock out.
It feels like the room is spinning as you head to the lockers, where a small table provides staff space to eat. You take out your cash slip, quickly slotting in your numbers from the night.
“Are you mad?” Wonwoo’s voice behind you makes you jump, heart leaping again.
“What?”
“Are you mad I was kissing someone else?” he clarifies.
You can’t help the scoff that escapes you. “Is that really a question?”
“We’re not official,” he states.
“You’re right, we’re not.” You sigh deeply, reaching into your fanny pack to pull out cash. “Here’s your tipout.”
You shove the money against his chest, and Wonwoo looks down at it, then up at you. “Are we good?”
“We’re not good,” you tell him firmly.
“Listen,” Wonwoo lets out a breath as you head to the lockers to gather your things. “It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s just, bottle girls are bottle girls, and… things take forever with you.”
“What?” You turn to face him.
“You know, flirting for months, finally taking you out, getting you in bed…” he slowly breaks off.
“Is this about the fact that I can’t cum easily? Are you serious?” You can feel your voice beginning to raise, and you do your best to calm down, this is not the place to be discussing your sex life.
“You’re just… I thought you’d be more fun, you know? Like the other bottle girls I’ve been with.”
“And I thought you’d be less of a fucking asshole,” you tell him, grabbing your jacket.
Wonwoo is staring at you with a stunned expression, and you leave him like that, hurrying back the way you came. It’s end of the night at the club, patrons have gone, bartenders are closing up, bouncers are putting away chairs.
You stop at the bar to tip out a few more people, and as you’re heading to the door, you notice Seungcheol approaching. He’s a dark haired, beefy bouncer, and you’re friendly with him, although he’s generally quite serious when he’s at work.
“You heading home?” Seungcheol asks.
“Yup.”
“Is Wonwoo going with you?”
“Nope.”
Seungcheol’s steps falter before he follows you out the front door of the club. “I’ll walk you to your car,” he tells you.
“I’m good.”
“Shit can be dangerous after the club closes,” Seungcheol muses. “You girls carry a lot of cash in those fanny packs of yours, and scumbags know it.”
You sigh, not having the energy to fight the bouncer on this. Things are quiet as he takes you to your car, and you’re kind of glad he doesn’t push you for any details. You know you’re exuding negative energy, a stark contrast to the way you’d been when you’d settled up to head to the back of house just a few minutes ago.
Seungcheol can read people, it’s one of the reasons he’s such a good bouncer, but he respects you enough not to pry, and you appreciate that.
He watches you get into your car, nodding to himself. “Have a good night, Doll.”
“You too, big guy,” you sigh.
Seungcheol closes your door gently for you, and as soon as he’s stepped away, you pull out of the staff parking lot. A few blocks away, you park, taking a deep breath and allowing your emotions to wash over you.
You feel stupid that you’d trusted Wonwoo, stupid that you’d thought maybe things would go somewhere with him.
From now on, you’re going to just focus on work.
The service industry is no place to find a partner.
Tumblr media
One:
It’s been a year since you caught Wonwoo kissing someone else, and since then, you’ve really focused on your job. Wonwoo is no longer a bartender at your club, and the girl he’d made out with had left shortly after the altercation.
While the club still holds some negative feelings for you, you’ve been doing your best to push through. Money has been good, and with a fresh focus on service, you’ve become the top bottle service girl. VIP’s come just for you, and you’re used to being a little flirty to make cash.
Jeonghan and Joshua are businessmen who come in frequently, and they always ask to sit in your section.
They’re a developer and real estate agent double team, although sometimes you get confused about which one does what. They’re celebrating a recent triumph, with Joshua drunkenly explaining to you how ‘the house went through escrow, no contingencies, and now we’re smooth sailing, Doll!’
They’ve been drinking a lot, racking up a tab, paying for other people’s alcohol- these men know how to party, and you know how to keep a smiling face with endless enthusiasm for their ability to spend money.
“Have you ever thought about getting into real estate?” Jeonghan asks you. “Businessmen love it when a pretty girl is showing them around a big house, it’s part of the dream of what they could really acquire if they buy a property.”
“Can’t say I’ve considered it,” you smile.
“You’d make a killing,” Joshua agrees, leaning forward. “I’d love to have you on my team.”
“I appreciate that,” you admit. “I’m very happy where I am right now.”
“What if,” Jeonghan grins broadly, “I give you this…” He pulls out his wallet, plucking out two hundred dollar bills before sneaking them into the band of your fanny pack, “and you tell us you’ll consider the offer.”
“I’ll consider it,” you laugh, playing into their drunkenness. Considering an offer for two hundred dollars never means you have to follow through.
“That’s our girl,” Joshua chuckles.
“Our Doll,” Jeonghan agrees, his hand slipping down from your fanny pack to your thigh, exposed by your short black dress-
There’s a flash of movement, and suddenly, someone is gripping Jeonghan’s wrist. “No touching,” Seungcheol’s deep voice reminds the VIP.
Jeonghan is shocked for a moment, the emotion written all over his face. “Right, sorry, my bad.” He tears his hand away from the bouncer. “Sorry, Doll, I got carried away.”
“That’s alright,” you assure them, trying to save face with two of your biggest spenders. “I’ll be back with that round of drinks for you.”
As you turn to leave the table, you pull Seungcheol with you, taking him down to the bar before you’re able to have a discussion. “Cheol-”
“I’m sorry if I stepped in a little quickly,” he tells you immediately. “They’ve been eying you all night, like they do every night, and I just…”
“No, it’s fine, he shouldn’t have touched me, I’m glad you were there.”
“I hope this doesn’t affect your tip or anything,” Seungcheol sighs.
“I’ll be fine,” you assure him. “I appreciate you being there.”
He’s really stepped up in the past year. Not only is he protective of you, but he’s protective of every bottle girl. There’d been a time before him where things hadn’t felt so safe, but with Cheol in the room every night, there have been significantly less incidences of violence from when the bar had first opened, or so you’ve heard.
He’s a good man, and he hires others of a similar caliber. All the bottle girls feel safe with Seungcheol and Mingyu at the door, and that sense of safety helps you all feel more comfortable at tables, leading to bigger and better tips.
Tumblr media
Two:
You’re done cashing out for the night, and you meet Seungcheol at the door of the club. Mingyu takes over for him while the head bouncer walks you to your car, a system that’s made everyone feel safer in the past year.
“How was your night?” Seungcheol asks.
“It was good, after you checked Jeonghan, he felt bad, so they ended up tipping me out fifty percent of their bill.”
“That’s good,” he nods.
“If it weren’t for the tips, I don’t know what I’d do,” you laugh.
“It’s not a bad way to make a living,” the bouncer agrees.
“Did you know, Crystal, the new girl, she has a complete doctorate in psychology, but she makes more here as a bottle girl than by being a therapist?”
