Unfortunately #KEPIN has to use the Race version of C-Bear; Cyclocross and MTB version are sadly not available anywhere in Indonesia, for now🤞🏼. Took my @curvecycling #Kevin for a short spin to a somewhat complete mix of terrains: dry & wet hard pack, tarmac, paving block, wet dirt & mud, etc. A perfect condition for a “quick test ride” that have been long overdue. #Kevin provide a great amount of stability when tackling all those mix terrains, and as a result, boost confidence when maneuvering along the way, especially during sharp climbs. My current tire setup was not completely suitable for a mixed terrain like this, especially wet dirt and mud. The reason I still use this tire is solely because of my laziness of changing my commuter tire and put on a proper tire before the ride hahaha. It was a fun time riding with the usual crew! Back to square one, alias mulai lagi dari awal 😆 Setelah sebulan lalu harus dadakan staycation 12 hari di rumah sakit, kemudian lanjut lagi check up urusan gastric, gak perlu lagi lah bahas fitness level dulu 🤣. Hari ini mulai lagi “ngaspal” alias lari…or jalan! Untungnya badan masih inget gimana caranya lari 👻. Sebulan terakhir ini selalu monitor kondisi badan, tentunya dibantu #fenix7x yang selalu nempel di tangan. Lari pagi tadi hanya liat jam setelah finish supaya larinya lebih rilex dan ngikutin kondisi badan. Setelah finish, liat jam. Ternyata bener, larinya gak seberapa, heart rate nya kok segituuu🤦🏽😂. Berarti, harus lebih santai lagi larinya. Recovery takes time, patience, a whole lot of consistency. #NewBikeDay . After a long wait since early this year, maiden ride finally happening for Kevin GXR, which is, daily commute to work 😅😆! . Current setup are @shimanogravel GRX drivetrain, @rotorbike compact chainring & 165mm crank arm, @ritcheylogic handlebar & stem (this definitely need <90mm one), @curvecycling Ti seatpost with @fabriccycling saddle, @hplusson Archtype rims with @surlybikes ExtraTerrestrial 41 tire. . Still getting to know the bike and definitely will have some tweaks here and there to make it perfect for both daily commute and looonnnggggg rides 👻. Won’t be able to do a long ride anytime soon, but definitely planning one . Long run hari minggu lalu seharusnya bertiga. Orangnya udah ngajakin sejak hari senin/selasa lah. Diingetin melulu tiap hari. Hari Jumat ketemu @gerardusmaxi, dia nanya long run dimana, mau ikut. Two features (amongst so many others) that I always check pre & post workout: Body Battery and Training Status. . Body battery will give you a quick info on how well you have recharge your self, hence how you should tackle your day ahead, including your workout. . Training status will tell you how your workout regime impacting your fitness level. Mixing your workout will (usually) resulting in a better fitness progression. . So I wear my #Garmin sports watch almost all day long, and there are a few features that become my favorite and become my daily habit to check it early in the day: Body Battery and Health Snapshots! . Health Snapshots basically a summary of your current body measurements (Heart rate, SpO2, Respiratory rate, Stress level, and Heart-Rate Variability). This feature is easily accessible my adding the Health Snapshots widget to Widget Glances. It only took 2 minutes of your morning (this is my preferable time to use this feature) to take the snapshot and then you can do a quick evaluation of the data given. . Body Battery will provide you information in a form of nice graphics indicating your energy level throughout the day. In principle, it works the same as battery level indicator on any electronic device. Body Battery affected my many variables measured by #Garmin device, both daily activity and specific sports activity that you conduct during the day. Rule of thumb for body battery data is, an optimal balance between daily activity, sport activity, and rest, the more likely your body batter level show high number, with 100% as the maximum value. Same as before, this feature usually already by default available in Widget Glances. The difference from Health Snapshot, this feature will display its measurement automatically, as long as you wear your #Garmin sports watch all day. .
