★summary: Yunho is the mafia boss that everyone in the city is afraid of. But can he pass by a fragile, innocent, naive girl? He didn't even think that saving her was a big mistake. But he will want to protect her from the whole world, but....what are his actions?
★author's note: This is my first fanfiction, so please. I do not know why I wanted to write about the mafia, but....get it, and read it with pleasure. It doesn't reflect the real Yunho in any way. Ily♡ the fanfic is long, and there will probably be three parts ♥︎
Long part!!
[English is not my native language, if there are mistakes, then sorry]

You were still standing still.
Isn't that him?
"Little one, open it. It's me," he repeatedYou slowly walked to the door, wiping away your tears, and opened the door.
You opened it slowly, as if you were still unsure if it was worth it.
Yunho was standing in front of you.
He looked calm, but there was darkness in his eyes. His hands were wearing black gloves, and there wasn't a single trace of blood on his clothes, as if nothing had just happened. Behind him stood two other men, equally menacing, silent, and in perfectly fitting suits.
Yunho glanced at you, noticed red-rimmed eyes, trembling lips.
"Are you scared, baby?" His voice was low, almost gentle. You nodded convulsively. Yunho stepped closer, reached out, and gently wiped a tear from your cheek with his thumb.
"It's over,— he said softly —They won't hurt you anymore."
You swallowed, feeling his warmth seep into your skin. "Y—you... killed them?"
Yunho smiled slowly, but there was nothing reassuring about it. "Is it important?"
You froze, not knowing what to say.
"The main thing is that you're safe,— he added, cocking his head slightly to one side —Разве ты не об этом просила? Ты плакала?"
His voice was quiet, almost gentle, but there was something about it that made my stomach churn. You looked down, unable to respond.
"They scared you, didn't they?" His fingers gently brushed a tear from your cheek.
You nodded, not daring to look up. Yunho sighed as if holding back his anger, then without waiting for permission, he gently pulled you inside, slamming the door behind him, right in front of his men who were probably clearing out these men. .
You flinched as the door closed with a soft click, cutting you off from the outside world. Yunho didn’t let go of your wrist, his fingers were warm but his grip was tight, as if he didn’t want you to move away.
"A fragile little girl, living alone." His voice was quiet, almost mocking. "Is it safe?"
You opened your mouth to protest, but he suddenly ran his fingers down your cheek, causing you to freeze.
"You're shaking," he said quietly. You didn't know if it was from fear or from his touch.
“I... just got scared,” you whispered.
Yunho looked at you for a long time, hard, and then suddenly leaned closer, his lips almost at your ear.
"You have nothing to be afraid of now, baby," his voice was so quiet that it sent shivers down her spine.
You were silent, then quietly said: “Thank you...”
Yunho smiled, his fingers sliding over your wrist before he slowly let go.
«"You're so polite," he drawled, looking at you as if studying you. You looked down, feeling your heart still pounding in your chest. "You should be more careful," he added, frowning slightly. "People like you are too naive for this world."
You clenched your hands into fists.
“I... can handle it,” you whispered.
Yunho chuckled, then suddenly leaned closer, looking into your eyes.
“You think you can protect yourself?” His voice was quiet, but there was mockery in it. You didn’t know what to say. He was right. You really couldn’t protect yourself if he hadn’t come…
“You called me, didn’t you?” he continued, his fingers brushing your cheek again, gently but firmly.
You nodded again, unable to speak. Yunho ran his thumb over the corner of your lips, as if wiping away invisible tears, and then leaned in even closer.
"Remember, baby," his voice was quiet, almost hoarse, "if anything happens, call me right away. Don't wait. Don't try to handle it yourself."
You swallowed, feeling his breath on your skin, and barely whispered:
"Fine ..."
He was silent, then suddenly pulled you to him, taking you in his arms.
You froze, feeling his arms hug you tightly, but at the same time gently. The warmth of his body, the smell of expensive perfume — all this made you forget where you are.
—Quiet," he whispered, stroking your back.
"It's all over now. " You snuggled closer to him, even though you didn't realize it. His heart was still racing, but it wasn't just from fear anymore. —I... I was really scared," you confessed, squeezing the fabric of his shirt with your fingers. Yunho ran his hand through your hair, gently fingering the strands as if trying to calm you down.