“Makes sense why the mental health in this country is trash, the government needs to pay therapists more or something.”
You laugh at Seungcheol’s words. It’s true, a lot of very important jobs are becoming less desirable due to shit pay. “I’m still shocked that I can come in for a night and make most of my rent in tips,” you admit. “With Christmas coming up, people are dropping the big bucks, feeling charitable.”
“Just be careful, people are more drunk these days too.”
“True, they are more drunk,” you admit thoughtfully, “but I don’t have to be very careful when I have you walking around making sure nothing bad will happen.”
Seungcheol laughs as he opens your car door for you, helping you into your vehicle. “I’m glad I can make you feel safe,” he tells you.
“Me too, Cheol.”
Tumblr media
Three:
It’s New Year’s Eve and you’ve got numerous tables of big spenders. Woozi and Seokmin are regulars, with the latter of the two having somewhat of an obvious crush on you. Normally, they’re pretty respectable, with Seokmin even being known to be a huge blusher. The poor man stutters sometimes when he talks to you, and you’ve never had any trouble with them.
But tonight… well, they’ve been here for hours, and you’re realizing that tonight might be the night you have to cut someone off.
The two men order a round of shots just before midnight, and you head to talk to your manager about it.
“Vernon, may I?” you ask, coming to stand next to your newest manager.
“What’s up, Doll?” he asks, looking up from his iPad.
“My table seventy, Seokmin and Woozi. They’re regulars, usually pretty good, but they’ve ordered a lot of drinks in the past half hour or so. Seokmin in particular has been swaying for the past five minutes. They just ordered another round, and I know it’s about to be midnight on New Years, but I think we need to cut them off.”
Vernon nods, and you watch him look over toward your table. “How much have they had?”
You pull out your own iPad, showing your manager the tab that the two men have collected over the past two or so hours.
“I agree, I think we should cut Seokmin off. He’s had three or four more shots than Woozi, so I think we’ll just respectfully go talk to him.”
“I’ll follow your lead,” you sigh, hating to have to do this.
The two of you take deep breaths before walking over to the table where Seokmin and Woozi are seated.
“Hello, gentlemen,” Vernon starts, plastering on a fake smile. “I’m Vernon, I’m the manager here.” He reaches out a hand, introducing himself to the two men. “Unfortunately, based on how much the two of you have had to drink tonight, the bar has decided to cut you off.”
“What?!” Seokmin bellows, eyes going wide.
“We take our liquor license very seriously here,” Vernon says, his tone lowering to have a regretful edge. “I know you guys are regulars, and I’m sorry I have to do this, but we just have to cut you off.”
Seokmin is very pouty and after a minute, you realize Vernon’s forgetting something. You don’t want to have to remind him of policy in front of guests, but you also don’t want him to head off without finishing this interaction completely, so you step forward. “Seokmin? May I ask how you got here tonight?” You know very well that he drove his sportscar.
“The mustang,” he frowns.
Vernon picks up on your line of questioning immediately. “I’m afraid we’ll also have to ask for your keys.”
Seokmin looks like it’s the end of the world as he pulls out the keys from his suit pocket. “This is the worst,” he groans.
“I hate to be this person,” Vernon sighs again, “but we’ll also have to ask you to vacate the premises.”
“What?!” Seokmin bellows. “But midnight is in ten minutes! Can’t I just stay for ten more minutes!?”
“Seokmin,” Woozi’s voice interrupts his friends dramatics. “We know how licensing works, they’re just doing their jobs. I told you to pace yourself, and here we are. I think you should go home, make things easy on Doll and her manager.”
“We can call you a taxi,” you offer, trying to send a warm smile toward the drunken Seokmin.
“I’m being a burden,” Seokmin whines, hiding his face in his hands. “I’m sorry, Doll, I’m sorry, Woozi-”
“It’s okay,” Woozi pats his friend’s back. “I’m sure me and Doll won’t hold it against you.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it,” you promise.
“I’ll take his tab,” Woozi tells you. “He should just get home.”
“Now you’re taking my tab?! I’m a burden and you’re a great friend!” Seokmin bellows, hugging the intense man next to him.
“Get out of here,” Woozi says, and there’s a fond smile on his face as he pats his friend’s back.
“Okay, I’m sorry for the trouble,” Seokmin apologizes again.
He stands up, and you notice immediately that he’s a little wobbly. “Let me help you outside,” you offer.
“We’ll both help,” Vernon says, and the two of you each grab one of Seokmin’s arms as he wobbles toward the front door.
It’s a packed club tonight, with many choosing your location as a spot to celebrate New Year's. The bouncers are quite busy with the door, but Seungcheol comes over the moment he notices you and Vernon struggling with a very drunken Seokmin.
“Vernon!” another bottle girl, Candy, has shown up too. “I need your help!”
“Shit,” your manager cusses. “Cheol, can you handle this?”
“I want to make sure he’s okay,” you step in. As much as your patrons are a way to make big tips, you do care about your regulars, and you know Seokmin would be happier having you there instead of some scary bouncer.
“Okay, I’ll make sure your section is covered for a few minutes,” Vernon nods before hurrying away with Crystal.
“I’m sorry,” Seokmin mumbles as Seungcheol takes over his right side, helping you drag the man out of the club.
“It’s okay,” you assure him. “Just take a few breaths.”
The three of you stop by the curb, and Seungcheol looks around. “I’ll find a cab.”
Seokmin is standing for all of one minute before he collapses to the ground, slipping right from your grasp as he pukes onto the road in front of you.
“Fuck,” you mutter. You’re not sure what he ate today, maybe nothing, but if you’d had realized his tolerance tonight of all nights would be this bad, you would have cut him off ages ago.
You lean down, rubbing Seokmin’s back. “It’s okay,” you tell him, “let it out.”
You take care of him while Seungcheol grabs him a ride, running inside to get a bag for him incase Seokmin pukes again. Then, the two of you help the poor man into the car, with Seungcheol talking Seokmin through his address.
“Thank you for taking care of me,” Seokmin moans, pulling out his wallet. “Here.” He shoves a few hundred dollar bills at you and Seungcheol.
“Just get home safe,” you tell him, accepting the money.
Seokmin can only groan, rolling his window up as the cab pulls away from the curb.
You release a deep sigh, turning to Seungcheol. “Here,” you give him half the money, but Seungcheol holds up a hand.
“That’s yours, Doll,” he sighs. “I didn’t do much.”
You open your mouth to argue, and that’s when there’s a loud boom. You look up to see fireworks, and you realize, you’re next to Seungcheol, and the clock has just struck twelve on New Years Eve.
Your eyes shift to the bouncer, realizing how close you’re standing.
He looks so pretty tonight, all big and steady- the fireworks reflecting off his dark eyes.
You swallow the lump in your throat, wrapping your arms around yourself to counter the cold of the evening.
