First, leisurely 45k ride around Winnipeg, since the NKCR. Great day to be on the road - excluding the brief off-road section thanks to the guy texting behind the wheel of his Black Mercedes C230... August 22 - Bike is out of commission for a couple of days. Apparently if you ride a lot, parts wear out. Thankfully, @bikesandbeyond will have it all fixed before the MS Bike Tour this weekend. #Riding4Kids

Tour for Kids Ontario wrapped up today and I managed to ride just over 400km with my fellow riders. Met lots of my fellow national team riders, and hundreds turned out to log some miles and raise some money for a great cause! The routes were fantastic, the weather cooperated and we even had a chance to play tourist at Niagra Falls. There are only a couple more weeks before I start the cross-Canada ride... feeling confident and nervous at the same time. July 6 - Second ride of the day and a total of almost 125km in the saddle today (longest day to date). All told, I have logged 4,883 km training for my cross-Canada ride.