—I know, baby,— his voice was soft, but there was something dark about it, something that made you flinch. You slowly raised your head, meeting his gaze. Yunho's dark eyes glittered with something dangerous, predatory..
."They won't bother you anymore,— he added softly. You suddenly realized that he was saying it for a reason. He really didn't leave those people unpunished.
—Yunho..." you whispered. But he just put his finger on your lips.
"Don't think about it,— he said softly.
"Just rest. I'm with you." You were silent in his arms, then he said to you,
"Where is your bedroom?"
You hesitated a bit, but still answered softly,
"Here..." you pointed towards the door leading to your small room. Yunho, without opening his arms, gently led you there. Opening the door, he looked around your cozy space — a soft blanket on the bed, warm light from a desk lamp, a bookshelf filled with novels and old editions. He led you to the bed and gently sat you down.
—Get down," his voice sounded calm, but there was an authority in it that made you obediently obey for some reason. You lay down, and Yunho sat down on the edge of the bed, watching you closely.
"You haven't even had dinner," he said thoughtfully, gently straightening a stray strand of your hair. You shook your head
"I didn't want to..." you confessed, your voice still quiet from the stress. Yunho chuckled, his fingers slowly sliding over your cheek.
"You're too fragile, baby..." he smiled, but there was something deep in his eyes.
"Go to sleep. I'll stay here". You blinked in surprise.
"Here?" He nodded. —Until you fall asleep,— his voice was soft but firm. You didn't know if you should argue, but his presence somehow calmed you down. You closed your eyes, and soon sleep began to slowly envelop you. And Yunho... he stayed by your side, watching you in the dark. And I felt something touch your cheek..
(He kissed you)
But you didn't know what it was., But she ignored it, curled up on her side, and felt a warm touch on her cheek, barely perceptible, soft, like a ghostly dream. What was that? Sleepy consciousness did not allow you to think about it for a long time, and you just curled up, snuggling on your side. Yunho was watching you in the dark, his gaze thoughtful, almost gentle. He ran his finger through your stray lock, then leaned back, continuing to sit next to you.
"Sleep, baby," he whispered softly, barely audible. You didn't answer, already sinking into a deep, safe sleep, not knowing that he hadn't left, staying by your side like your invisible guardian.

Morning light filtered through the curtains, flooding the room with a soft golden glow. You turned on your side and your heart stopped.
Yunho.
He was still here. He was sitting in an armchair by the window, casually leaning back, with his eyes closed. He was holding a phone in his hands, but it seemed like he was either napping or just resting. You didn't even hear when he fell asleep. Has he been here all this time? You carefully sat up, pulling the blanket up to your chin. At that moment, Yunho opened his eyes and, noticing your gaze, smiled lazily.
"Good morning, baby."
Did you get enough sleep? His voice was hoarse from sleep, but still warm and commanding. For a moment, you tried to remember the events of last night... Yunho... men... fear... his embrace..
."You...Sleeping in an armchair?" Yunho stretched lazily, not taking his eyes off you. "Where else?" He chuckled. I couldn't leave you alone after everything that happened
You looked down, clutching the edge of the blanket in your hands.
"But... it was uncomfortable for you," you mumbled. Yunho just grinned, getting up easily from his chair.
"I'm not worried about that, but about how you feel, baby," he came closer, and you felt your heart quicken its rhythm.
"You're still afraid, aren't you?" You nodded silently, remembering the horror when the men were banging on the door. Yunho sighed, sitting down on the edge of the bed.
"I'll handle it." And you just... don't think about it anymore, okay? His fingers gently touched your cheek, as if he wanted to make sure you were safe. You looked at him, feeling a strange warmth from his words.
—Thank you...— you whispered.
Yunho smiled a little, his fingers lingered on your cheek.
"You're too cute,— he muttered, but then he took his hand away and stood up.
"Will you have breakfast?" You blinked, realizing that you hadn't even thought about food the whole time.
—Oh... yeah, I guess…" Yunho nodded.
—Then go wash up, and I'll see what you have in the fridge." You frowned a little.
"Are you going to cook?" He grinned as he headed for the kitchen.
"Don't you trust me?" You didn't know how to answer that.
He seemed so... unpredictable.