There’s a connection between the two of you, and you’ve felt it for a few months, but now, in this exact situation, you know that every fiber of your being wants this man to kiss you.
“We should uh…” you notice Seungcheol’s gaze dip to your lips, his voice faltering, “we should head inside, you look cold.”
“Right, yeah.” You have to give your head a shake to focus again. “Thanks for the help.”
“Don’t mention it.”
The two of you go back into the club and as you begin to serve the VIP tables again, you realize that despite the head shake, you can’t get Seungcheol out of your mind.

Four:
“How’d your night go?” Seungcheol asks a few days later as he walks you to your car after a shift.
“Went alright,” you sigh. “Lots of people are doing the whole ‘Dry January’ thing, but my VIPs are pretty consistent with tips and orders.”
“That’s good,” Seungcheol nods.
“Did you hear about the staff Christmas party in a few days?” you ask.
“Uh huh.”
“Are you going?”
“I’ll be there. You?”
“I’m going.”
The two of you reach your car and you turn to look at Seungcheol.
The moment on New Years is fresh on your mind, in fact, it’s been practically all you’ve been thinking about these past few days.
There’s a new tension between the two of you, and you know from the way Seungcheol shifts his weight from one foot to the other, that you’re not the only one feeling it.
“Thanks for making sure I got to my car safe.”
Seungcheol only nods, and again, you catch him staring at your lips.
Is he going to do it? Is he finally going to kiss you?
“Have a good night,” Seungcheol says gruffly, stepping back.
“Thanks, you too,” you sigh, heart sinking in your chest.
He stays standing there until you’re in your car, and with one final nod farewell, you begin to drive home, the anticipation of a kiss dying in your chest.

Five:
Staff Christmas parties can be hard in the service industry. With everyone booking their own parties and events at your place of work during the end of December, the only time to have them is early January, and then there’s the choice of doing a brunch before you open, or doing a late night thing after close.
A vote had been taken, and with many of you being night owls, you’d agreed to close an hour early on a Wednesday, so here you are, at 1 am, the first week of January, finally having your staff Christmas party.
Drinks are flowing, people are giggling, and overall, you’re enjoying yourself.
You’re not very close with many coworkers, especially after what had happened last year with Wonwoo. In fact, as you float around the room, holding your cocktail, you begin to realize that the person you might be the most connected to is - in fact - Seungcheol.
But there’s still a tension between you, one that makes you nervous to approach the head bouncer as he chills in a booth with a few other beefy security men.
You bide your time, casting a glance his way every now and then. You don’t want to approach Seungcheol when he’s surrounded by others, but as his table widdles down to just him and Mingyu, you take a breath.
Mingyu is known as the softest bouncer, he’s tall, charming, and a hundred percent puppy dog. His eyes light up as you approach, and Mingyu moves over to provide room from you in the booth. “Hi, Doll!” Mingyu beams.
“Hey, Mingyu,” you smile, taking a seat. “How are you two doing?”
“Open bar,” Mingyu responds, holding up his beer. You love how simple things are for this man, if there are cute girl and drinks, he’s happy- so, seeing as he’s a bouncer at a club, you’ve never seen Mingyu in a foul mood.
“What are you drinking, Cheol?” you ask, turning your attention to the person you really want to spend time with. “Vodka cran?”
“Cran soda,” Mingyu corrects. “Big guy isn’t a huge drinker.”
“Really?” you ask, brows raising. “I’m shocked.”
Cheol simply shrugs. “I make it a rule not to drink at work.”
“We’re off the clock,” you remind him with a grin. “Are you sure you don’t want to let loose a little? You seem tense.”
“I’m just not a huge party guy,” Seungcheol sighs, leaning back and resting his palm on the table. You’re struck by his large hands, how pretty they look-
“Speaking of partying,” Mingyu interjects, “I think they’re going to start karaoke soon, I’ve gotta go put my name down.”
You laugh, getting out of the booth to allow Mingyu to scurry away before taking your seat again. “Are you a karaoke fan?”
“Not really,” Seungcheol responds. “You?”
“I can be,” you say thoughtfully. “It depends.”
“You don’t look like you’re having a lot of fun tonight,” Seungcheol notes.
“Wow, big guy, have you been watching me?” you laugh.
“Old habits die hard,” Seungcheol says under his breath.
You cock your head to the side. “What do you mean by that?”
The large bouncer shrugs. “I guess, you’re our top bottle girl, you deal with regulars and VIPs who get a little more… I don’t know, bold, than others who are here. I always have my eye on you.”
You can feel your skin heat, a mix of embarrassment and pride.
“Anyways,” Seungcheol swallows thickly and it’s clear he wants to shift the topic. “I’m also not drinking because I have to drive home soon.”
“You’re not staying for karaoke?”
“It’s not my scene.”
“Ah, I see.” Your heart sinks a little, you’d hoped to spend more time with him tonight.
“Do you need a ride?” he asks.
“I was probably going to get a cab,” you admit.
“Listen, I think we both spend too much time in this club surrounded by people partying. I don’t know about you, but I’m more of a stay at home and have a quiet night in kind of guy. How would you feel about getting out of here, going to mine and actually relaxing now that we’ve shown our faces here and done our due diligence?”
“I would love that,” you tell him.
Seungcheol nods. “Let’s finish our drinks then.”
“I’ll drink to that,” you giggle, lifting your glass to gently clink against his own.
It’s crazy how you can be in a club full of coworkers and alcohol, music pumping through speakers and Crystal starting a horrible cover of ‘Defying Gravity’ on karaoke, but still, staring at Seungcheol in your booth, it feels like it’s just the two of you.
You’re a little eager with your cocktail, and soon, the two of you are bringing your glasses over to the bar, grabbing your things, and heading out the door.
Seungcheol leads you to the staff parking lot, where he opens the passenger door to a massive black truck. “I’ll help you in,” he says, holding out a hand, “it’s a bit of a high step.”
You’re in cute heels, and you definitely need Seungcheol for stability as you climb into the large vehicle.
He shuts the door gently behind you before walking around the front of the truck to enter his own side.
“You cold?” he asks, putting the keys in the ignition so the truck can roar to life.
“Just a little, I’ll be fine,” you assure him.
The bouncer reaches forward, flicking a button. “I’m going to heat your seat for you.”
You can tell from his tone that he won’t take no for an answer. He wants to take care of you, wants to make sure you’re warm and comfortable.
You admire the truck while the two of you begin to drive to his apartment, and you marvel at the view. Being so much higher than in your own car, it feels very different driving around.
“Are you sure you want to come to mine? I can take you back to yours and drop you off if you’d prefer,” Seungcheol offers.
“No, I want to spend some more time with you,” you admit, taking a leap and being vulnerable.
You see Seungcheol crack a smile, but he doesn’t say anything, and the two of you just grin the whole way to his place. You look at the large building as he pulls into the underground, marveling at the modern location.
