Cherubim Sexon Super Peace
13th October 2024 | I SNAPPED my Cherubim on d way back from Jakarta-BSD. ( ◡̀_◡́)ᕤ It started before I went home; I phone called Rio, Widi, Diar, & Daffa to see if I could join them to back home and meet at Block A station, yes. On the way to meet them I had noticed my bike felt shaky so I suspected the wheelset was loose, then I checked the wheels but everything was fine! Until I met them at Haji Nawi I asked Rio whether my wheelset was centered or not, he said that at first, everything was fine, but a few minutes later, he said my downtube had split in half (ꐦㅍ _ㅍ) "SIAPA NYANGKA ANJIR FRAMENYA YANG KEBELAH"
&I know it's been a while since the Cheru itself came out LT 2014. But I started using it more frequently in the last two months with a street setup, while previously all setups were keirin-style.
In the last couple of months I have no regrets using it... What I really regret is not using it more often before.
Has any Sentimental value to me? Yes&no.
Why? Because this bike itself is rarely used but has won several #bikeporn_competitions.
In the early 2010s, there were several #bikeporn_competitions, which I think is a stupid idea now; if the competition isn't included in the riders story and is only based on the rarity of the bike.
The best bike is a bike that has history and characteristics with the rider, not only based on how expensive it is or how weird "rare" is your bike.
Cheru was built to be the rare bike, combining Campagnolo NJS and Cinelli NJS (🇮🇹×🇯🇵) parts. These parts are one the rarest on the market, and it's rare for people to make them completely perfect. But still lack with personality of me