Strict, dangerous, but at the same time caring. You got out of bed and headed to the bathroom, trying not to think too much. When you returned, the apartment already smelled of something delicious.
Yunho was standing at the stove, in a relaxed pose, as if he hadn't done this for the first time. "I didn't know you could cook," you said, coming closer. He glanced at you briefly.
"There are a lot of things you don't know about, baby." You lowered your eyes, sitting down at the table. Why does he call you that? Yunho placed a plate of scrambled eggs and toast in front of you, then sat down across from you, watching you.
—Eat,— he said quietly.

You need to regain your strength. You picked up your fork, but you couldn't shake the feeling that he was watching you too closely. After breakfast, you said,
"I have to go to the library...I'll change, and you stay here for now," you said before going to your room. You're wearing that dress again, When you came out, he looked down at you, "Don't you have any other clothes?" He asked,
"Is there. It's just that Grandma Lee prefers such outfits.." You said,
"'Isn't it too short?'" He said threateningly, pulling you sharply by the waist and froze, not expecting such a sharp reaction.
—Yunho..." your voice was low, almost a whisper. He stared at you intently, his hand gripping your waist tightly, his fingers slightly tightening, as if checking how fragile you were. "Do you really wear this to work?" His voice sounded hoarse, with obvious displeasure. You lowered your eyes slightly, feeling your heart beat faster.
— Yes... Grandma Lee says that such outfits create a cozy atmosphere.… " Yunho grinned, but there was something dangerous in his eyes. "The atmosphere? Or do they draw attention to your legs?" You felt yourself blushing.
"Yunho, you're... saying strange things."… He slowly ran his fingers along your waist before releasing you as abruptly as he had grabbed you.
"I'll give you a ride." You blinked, trying to process his words.
- what?.. " He's already headed for the exit, not even giving you a chance to refuse
. "You're not going in there alone, especially not in that outfit."
You wanted to say, but..you resigned yourself, and left the house closing the door, and he opened the car door for you.
You hesitated for a moment, but when you caught his persistent gaze, you got into the car without a word. Yunho slammed the door behind you and got behind the wheel. The interior smelled of something expensive, a light men's perfume that pleasantly turned my head. You stole a glance at him.
He looked focused, his hands were steady on the steering wheel, and his jaw was slightly tense.
"Are you always this obedient?" he suddenly asked, without taking his eyes off the road. You blinked, not knowing how to respond.
—I just... don't see the point in arguing," you said softly. Yunho chuckled as if your words amused him.
"Good girl," his voice sounded a little lower than usual, and for some reason those words made you feel hot. You turned to the window, choosing to ignore his tone.

A few minutes later, the car stopped smoothly at the library.
"I'll pick you up after work," he said, turning to you. You're frowning.
"You don't need to…" He slowly leaned closer, his gaze darkening.
— It's not up for discussion." You were silent, then....
"How long have you known Grandma Li?"
Yunho was silent for a while, then leaned back in his seat, looking at you intently.
"A long time ago,— he finally replied, his voice calm, but there was a shadow of something elusive in it. You're frowning.
—Does she... know a lot about you?" He chuckled a little.
—Enough to trust me."
You looked at him, then at the library.
— Grandma Lee is a good person…
—Very much,— he agreed, studying your face. — That's why it's strange to me that she leaves such a... defenseless girl here" . You pursed your lips.
"I'm not defenseless" . Yunho leaned in slightly closer, his gaze riveted you to the spot.
"ou have no idea how vulnerable you are, sweetheart. You swallowed hard, unable to look away. At that moment, he opened his door and got out, then walked around the car and opened your door.
—Go, don't keep Grandma waiting,— his voice sounded softer, but something in his expression suggested that this conversation wasn't over yet.

You quickly approached the counter, trying to hide your confusion.
—Good morning, Grandma Lee," you said, forcing a smile.
The old lady looked at you carefully over the top of her glasses and squinted slightly.
—Good morning, child. You look thoughtful". You looked down, wondering if you should tell her about yesterday. But before you could say anything, Grandma Lee chuckled softly.
"Did he scare you?" You raised your head in surprise.
"Yunho?" She nodded, adjusting her glasses. "He's weird, isn't he?" You mumbled, remembering his look and words. Grandma Li just smiled mysteriously.