“Nice building,” you muse.
“It does the job,” Seungcheol says humbly as he parks. “Let me help you out of the truck.”
You wait patiently for him to come around to your side, opening the door and offering you his hand. You gently take his palm, allowing him to help you down. You love the princess treatment, and you think you could get used to this as the two of you head to the elevator.
The elevator ride up to his floor is quite, a giddiness exploding through your stomach. You’re excited about this, about what the night might have to offer you.
“So this is home,” Seungcheol says as he holds open his door for you, allowing you to step into his apartment first.
You can’t help the shock that floods over you at the entryway alone. The design choices are giving modern man, a man who is put together, a man with money, and this hadn’t necessarily been what you were expecting from Seungcheol.
“Wow, this place is nice,” you tell him, slipping off your high heels. “I didn’t know bouncers made this kind of money.”
Seungcheol laughs at your forward statement. “They don’t.” He puts his keys in the entryway decorative bowl. “I haven’t always been a bouncer, you know.”
“No? You didn’t come swinging right out of the womb?” you tease.
He releases another chuckle. “I uh, actually come from money. I own a few properties, make passive income off tenants and stuff. My dad actually owns the club we work at. I used to be a regular there when it first opened, and I saw how tough some of the bottle girls had it, dealing with VIPs and shit. Call it a quarter life crisis or something, but I figured I have enough money, enough assets, to do something that actually makes a difference, even in some small way… running businesses was always my dad’s thing anyway, not mine.”
You stare at him in shock for a few moments, then you swallow thickly to find your voice. “I mean… I always thought Choi was just a common last name, I would have never guessed you were the owners son- I never expected this kind of origin story from you.”
“No? I don’t scream spoiled rich boy to you?” Seungcheol teases.
“I guess your truck probably should have tipped me off,” you admit with a giggle. “Look at you, closeted rich boy who comes to work in jeans and hoodies every day.”
“I like to be comfortable,” Seungcheol muses, leading you into his apartment. “My home is your home, take a seat, and I’ll grab us some drinks.”
You nod gratefully, making your way to the plush sectional couch in his livingroom. It’s an open floor plan, and you turn to watch him in the kitchen. The underlights littered around the cupboards provide just the right ambiance, and you take the time to appreciate the broadness of Seungcheol’s shoulders as he opens his fridge.
“What are you feeling?” he asks. “Beer or wine?”
“Wine sounds good,” you grin. “Although, I never took you as a wine drinker.”
“There’s a lot you don’t know about me,” Seungcheol responds, pulling a bottle of white wine from the fridge. He retrieves two glasses and a corkscrew before coming to join you on the couch. He sets the glasses on the glass coffee table, and then you watch him expertly open the bottle, taking his time.
“You might be better at my job than I am,” you muse, smiling at the man who’s so focused on the wine in his hands.
“I’ve just got practice,” he retorts with a grin. Seungcheol pores you both a drink. “Cheers,” he says, and you clink your glasses.
You take a sip, and Seugcheol watches you intently. “So, you know a little about my past,” he muses. “How about you? How’d you end up doing bottle service?”
You release a deep breath, leaning back against his couch. “That’s a good question.” You adjust a little, tucking your knees up so you can sit sideways, one arm draped over the back of the couch. “You know how I told you Crystal had a doctorate in psychology?”
“Mhmm,” he hums, sipping his wine.
“Well, I was in psychology too. Took the job to supplement my schooling, realized I was making a lot of money from tips. Crystal confirmed the salary difference and I guess I figured I’d put more energy into the club. I graduated a couple of months ago, I’m still considering going back for further schooling, but for now, I think I’m just trying to figure out what I want my life direction to be.”
“I guess having that background makes you better at bottle service,” Seungcheol points out. “You’re really good with clients, especially Seokmin on New Years eve.”
“People just want to be seen and heard,” you sigh. “In a drunk state, a lot of people can be guided with soft tones. You’re at the club to help us girls be safe, I guess I’m at the club to make people feel a little better about interacting with others… sure, there’s money involved too, but that’s capitalism for you.”
“Yeah, capitalism,” Seungcheol releases a sigh, and then a chuckle. “I definitely didn’t think our conversation tonight would steer towards politics and ideologies, but here we are.”
“Where did you think our conversation tonight would lead us?” you ask, cocking your head to the side with interest.
“I guess I just figured maybe I’d invite you back here, open a bottle of wine-”
“So the bottle of wine is for me, you don’t just keep chardonnay in your fridge!”
“Caught me,” Seungcheol laughs.
“What else were you thinking of doing to me once I came here?” you ask, leaning forward with a mischievous arch of your brow.
The bouncer laughs even harder, throwing his head back, but the chuckle turns into a deep sigh, and he meets your eyes again. “Slow down there, Doll, I’m a gentleman.”
“Sure you are,” you tease.
“Why psychology?”
“Hmm?”
“Psychology, you said you took it in school, what pushed you in that direction?”
It’s definitely a topic switcheroo, and you sit back in your seat to think about it for a few moments. “I guess… I just like people. I’m interested in them, and why they are the way that they are.”
“Do you find that working in the service industry gives you a good test group of people to watch?”
You laugh. “That sounds way too scientific for me. I think I’m just a people person.”
“But we both got bored at the party.”
“We just finished shifts. I can’t be surrounded by noise and problems and gossip all day every day,” you point out. “Besides, I wanted to get to know you better, and the club isn’t the best place for that. I think I’ve learned a lot more about you just by seeing where you live than anything else I’ve discovered this past year.”
“Do you like what you’ve learned?”
You smile, nodding. “Yeah.”
You chat for a while, then Seungcheol puts on a show in the background while the two of you take turns asking all sorts of questions. You realize, as Seungcheol drapes a blanket over you, that he truly has no intention of fucking you tonight. He’d brought you back here to get to know you better, not for some ulterior motive that involved getting his dick wet.
You feel safe with him, and as you cuddle up to his side, only half paying attention to the show on the screen, you release a breath. Soon, you’re drifting off to sleep, and you know you’re in good hands.

Six:
You wake up slowly, then all at once, sitting up abruptly with your heart lurching. The room around you is unfamiliar, and when you turn, you notice Seungcheol passed out in bed next to you. He’s still wearing his hoodie, with the hood all the way up, his hair a tangle of dark curls.
When you adjust, he stirs, blinking groggily. “Doll?”
“Sorry, I just-”
“Come here,” he grumbles, pulling you back down and to his chest.
You feel like an extremely little spoon in his embrace, and your heart is racing like a sportscar still. “What happened last night?” you ask.
“You passed out on the couch, it’s more comfortable here. I thought about getting you out of your dress, but I figured that would be creepy so we’re still wearing out clothes from last night,” he sighs. “What time is it?”
