Patch 1.47 Interactions

For the first time in quite a while, we have new interactions in Overwatch. There’s not many, and Sigma’s bunch of interactions are still incomplete, but here’s what we have.

Reaper: Why am I being subjected to this agony? Moira: No need to thank me, I only saved your life.

Widowmaker: I don’t understand how you can trust Sombra. Reaper: I don’t. But Sombra has her uses and I know what she’s been up to.

Mercy: Ah, you’re here. It’s good to have backup. Baptiste: Always glad to lend you a hand, Dr. Ziegler.

Baptiste: It’s good to be working with you again, Dr. Ziegler. Mercy: And under better circumstances too.

Winston: Hammond, how did you escape anyway? Wrecking Ball: [squeaks] Winston: What? That explains the drag when I lifted off … I was sure that my calculations were correct.

Genji: Angela, what did you wish for on your tanzaku? Mercy: If I tell you … does it mean it won’t come true?

Genji: Doomfist, you are truly a worthy foe. Doomfist: If we fight again, I can’t promise you’ll walk away this time. Genji: Nor can I.

Roadhog: I saw you at Calaveras. Sombra: They let you in there? Well … I guess no one was goint to stop you.

Moira: Why am I not surprised to learn that you grew up in a place like this, McCree? McCree: I’m from Texas.

McCree: How’d a guy like you get a nickname like “Sparrow” anyway? Genji: My father, Sojiro, called me that as an insult. I’ve grown to like it.

Sombra: Katya Volskaya and Aleksandra Zaryanova … traiters to your own country. You deserve each other. Zayra: I do what I must, for my people.

Moira: I know we have our differences, but your brilliant mind would be welcome among my colleagues in Oasis. Mercy: No thank you. You and your colleagues discredit the field of science. I want nothing to do with it.

There may be others that I missed, but these are the ones I could pick out just looking through the hero audio files.

Get it? Didn’t matter, because he was giggling now. “Arm in infamous arm~” He was clearly feeling particularly animated today, as he jerked away from Hog’s arm into a squat. “Aww, strewth, though. You looked bloody aces in that crown. Wonder if we can get that one back for ya…?”

Hog could only imagine how much they’d doubled down on security since their last attempt on the crown. Was too bad. It was very shiny. And God help him, he LOVED shiny things.

“ Hafta make a new one. ”

The Rat was fairly handy, and surprisingly good at improvising with what little scrap and material he could cobble together. Wouldn’t be the same, but it was better than nothing.

The question actually kind of caught Alinta off guard. She’d not expected him to inquire into her today, let alone her past day-to-days. “Ahh, there ain’t much to be, eh? Just roamin’ the Outback like some crazy old vigilante sheila, playin’ at Waltzin’ Matilda.” Honestly? It wasn’t a lie, but there was more to the full truth. Being the company of nothing but hot, buzzing air had done very little for her. Perhaps it really was why she sought to bother the old boar.

“I see youse’ve been behavin’, though. Gold stars!”

Fuck you. Just for that little narrative quip, he’s ordering takeout again. And he ain’t gettin’ ANYTHING resembling leafy greens. All carbs and proteins all day, baby. He’s here for a good time, not a long time.

“ S’pose, ” Roadhog agreed with a shrug. They really needed to fix that. Much as he liked the quiet, he was getting restless. Life with Junkrat seemed to have jarred him from his previous existence of isolation to a point where things being so peaceful felt ... wrong. Guy had really worked his way into Hog’s head in ways few other people managed to. Probably why, no matter how irritated or frustrated he got, he stayed. Couldn’t imagine life any other way, now that it was this way. “ ... y’ hungry? ”

Maybe he was kind of glad for the break in tedium, too. Much as Alinta got him on edge, at least being on edge was better than being BORED.

“Anyway, if you’re tired, I ain’t gonna make y’stay awake. Or… are y’scared I’ll do somethin’ to your shit~? Or draw somethin’ on ya in permanent marker?”

Roadhog hefted himself up to his feet, grumbling a bit at the ache in his joints. Seemed like it got harder and harder to get up, older and more worn out he got.

“ ... how’ve you been? ” he asked, a little awkwardly given he wasn’t used to giving a shit about what other people had been up to. Was sort of curious how her life had been going, though. If she wasn’t here cuz she was mad, he figured he might as well catch up a bit.

“King Jamison Fawkes I~! What d’ya wanna be, Hog? A knight? A Duke?” And cue the eyebrow waggle. “Me king~?”

He’d done the whole enforcer thing -- closest to a ‘ knight ’ the Queen had at her disposal -- and wasn’t too keen on the idea of picking it up again. ‘sides, if he was getting in on this, Roadhog was making sure he got his cut of the spoils.

“ ... long as I get a crown. ”

“Perhaps y’just need a good nap?” She settled herself down on one of the various boxes of whatever the fuck they owned, leaning her elbows on her knees and giving him a raised brow smile. “I can work that out, if that’s the case.” Her rifle got a little pat as if to emphasize her point.

A sharp snort, gaze now trained on that rifle. 

“ Keen eye’s fine. Just got tired, ” Hog groused. Might’ve been jumpy around her -- for very good reason -- but he still had his pride to defend. “ Why’re you here? ”

He knew the Queen loathed him with every fiber of her being. Always knew. But god did it really get him revved up to get under her skin like a little parasite!

With that, he mushed his cheek up against Hog’s arm, grinning from ear to ear. “They always come ‘round.” No they don’t.

Roadhog huffed an amused sound. Wasn’t sure he’d even class his own attachment to Junkrat as ‘ coming to his senses ’. 

“ Mm. What’s that gonna make you? King? ‘r some kinda concubine? ”

Even IF the radiation had finally fried the last of whatever rattled around in the Queen’s skull, was hard to imagine her actually sharing any of the power she’d seized for herself over the years. Besides that, didn’t even wanna think of what Junkrat would do, if he sat on the throne of Junkertown himself ...