—He's... special,— she said. "But if he's around, no one will dare touch you." You're frowning. "What does that mean?" The old lady just waved her hand.
"Come on, child, enough questions. We have a lot of work to do today."
You knew that Grandma Lee wasn't telling you something, but you decided not to insist. You couldn't stop thinking about Yunho anyway. You asked her,
"who is he anyway? Why...Is everyone afraid of him..?"
Grandma Li froze for a moment, then slowly took off her glasses and looked at you.
"Child, do you really not know who he is?"
You shook your head, feeling anxiety rising inside. The old lady sighed and looked away.
—Yunho is a dangerous man. He's not someone to joke with or argue with. In this city, they are afraid of him for a reason." You swallowed, and your heart began to beat faster.
—Is he... a criminal?" Grandma Lee hesitated, then replied:
"He's the law in this town.
Those words took your breath away. You remembered how easily he dealt with those men, how confidently he moved, as if he knew that no one would dare to contradict him.
—Is he... a mobster?" — You whispered. Grandma Lee just nodded.
— But if he chose to protect you, then you are not just a random person for him." Those words made you clench your fingers nervously. What does it mean? Why is he next to you? You couldn't believe your ears when you asked,
"him...Is he a Mafia?"
"The Mafia boss," she replied
You felt a chill run down your spine.
—G-the leader?.. " You gasped, looking at your grandmother in complete shock.
She just nodded, as if this fact was familiar to her.
"He runs this town, child. They are afraid of him, but they respect him. No one dares cross his path." You nervously clenched your fingers on your apron.
Everything that happened last night has a different meaning now.
Those men, their screams... Yunho... the shot… —But why... why is he helping me?" Your voice was shaking. Grandma Li looked at you with a slight smile.
—Can't you see for yourself? He's interested in you. " Those words made your heart tremble. You didn't know what scares you more
—the very thought of being protected by the city's top mafia boss, or the fact that he might have some plans for you.…"
Grandma told you not to think too much, and told you to go sort out the books. You nodded and went to the shelves..Yunho is a mafia boss. This thought was spinning in my head.
You continued to stack the books. It's been a few hours, it was already lunch, you were still sorting books, but...
you felt someone's arms hug you from behind, you shuddered, your heart started beating faster.
A warm breath touched your ear.
"You're working so hard, baby,— Yunho's familiar voice sounded.
You froze, feeling his arms tighten around your waist.
—Yunho..." you said softly, trying to turn around, but he wouldn't let you, just leaned closer.
He didn't ask about it, but his one hand went lower, slightly lifting the hem of your dress.
"Are you still showing off your hips..?" He asked, and abruptly grabbed his wrist, feeling his heart pounding.
"Yunho..." your voice faltered, but you looked at him anyway. His eyes were dark, intent, as if he was studying your every reaction.
"I'm just working," you whispered, trying to stay calm. He grinned, but didn't take his hand away.
"Is that the dress you work in?" His fingers moved slowly over the fabric. You pressed your lips together, not knowing what to say. Grandma Lee had chosen this outfit herself... but now you were beginning to understand why he reacted the way he did.You remembered how he talked about this outfit in the morning, but.
"What's the big deal...?" you said, trying to pull away from his embrace.
Yunho squeezed your waist a little harder, not letting you escape.
"You really don't understand?" His voice dropped, almost to a whisper. You looked at him stubbornly, but your cheeks were flushed. "It's just a dress..."— you mumbled, but even you felt how uncertain it sounded. Yunho chuckled, leaning closer to your ear.
"It's just a dress that reveals too much... and attracts unnecessary attention." His fingers slowly traced the hem before he finally pulled his hand away.
You finally managed to slip out of his arms, taking a step back.
"Grandma Lee chose him," you muttered, not knowing how else to justify yourself. Yunho nodded slowly, looking at you as if he was deciding something for himself.
—So starting tomorrow, you're going to wear whatever I choose," he said calmly.
You said, "I won't...It's cute, I like it, it's working.." Yunho narrowed his eyes, his gaze darkened, but there was still a grin on his lips. "So you like it when other men look at you?" His voice was soft, but there was an undercurrent of menace in it. You're tense.
—I... I'm not wearing it for them," you objected, crossing your arms over your chest.