“Eleven thirty,” you say, looking at the clock on his bedside table.
“Shit,” he groans.
“Do you have somewhere to be?” you laugh.
“No, I just… Usually I work out at nine am.”
“Guess it’s a skip day.”
“Guess so,” Seungcheol agrees, holding you tighter.
You can feel his breath on the back of your neck, and fuck, it feels good.
You could get so used to this.
“Should we wake up?” he asks.
“If you want.”
“We probably should,” Seungcheol sighs deeply. “Five more minutes.”
You have no qualms with five more minutes of cuddling, and when the time is up, Seungcheol haphazardly gets out of bed. He’s stumbly, his eyes still half closed, and God, does he look adorable.
“I want to take you for brunch,” Seungcheol says. “I’ve gotta shower quickly, do you want to change into some of my clothes?”
“Honestly, I don’t think I’d fit in your clothes, with your broad shoulders and stuff,” you laugh.
“At least take a jacket, closets right here,” he disappears into the walk in, returning with a bundle of clothes in his arms. “I’m gonna shower, feel free to take anything you like, I’ll be right back.”
You wait till he’s in the ensuite bathroom, the water running, before you sneak out of bed to investigate his closet.
Turns out he has more than just hoodies and jeans, and you try not to be super snoopy as you look at suits and other attire.
You find a duster jacket, and when you put it on over your dress, you like the oversized feel of it.
You go to wait on his bed, and soon, Seungcheol’s coming out of his bathroom in a new set of clothes. “Are you a brunch girl?” he asks, leading you through his apartment toward the front door.
“I can be, with the right person.”
“Now I see how you get tips, Doll, you’re a charmer.”
“Just being honest with you,” you grin.
Seungcheol chuckles, pulling on a hoodie to go with his jeans before he opens the front door for you to exit.
You’re both tired as you take the elevator down to his truck, and Seungcheol tells you he ‘knows a brunch place,’ so you leave the details in his capable hands.
He takes you to a small Mom and Pop style restaurant, and by the way the hostess greets him, you can tell he comes here a lot. The two of you get a secluded booth in the corner of the restaurant by the window, and Seungcheol releases a deep breath as you sit down.
“I come here most days after the gym, I’m not much of a cook back home,” Seungcheol tells you. “They always let me bring a protein shake in here, and the eggs are good.”
“I’m excited to try the food then,” you admit, looking at the menu.
The waitress comes, and you notice the way she looks at Seungcheol, you suppose you can’t blame her, you look at him the same way.
He’s cordial with her, the two of you getting drinks, and soon, you’re ordering food too. “Eggs any way, let’s do scrambled, make it four eggs, with cheese, rye toast, extra bacon and extra sausage,” Seungcheol tells her.
“Wow, only four eggs today?” The waitress cocks her brow.
“Didn’t come from the gym,” Seungcheol explains.
“You got it, boss,” the server teases.
She takes your order next, then scurries off, and Seungcheol’s gaze shifts to you. “Can I be honest with you?”
“Of course.”
“I like you, a lot.”
“I like you too, a lot,” you grin.
“How do you feel about dating coworkers?” he questions.
“I mean… we both know things didn’t end well with Wonwoo, so I’d sort of promised myself not to do that again, but… well, you’re not Wonwoo.”
“I’m definitely not,” Seungcheol agrees with a sad chuckle. “Do you mind if I ask you what happened with him? I mean… you strike me as someone a little more serious, someone looking for something more serious, I always kind of wondered why you tried with Wonwoo of all people.”
“That’s a good question,” you admit, leaning back in the booth. “Honestly, I think I liked the idea of him. I figured he was kind of quiet, which would mean he wasn’t a player, but I was wrong.”
Seungcheol nods, looking down at his hands. “You didn’t deserve that.”
“He thought that, since I do bottle service, I’d be willing to put out quickly, but, I’m not that kind of girl. I have to be comfortable with someone in order to have that sort of deep connection, you know?”
“Yeah, I’m not one for one-night stands either,” Seungcheol agrees.
“I’m glad we’re on the same page about this,” you grin gratefully.
“Me too.” Seugcheol reaches over the table, grabbing your hand. It’s a delicate touch, but it speaks volumes.
The two of you continue to chat, and food comes. You eat peacefully together, and brunch is ending much too quickly for your liking. The two of you get back into his truck, and Seungcheol drives you home, insisting on helping you out of his vehicle again.
You love the way he holds out his hand, helping you down onto the pavement. His free palm steadies you at the hip, and you look up at the bouncer expectantly.
He swallows thickly, his gaze shifting to your lips. “You have no idea how much I wanted to kiss you on New Years,” he admits, tone low.
“You have no idea how much I’ve wished you did.”
There’s a brief moment of eye contact, of Seungcheol being sure you’re okay with this, and then, he cups your cheek, leaning down to finally close the distance.
His lips are soft, his palm warm against your skin, and you have to stifle a moan at first contact. You shift closer, wrapping your arms around the back of his neck, pressing your chest to his own.
Seungcheol grabs the small of your back, keeping you tight to his body, the kiss deepening.
There’s a honk from nearby traffic and you jump a little, pulling away while the two of you double check your surroundings.
Your heart is racing in your chest. Once again, you’d been pulled so completely into the experience of being with Seungcheol, that you’d nearly forgotten everything else going around you.
You’re still in a daze as you meet his gaze again, and Seungcheol slowly moves, pressing his forehead against your own in the most loving way possible. “I’ll see you soon,” he promises, gifting one last chaste kiss to your lips before pulling away.
You practically stumble away from him, overwhelmed as you use your key to get into your apartment lobby. You turn to wave goodbye to the bouncer who’s still watching you from his truck, intent on making sure you get home safe, as always.

Seven:
“So…” Candy grins as you both count up your money after a good night, “what’s going on with you and Seungcheol?”
“Huh?”
“I saw you two leave the Christmas party together,” she muses, pausing what she’s doing to give you her full attention. “Something definitely happened.”
“You think so?” you laugh.
“You’re both hot, so, yeah.”
It’s been five days since that night, five days of you and Seungcheol spending every day together in some capacity or another.
“I can see you grinning,” Candy teases before leaning in, her voice lowering. “How is he in bed?”
“Candy!” you laugh, shocked at her direct question.
“What?” She acts as if it’s the most normal inquiry in the world. “You guys have to have slept together by now, no?”
“For your information…” you lower your own tone, shifting closer. “We haven’t.”
“What? But you’re in the service industry! We’re all whores here!”
You can’t help but giggle at her words. “Not all of us, babes.”
“Okay, but… soon though?”
“Maybe…”
“You’re seeing him tonight, aren’t you, Doll?” Candy’s grin widens.
“Maybe…” you singsong.
“Bet you can’t help yourself anymore, huh? Tonight’s the night?” Candy pokes your arm. “That man is so big and tree-like that you could climb him, it must be hard holding out.”