"It's just a uniform, and Grandma Lee chose it herself. "
Yunho took a step forward, closing the distance between you again.
— And if I say that I don't like it?" He leaned closer, his breath brushing your cheek. You pressed your lips together, trying to look confident.
"That's my job, Yunho. I care what Grandma Lee thinks, not you."
He froze for a second, then chuckled.
"You're stubborn,— he finally said, studying you with his eyes. —Okay... let's see how long you can resist."
What did he mean by that? You wanted to ask, but he had already turned to leave.
"I'll come back for you tonight, baby. Don't go home alone," he said over his shoulder and disappeared through the door.

Yunho drove in silence, gripping the steering wheel a little harder than usual. Your stubborn phrase was spinning in my head:
"This is my job, it's important to me what Grandma Lee thinks, not you."
He didn't like it.
He knew that you were naive, that you didn't understand how fragile you were in this world, especially around him.
Your stubborn nature amused him, but also annoyed him.
A few minutes later, the car stopped in front of an old barn, a place where his people gathered to discuss business. As soon as he came out, they were already waiting for him.
"Boss, we've dealt with those who molested the girl," one of the people immediately said, standing at the entrance. Yunho just nodded.
— good. There should be no more such incidents.
"And the people who ordered her abduction? What is it?" the other asked cautiously. Yunho slowly looked up at him.
- what? " The guy swallowed nervously.
— We found out... it was ordered. They wanted to kidnap her, boss."
Silence.
Yunho clenched his jaw. Did he know that your fragility could attract not only ordinary street scum, but an order?
This is serious.
"Who?" His voice was low, but everyone knew what was coming.
— We're still looking, but... it's one of the competitors" Yunho turned around and kicked the chair next to him, scattering papers from the table.
— Find them. Immediately. And the security around her is now around the clock. I don't want her to know, but she needs to be safe."
People nodded, running to obey the order. Yunho exhaled, closing his eyes. Now he knew for sure.
You belong to him.
Belong to him.
And no one else dares to even think about you.
Then his chief of staff, Kenya, asks him
"Should we put guards around her house? Around the clock?" yunho asked, exhaling, still angry, but now coldly reasonable.
- yes. But so she wouldn't notice. I don't want her to be scared."
Kenya nodded.
— Let's do it. By the way, boss, have you told her who you are yet?"
Yunho chuckled, running his fingers over his face.
— No.
—And what will you do when she finds out?"
Yunho thought for a second.
He saw the way you looked at him this morning with a little doubt, but not with fear. If you find out the truth, you might get scared. You may want to leave.
But he won't allow it.
"She'll know when the time comes,— he replied coldly.
Kenya just grinned.
"You're acting different with her, boss."
Yunho looked at him sharply, and he immediately fell silent.
"I just don't want anyone else to touch her. She's mine." Yunho's voice was firm.
— That's it, go. Do what you need to do."
Kenya nodded and left.
Yunho sat back down, leaning back in his chair, rubbing his temples. You have no idea what kind of game you're involved in. And most importantly, you don't even realize that you have only one way out now. Stay by his side.

You blinked out of your thoughts and turned to her.
"It's just that there aren't many visitors today, and I'm tired," she smiled softly, slapping you on the shoulder
"Go home and get some rest.
You nodded, putting the last books on the shelf. — good."
Quickly putting the library in order, you took your things and went outside. It was already beginning to get dark. You were walking home, but the feeling that someone was watching you did not leave.
You've quickened your pace. Suddenly, there was the sound of footsteps from behind.
You're holding your breath.
No one.
Yunho said he'd pick you up, but he didn't come...
You kept going, already seeing your home.
You quickly climbed the steps and took out your keys, but before you put them in the keyhole, you heard the sound of approaching footsteps behind you. Your heart is squeezed with fear.
You turned around abruptly…
And again, no one. You swallowed, forcing yourself to calm down.
—Nerves... just nerves," - you muttered to yourself, finally opening the door and stepping inside.
Locking the door, you leaned back against it and exhaled.
But as soon as you took a step deeper into the apartment, someone spoke in the dark...
"You took a long time."
Who..
who is this..?
You froze.
your heart started pounding.
In the darkness, a silhouette slowly walked forward, and the moonlight from the window illuminated a familiar face.