You finish up your cash out with a sigh and a shake of your head. “It’s actually been nice just getting to know him.”
“And when you get married, I’m invited,” Candy declares.
“Sure you are, goodnight, Candy.”
“Only one of us is having a good night, you fucking tree climber.”
You’re still laughing as you get back into the main club area. Seungcheol is waiting for you by the doors, and together you walk to his car.
“Do you want me to take you back to yours tonight?” he asks.
“Hmm?”
“I mean…” he rubs the back of his neck as he holds open the passenger door for you. “I don’t want to be presumptuous-”
“Well I like to be presumptuous,” you tease, pressing a kiss to his cheek, “which is why I packed an overnight bag for your place.”
Seungcheol grins. “I love a woman who knows what she wants.”

Eight:
You feel like you’ve had a crash course in all things Seungcheol in the past five days, even so, you want to know more, so, you’ve resorted to finding cheesy lists of questions online to ask him.
He’s adorable when you suggest it, pouring you both a small glass of wine before joining you on the couch.
The two of you take turns asking questions, finding inquiries that you hadn’t thought to ask before.
“What was the first thing you noticed about me,” you grin, putting your phone down.
“Your work ethic,” Seungcheol answers. “Your smile, your… infectious personality.”
“Infectious? Okay, mister resting grumpy face,” you tease.
“I’m a bouncer, it’s part of the job,” he muses, reaching for your phone to find a question of his own. “What was your favourite part of our first date?”
“I mean, if you count coming back here after the Christmas party as our first date, it was the fact that I fell asleep so easily next to you. You just relax me, I even woke up in your bed fully clothed after which was nice-”
“Common decency,” Seungcheol interjects with a sigh.
“Still,” you insist. “If we’re talking about the brunch the next morning as our first date, I think I just sort of liked how natural it felt, as if we’d done it a thousand times. There wasn’t any food anxiety-”
“Food anxiety?”
“You know, worrying about getting food on my face or in my teeth, or you judging me on what I ordered- you just, accept me, and I knew it from the start.”
“That’s cute,” Seungcheol grins, passing you your phone back.
You skim the screen for a few seconds. “Have you told your friends about me?”
“Yeah, my friends outside of work know about you.”
“They do?” you smile, heart softening.
“They’ve known about you for a while.”
“Been crushing on your coworker for how long, Cheol?” you tease.
“Like I said… a while.”
You’re satisfied with your answer, so you pass him your phone.
“I found a question,” he says after a moment, “but if it’s not something you want to dive into, we can skip it.”
“Just go for it.”
“So… we’ve talked a bit about this before, for example, I know you’re not a one-night stand person, but other than that, why didn’t things work out with Wonwoo, or, your ex?” he asks, adjusting the question on your list ever so slightly.
“Oof.” You let out a deep breath, taking a sip of your wine.
“Like I said, we can skip it,” Seungcheol assures you.
“No, just give me some time,” you tell him, trying to center yourself. “You want the real answer? The TMI answer?”
“Always.”
“I told you I’m not into one night stands, I told you I need a deeper connection with people- at the root of it, I can’t uh… I can’t cum unless I feel safe with someone.”
Seungcheol is quiet for a moment. “So safety, and probably a lot of foreplay.”
“Exactly.”
“And most men haven’t given you that in the past?” he enquires.
“Unfortunately, no.”
“Then they didn’t deserve you.”
“And… how would you be different?” you ask, heart beginning to thump faster in your chest.
“Well, I’d take my time with you, for one,” Seungcheol responds, putting your phone down and shifting so he can face you. “I’d find out what you like, what you don’t like… I’d reassure you verbally, I wouldn’t pressure you, and I’d give you space to be yourself.”
“You’re already doing all of those things, which I appreciate,” you admit. “I like how slow we’ve been going.”
“Yeah, me too.” He licks his lips, and your eyes are drawn to the motion.
“Saying that… I was thinking… maybe tonight…” You can feel your skin heating in embarrassment, you’ve never had to ask a man for sex before, but it makes sense that with this man, this wonderful person who is leaving the ball in your court for all things decision-making, you have to be the one to speak up. “I was thinking maybe tonight we could go that one step further, if you want.”
“Are you sure you’re up for that?” Seungcheol asks, cocking his head to the side to assess you.
“Yes.” You nod, forcing yourself to exude assertiveness. “I feel safe with you, and I’m ready to break my dry spell.”
“Dry spell, huh?” The bouncer grins. “I’ll make the wait worth it.”
“You promise?” you ask, moving closer to him.
“I promise.” His strong hands pull you into his lap and you straddle his waist on the couch, wrapping your arms around the back of his neck loosely.
The two of you just stare at each other for a moment, and then Seungcheol leans forward, pressing a soft kiss against your lips.
You love how gentle he is with you, but tonight, you want more, and you quickly change the pace of the kiss when you lick at his lower lip, shyly asking for entry.
Seungcheol releases a groan, opening up to you, and you return the sound with a whimper of your own, shifting in his lap. Your chests are pressed together now, and Seungcheol’s hands move from your hips to the small of your back, massaging your body gently as you kiss.
He feels so good, and your mind goes blank as the two of you enjoy each other.
You can’t help it when you begin to move though, wiggling gently against him. You can already feel something pressing up between your legs, and it makes you more confident knowing you’ve had this sort of affect on him.
You’re both breathing heavily when Seungcheol moves his mouth to your neck, searching until he finds your sweet spot. You let out a loud moan, tilting your head back, grabbing at his shoulders tightly. He licks at your skin, gently circling the spot that has your entire body reacting.
Seungcheol releases a deep groan, his hands moving to grip your ass, and then he stands up suddenly,  making you clutch onto him in shock.
“Moving to the bedroom,” he tells you, carrying you the short distance.
Seungcheol sets you gently onto his bed, looking down at you. He lets out a breath, running a hand through his unruly curls.
“What are you thinking?” you ask.
“I was thinking maybe you’d be into a blindfold.”
“Hmm?”
“I’ve heard that some girls who have anxiety in bed relax more when there’s no need for eye contact, when they can just focus on what’s feeling good.”
“Do you have a blindfold?”
“I have a sleeping mask,” Seungcheol responds, reaching into his bedside table to retrieve one. “Are you up for it?”
“We could give it a try,” you tell him, heart leaping in your chest.
“I think this needs to come off first though,” Seungcheol muses, pulling at your hoodie.
“Do what you need to do,” you say, giving him permission to take care of you in the way he sees fit.
Seungcheol joins you on the bed, and he prompts you to sit up. His hands slip under your hoodie, gently lifting it, but leaving your shirt on beneath.
He kisses you then, taking his time with you, his hands exploring your body. For the first time, his large palm grazes your breast, and you whimper against his lips, arching your back, a nonverbal communication that you want him to continue.