Yunho.
He was sitting in your house, in your armchair, comfortably sprawled out, as if he had always been here.
"You weren't expecting me?" His voice was low, calm, but there was an undercurrent of menace in it. You swallowed.
"I... thought you were going to pick me up, but…
"But I didn't come,— he finished for you, tilting his head to the side, examining you. You felt a chill run down your spine.
"How did you get here?" You asked, not taking your eyes off him.
He grinned, got up from his chair, and slowly walked over to you.
— Little one, do you really think that your castle is an obstacle for me?You gasped. How did he get in here?"
But...Yunho chuckled, looking at your stunned face.
— I told you, baby, there are no barriers for me". You took a step back, but he was already there, slowly raising his hand and tucking a stray strand of hair behind your ear.
"Are you afraid of me?" His voice was low, but there was a hint of mockery in it. You looked away.
—N-no… " He leaned in closer, his lips too close to your ear.
"You're lying,— he whispered.
You swallowed, trying to collect your thoughts. His presence was too... oppressive.
"What do you want, Yunho?" Your voice was shaking, but you tried to sound confident. He tilted his head slightly, studying you.
"I told you, I'll pick you up." You left alone, and I don't like it.
—I don't have to...— you trailed off as he stepped closer, forcing your back against the door.
"You don't have to, but I'm not asking," his voice was soft, but there was a threat in it. His fingers slowly traced your cheek, then he bent down, looking into your eyes.
"Remember, baby, I don't like being disobeyed."
You said, looking up at him, —"You didn't come yourself, should I have waited for you outside?"
Yunho chuckled, but there was a hint of annoyance in his eyes.
"You could have just waited. I didn't say I wasn't coming." You pursed your lips, frowning. I couldn't have known that. He tilted his head as if pondering your words, then sighed, running his palm over the back of his head.
— Next time, wait. Or I'll come and find you myself." His voice was low, warning.
You didn't answer, but your look said you didn't like it. Yunho saw it. He smiled out of the corner of his lips.
"You're too stubborn."… But I like it. You still couldn't figure out how he came into your apartment..how he got in here...and really how?!
With what intentions?!
"Tell me how did you get in there?" You asked, and Yunho grinned, tilting his head to the side as if he was amused by your question.
"Little girl, do you really think that an ordinary lock can stop me?"
You frowned, puzzled.
"So... you broke down the door?"
"The door?" — He chuckled. —"Not really." You felt a chill down your spine. Yunho came closer, lowering himself to your ear, his voice was quiet, but there was a dangerous note in it.
"Let's keep this my little secret, okay?"
You asked,
"Don't you have your own house? Why do you come every day..?" Yunho chuckled, his eyes sparkling with obvious amusement.
— Don't you like that I'm coming?" You wanted to answer, but he didn't give you a second. — Or maybe you like it on the contrary?" His voice became a little lower, and his gaze became more intense. You rolled your eyes, determined not to succumb to his provocations.
"You didn't answer the question." Yunho chuckled, unhurriedly undoing the button on his sleeve.
— Of course there is. It's big and beautiful... but it's empty. But here... it's more interesting to me.You frowned at his reply. "
More interesting?" You asked, crossing your arms over your chest.
"What do you mean?" Yunho stepped closer, forcing you to step back. "Isn't it obvious?" He leaned a little closer, his voice soft, but there was something predatory in it.
"I'm interested in watching you."
You swallowed, not knowing how to react.
—That... sounds weird," you mumbled, avoiding his gaze. Yunho chuckled softly.
"Maybe. But you're not going to kick me out anyway. "
You opened your mouth to protest, but he's right. You won't kick he out. And you didn't understand why.
You said,
"You won't leave anyway, even if I kick you out.." Yunho grinned, his dark eyes flashing with something incomprehensible.
—That's right,— he sounded smug.
"So don't waste your energy, little one. You sighed, rubbing your temples tiredly. "What am I supposed to do now?" To put up with you barging in on me whenever you feel like it? He approached, gently touching your chin, forcing you to look up.
—Exactly,— he whispered, his fingers lazily sliding over your cheek.
"Get used to it, doll."
You walked away from him to go into your room to change, and he glanced at your dresses and said nothing.
——-—
Yunho entered without knocking, as if it was his house. He lazily leaned against the doorjamb, arms crossed over his chest, and looked at you intently.
"Are you going to stay here all night?" His voice was a little mocking, but there was a clear confidence in it that you couldn't ignore him. You turned away, trying not to meet his eyes.
"This is my room, I can do whatever I want," you muttered. Yunho chuckled, but didn't leave. Instead, he came closer and, unexpectedly for you, sat next to you on the bed.
"You're funny,— he said, cocking his head to the side.— "Do you think you can hide from me in your own room?"
You said softly,
"You're scaring me...by their behavior..." Yunho was silent for a moment, then his gaze darkened.
"Am I scaring you?" His voice was low, almost a whisper.
You nodded, still not daring to look at him. He suddenly reached out and gently brushed a lock of hair from your face. That touch was so careful that you couldn't help but hold your breath.
"I don't want you to be afraid of me,— he said seriously. — But I'm not going to change either."
You swallowed, not knowing what to say.
"You have to get used to me, little one," he added, leaning a little closer. "Because I'm not going to disappear from your life."
You weren't used to someone behaving like that around you..
"Do whatever you want.." You said, Yunho chuckled, clearly pleased with your answer.
—That's what I was going to do,— he said, watching you with predatory confidence. You turned away, trying to ignore his presence, but you could feel his eyes on you. It was a strange feeling—disturbing, but at the same time... fascinating. You pretended to be busy, adjusted your pillow, and went to the closet, but it didn't move.
"What are you going to do?" You finally asked, unable to stand it.
"I'll stay here," he replied simply.
"Until you get used to me." You wanted to object, but you didn't. And she went to the kitchen to make coffee for herself. When you went to the kitchen table and took a cup, but...
Yunho came in and hugged you from behind, you froze, feeling his warm breath in your ear. His embrace was confident, commanding, and at the same time, there was something... strangely comforting about it.
"You're tired," he said, his voice low and soft. — Maybe you won't drink coffee?" You clutched the cup in your hands, not knowing what to say.
—I need to,— you finally managed.
—Then do it for me,— he whispered, leaning closer. You felt goosebumps running down your skin.
He was acting like that again... too close, too domineering.
"You're taking too much on yourself,— you tried to pull away, but his arms only tightened around your waist.
—I just care about you, little one," with this phrase, he gently touched your neck with his lips, almost weightlessly.
You flinched, not knowing how to react. You wanted to take the coffee, but he still wouldn't let go of his arms, continuing to hug you from behind.
You sighed, feeling him holding you, not even allowing you to move.
— Yunho… I need to get some coffee," you said softly, hoping that he would finally let go.
—And I need you to just stand there," his voice sounded lazy, but there was a firmness in it that brooked no argument. You swallowed hard.
"You... you do understand that you can't do that, don't you?"
- why?"
He tilted his head slightly, his lips brushing your ear. "I like holding you in my arms." You tightened your grip on the cup, but he suddenly smoothly turned you around, forcing you to look into his dark eyes.
"You've already realized that I'm not the type to listen to refusals, haven't you?" His voice was low, almost gentle, but there was danger in it. You didn't know what to say. His face was too close.
You could feel his breath, the warmth of his skin, and your heart suddenly skipped a beat. Yunho slowly leaned in, closer, closer…
His lips were almost touching yours, but at the last moment he froze, carefully peering into your eyes.
"You're trembling," he whispered, the corners of his lips twitching slightly in a hint of a smile. You couldn't pull away or move. His whole body felt numb, paralyzed by his presence.
"Say no,— his voice was low, hypnotic. —"And I'll stop."
But you were silent. You said softly,
—"n-no...it's wrong..." Yunho froze for a second, his eyes darkened, but then he slowly pulled away, leaving a slight coolness where his hands had been a moment ago. "
Wrong?" His voice was calm, but there was something dangerous in it.
"Do you really think so?" You nodded, not daring to look up. He exhaled softly, as if restraining himself, and then stepped back, allowing you to finally take a cup of coffee.
—Okay,— he said evenly, —"but next time, don't provoke me if you're not ready." You didn't know what to say to that, so you just turned away, taking a sip of the hot drink, trying to stop your hands from shaking. You said,
"I didn't provoke you..You're the one who's bothering me.." His face turned out to beYunho chuckled, but there was no mockery in his gaze — rather, there was something dark, exploring.