Seungcheol’s mouth moves to your throat again, zoning in on your sweet spot. He begins to slowly slide your shirt up, and soon, he’s discarding that too. All that’s left on your upper half is your bra, and Seungcheol grips your breasts through the padding. His lips kiss the swell of your chest, his hair teasing your jaw even as you throw your head back, breathing heavily.
“Can I take this off too?” he asks, voice low, lust-filled.
“Please.”
His fingers expertly unclasp your bra and he gently takes it off of you, tossing it onto your ever-growing pile of clothes next to the bed.
Seungcheol lays you down softly, pressing his lips against your own. He kisses you deeply and you wrap your arms around him, teasing your fingers along his strong shoulders. You tug at the fabric of his shirt and you can feel him smirk against your lips.
He sits up, reaching behind himself to grab the nape of the neck of the fabric, and then he tugs it off, revealing a chiseled body of muscle. But he’s not lean-muscled, he’s clearly got some beef to him too, and it makes Seungcheol all the more attractive.
His own eyes take in your bare torso, and then he reaches for your breast, softly cupping it. His thumb strokes past your nipple and you groan, writhing against his bed sheets.
Seungcheol leans down, kissing your throat. He takes his time as he begins to descend, and your heart is thundering with anticipation by the time he makes it to your nipple. He licks it gently, circling the pebbled bud.
You groan loudly, threading your fingers in his hair.
He grins as he continues sucking on your nipple, his free hand moving up to cup the neglected breast. You love how he’s taking his time with you, and you can feel yourself getting wetter by the second.
“Can I take your sweatpants off?” he asks.
“Yes, please.” You lift your hips to make things easier for Seungcheol, and soon, your pants are discarded, leaving you only in your panties.
“I think it’s time for the blindfold if you want,” he suggests, sitting up and reaching for it.
He passes the silky fabric to you, and you take a breath. “Let’s do it.”
“If you want to take it off for any reason, just take it off, okay?” He’s looking at you very seriously, and you know in your heart that he values your own comfort more than anything else.
“Okay.”
You slowly slip the blindfold on before relaxing back against the bed and releasing another deep breath.
Seungcheol grabs your calf gently, massaging it. His hand is warm and big, working it’s way up to your knee, then you’re thigh.
He shifts on the bed, and a moment later you feel breath against your clothed core.
You grip the bed sheets in anticipation.
Seungcheol presses a kiss to your panty-covered clit and your toes curl involuntarily. You half expect him to continue to focus on your pussy, but his lips quickly move to your inner thigh.
One of his hands is still massaging your thigh, and everything feels heightened with the blindfold on. You’re entirely focused on Seungcheol and his gentle movements, your skin electrified with sensitivity.
“You’re so pretty,” he murmurs, pressing a kiss to your inner knee.
You can only moan in response, mind pleasantly blank except for the slow build of pleasure that the bouncer is providing for you.
His breath ghosts past your core again and you shiver, clutching harder at the sheets.
“You look a little impatient too,” Seungcheol muses, and you can imagine his grin as he looks up at you.
“I am,” you admit, “impatient.”
“You’re being good for me so far,” he points out. “Maybe… I should finally reward you.”
“Please,” you practically beg.
“Gonna take these off of you now,” Seungcheol says, curling his fingers in the waistband of your panties.
You lift your hips again, and just like that, you’re completely bare for him.
It kind of helps that your own eyes are covered, that you’re not anxiously gaging his reaction to you-
“Still so pretty,” Seungcheol groans, and that’s all the confirmation of attraction that you need. Your pussy throbs at his words, and your skin tingles as he massages your thighs again. “Can you spread these for me, Doll?”
You’re quick to follow through with his request, his large palms helping to spread you open for him.
“Something tells me no one’s eaten you out properly in a very long time,” he muses.
“Try never.”
“You’ve never been eaten out?”
“I have, just… not properly.”
“Men these days,” Seungcheol sighs, and you giggle at his defeated tone.
Your laugh quickly turns into a whimper when Seungcheol licks a stripe of your pussy. He starts at the bottom, and makes his way to the top, circling your clit gently.
“Shit,” you groan, reaching down for him with one hand, trying to grab at his hair.
“Do you like it rough, or gentle?” he asks, guiding you by your wrist so you can take hold of his head.
“A bit of both- surprise me,” you breathe.
“You got it, Doll.”
His attention quickly returns to your core, where he begins to suck and lick. Every time you start to feel close from him playing with your clit, his tongue slips down to press into your hole. It’s a push-pull of pleasure, a teasing control of your body.
Your stomach muscles begin to clench, and you start to feel desperate.
“Seungcheol,” you whine, “I want to cum.”
“Yeah?” He’s panting against your pussy now and it feels so fucking good.
“Please?”
“I thought you said it’s hard to make you cum, I figured I’d be down here for a while.”
You pause, realizing that this might be the fastest you’ve ever come to an orgasm with a man.
“I-” You can’t find words, and you swallow thickly.
“I don’t think you have a problem cumming,” Seungcheol muses, stroking your thigh. “I think no man has put an effort into foreplay or eating you out, which is a shame.”
“You really… you don’t think anything is wrong with me?”
“There was never anything wrong with you, Doll, you should know by now that most things in this world are a man’s own fault, they just push it onto the women who are around them because they lack the emotional maturity to take accountability for their own failings.”
You let out a sad chuckle, shocked at the words that have just come out of his mouth. “You’re deeper than I ever imagined you would be, Cheol.”
“Baby, you have no clue how deep I can be, but you’re about to find out… you can cum, by the way, you don’t need my permission.”
Your heart skips a beat as his mouth returns to your pussy, and this time, he doesn’t tease around, it’s clear to him that your clit is ready to be properly stimulated, and you get the sense that Seungcheol would never deny you anything, least of all an orgasm.
He’s being rougher with your clit now, but he’s built you up to the point where you can take it. Your thighs are beginning to shake, your muscles tensing in preparation for the high that you know you’re about to hit.
You can’t help the moans slipping out of you, and there’s something so erotic about being blindfolded still- you can fully enjoy yourself, fully enjoy the masterful way Seungcheol’s mouth is working your most sensitive spot-
He sucks harshly and that’s all you need to cum, your orgasm exploding through you like fireworks. Your grip intensifies on his hair, keeping his face buried between your thighs while your entire body begins to shake with pleasure. It’s all-consuming, all-encompassing- and without a doubt, the best orgasm you’ve ever had with a man. Sure- your vibrators have been pretty amazing in the past, but fuck, there’s something about Seungcheol, something about someone else doing this to you- it gives you goosebumps as the waves of pleasure surge through you.
You’re gasping by the time you let up on his hair, and Seungcheol finally pulls away from your shaking body.
You can feel his eyes taking you in, and you slip the blindfold off, blinking up at him.
“How are you feeling?” he asks, pushing a piece of hair out of your face.
“So good,” you whimper, still trying to catch your breath.
“Do you want to stop now, or…”
Your gaze shifts down to the tent in his sweatpants- you can’t believe he’s willingly volunteering for blue balls- completely okay with having pleasured you and not getting a release for himself.
“No, I want to go all the way, clearly,” you retort. “Take your sweatpants off.”
“Yes, ma’am,” he teases, getting off the bed so he can push the black fabric down. His hard cock slaps up against his lower abdomen, and you can feel yourself practically drooling. “So… condoms?”
“I’m clean, and I’m on birth control.”
“I’m clean too, but if you don’t take my word for it, I’ve got protection-”
“Cheol,” you laugh, cutting him off, “I trust you.”
“I trust you too,” he says, getting back onto the bed with you.
He slips between your legs, his lips meeting yours desperately. Your thighs wrap around his hips, pulling him close until his cock is dragging against your pussy with each movement.
Your hands grab at his shoulders, chests pressed together now- it’s as if you’re breathing each other in. Nothing feels awkward or forced, and it definitely doesn’t feel like your first time with him. He knows you, knows what you like, what pace suits you best-
God, you’re at a very real risk of falling head over heels for this man, but you decide that’s something to worry about later.
“Cheol,” you whimper against his lips, and that’s all you need to say to him as a cue, he reaches between your bodies, grabs the base of his cock, and guides the tip to your wet hole.
“If it hurts-” he begins to say, but you draw him closer with your legs wrapped around his hips, forcing an inch of his length inside of your aching hole before he can finish his sentence. “Shit-” He cusses, breathing heavily.
He dips his head, eyes glued to the spot where he’s sinking inside of you.
An actual, honest-to-God, non-man-made material cock hasn’t been inside of you in ages, and it feels so good to have something real dragging against your sensitive inner walls. You moan immediately, throwing your head back and shutting your eyes.
Seungcheol takes the opportunity to kiss your sweet spot, teasing you as he sheaths himself all the way to the hilt. You both gasp, your nails digging into his shoulders.
“You good?” he pants.
“So good,” you retort with another loud moan.
Seungcheol begins to move, slowly at first, allowing you to fully adjust to the size of his cock. You can feel your body relaxing, and as it gets less tense, Seungcheol’s pace begins to increase.
His lips move from your throat to your own mouth again, and the two of you kiss desperately as he fucks you.
Nothing has ever felt this right.
“Fuck, I’m close already,” Seungcheol muses.
“Then cum?”
“No, I want to enjoy this more,” he argues. “Here, can we switch positions?”
“Yeah, how do you want me?”
“Mmm… Maybe doggy? Is that okay?”
“Yeah.” You nod quickly, pressing one last kiss to his lips before he pulls out of you.
You quickly roll onto your knees, arching your back and presenting yourself to him.
“Fuck, you look good in every angle, don’t you, Doll?” he groans, massaging your ass.
“I live to please,” you tease, wiggling your bum gently.
“Shit.” Seungcheol pushes his cock into you again and you both groan. “Want you to rub your clit for me. I don’t want to cum until you cum again, want you squeezing my cock and gripping the bed sheets when we both tip over the edge.”
“Yes, Cheol,” you whimper, slipping your hand between your thighs to rub your sensitive bud while Seungcheol begins to fuck you.
His pace is slow, careful- and you’d bet your wages that he’s still close to the edge, that he’s actively trying to calm down to give you time to get there too.
One of his hands continues to massage your ass, a constant reminder of his gentle and caring nature. He’s not gripping hard or slapping- just massaging, and it feels amazing.
Each thrust has him hitting a spot deep inside of you, doggy is a great position for that kind of penetration, and once again, you close your eyes to focus on the sensation.
You rub your clit harder, and the two of you groan as your pussy squeezes around his cock in response.
“Shit, you feel so good,” Seungcheol murmurs, both hands finding your hips as he begins to fuck you faster.
“You too,” you whimper, focusing entirely on the feeling of pleasure building in your pussy. “Can you slow down for a second?”
“Yeah.” You hear him swallow thickly, his pace decreasing. “Better?”
“Yeah, I just have to- fuck, focus on my clit for a sec.”
“Take your time,” he assures you.
You relax your body, breathing deeply as you rub your clit in hard circles. Your pussy begins to clench again and Seungcheol groans-
“Almost, almost,” you whisper- you feel yourself getting closer and closer to the edge- “okay, fuck, I’m going to cum!”
“Should I fuck you?” he asks, and you can hear the frazzled tone in his voice.
“Yeah, fuck me, shit, fuck me, please!” you cry out desperately, so close to the edge that you can taste it-
“You got it, Doll.”
And just like that, he’s pistoning into you. The feeling of his cock filling you up is the cherry on top of your pleasure, and you release a strangled whimper- “Cumming!”
“Fuck,” Seungcheol groans behind you as your pussy clamps down hard on him, squeezing him like a vice.
His thrusts momentarily falter as your core throbs around him, and then his fingers are digging into your hips. “I’m cumming too-” he tells you, and you can feel his cum beginning to fill you up.
It feels so fucking good to be filled like this again, and you gasp as you both cum together. Your hands ball up in the fabric of his bed like an anchor, your entire body consumed by pleasure for the second time tonight.
The groans leaving Seungcheol’s lips are a whole different kind of sexy, and you focus on him as you both begin to come down from your highs.
“Fuck,” Seungcheol moans, stopping behind you, his hands smoothing up and down your back again. “You good?”
“So good,” you whimper.
“I’m going to go get you a cloth, and then we should have a shower together.”
“I’m so tired though-” you begin to argue.
“Doll, you might not be used to men taking care of you, but I want to be the person who makes you feel good, and part of that, is having a nice shower after sex, then cuddling up in bed. Do you trust me?”
“Yes, Seungcheol,” you smile, “I trust you.”

“You look upset,” Vernon muses as you take a breather at the bar while waiting for cocktails to be made.
“Do I?” you sigh, closing your eyes to center yourself.
“Did uh… did something happen with Seungcheol?”
“What? God, no.” An awkward laugh tumbles from your lips. “Do I seriously look that upset?”
“You definitely look off,” Vernon points out.
“It’s just…” you exhale deeply, “you know, being in bottle service, getting hit on is part of my job, being a little flirty is how I make the most tips-”
“But you feel like that’s not being nice to Seungcheol,” your manager finishes for you, hitting the nail on the head.
“Exactly.”
“I mean…” Vernon’s gaze shifts to the bouncer by the door. “He doesn’t strike me as a jealous person.”
“And he’s not,” you’re quick to assure him, “that’s not the problem.”
“So… if he doesn’t care, then… what do the kids say these days? Make that bag? Make that money to buy that bag?”