"Me?" Am I bothering you?" He took a slow step toward you, forcing you to lean against the kitchen table.
"Is it my fault that you're so cute in your dress?" Why are you looking at me like you don't understand what you're doing to me? You clutched the cup in your hands, trying not to show your trembling.
—I don't...— You faltered when he leaned closer, but suddenly, instead of hugging you again, he just took the cup of coffee from your hands and took a sip.
"Too sweet,— he muttered, setting the cup down on the table. —Just like you." You stood there in a daze, not knowing what to say. He was acting like he was allowed to do anything again. But what bothered you more was that a part of you didn't mind at all.
You finished your coffee and left the kitchen, "Do you want to stay again today?" You asked, Yunho lazily leaned against the doorway, watching you with a smirk.
"And if I want to?" His voice was low, almost purring. You rolled your eyes, but you could feel the tension inside. He really could have stayed, even if you were against it.
"You have your own house," you reminded him, crossing your arms over your chest. He tilted his head slightly, as if pondering your words
. — There is. But I like it here." You sighed heavily, realizing that it was pointless to argue with him.
—Do whatever you want," you muttered and headed for your room.
"I'm already doing it, little one," — you heard his pleased voice after him. You quickly changed into your soft pajamas—cozy, but with cute details that only emphasized your fragility.
Warmth enveloped you, and you breathed a sigh of relief as you climbed onto the bed. But as soon as you settled in, the door creaked softly.
You looked up and saw Yunho. He was standing in the doorway, arms crossed over his chest, squinting at you.
"You look too..." he didn't finish his sentence, but his tone made you swallow nervously. "What do you want again?" You tried to sound confident, but your voice still faltered. He took a step forward, then another.
"To take a closer look at you," he replied calmly. You quickly sat down when he came to the bed, but before you could react, he was already climbing up to you, leaning on his hands on either side of your body.
—Yunho...— your voice dropped to a whisper as he slowly leaned closer.
—Hush,— he whispered, and then, without letting you dodge, he bent down to your neck. You felt a hot breath touch your skin. He ran the tip of his nose over your collarbone, and then lightly touched his lips to your neck, barely perceptibly, but enough to send shivers down your spine.
"Do you know what you look like now?" His voice sounded a little hoarse. You didn't answer, just tried to move away, but he immediately pressed you harder against the pillow, not allowing you to leave.
You said, frowning, "you're scaring me.."
"sleep" he say.

You slowly opened your eyes, feeling the sun's rays coming through the curtains. Your body was relaxed, but as soon as you turned on your side, you felt warmth next to you.
Yunho.
He was lying on the bed, slightly turned away from you, one hand under his head, the other lying casually on the blanket. His breathing was steady, calm.
You froze.
Was he... was he here all night? You were sure he was going to sleep in an armchair.
You carefully got up, hoping to slip out of bed, but before you could move, his hand abruptly grabbed your wrist.
"Where to?" His voice was hoarse from sleep, but that only made it sound more commanding.
"Um... wash up?" You swallowed, trying not to show your excitement. Yunho opened one eye, looked at you, and smiled faintly.
"It's still early."
"For what purpose?" — In order to get up.
—But...— you hesitated, but he pulled you back, forcing you to sink back onto the pillow.
"Lie down a little longer," he muttered, closing his eyes.
You froze, feeling his hand still holding you. What's going on anyway? At least he didn't sleep hugging you, and that's for the best. You told yourself. "Why are you doing this to me?" You asked, Yunho did not immediately respond. He lazily opened his eyes, looked at you, and then suddenly stretched, forcing you to press a little harder against the bed.
"What do you mean?" His voice was calm, but there was a hint of mockery in it. You pursed your lips.
"You're acting like you have a right to me..."… Yunho stared at you in silence for a few long seconds before chuckling and leaning a little closer.
—And if it is?" You felt your stomach tighten.
- what?.."
He ran his fingers over your cheek, making you feel how warm and confident his touch was. "You know the answer, little one."
You asked, "Are you coming to me...You always stay, since the day you came to the library, you've been messing with me..Don't you have anything to do? It's time for you to get married in your thirties. Or do your mafia jobs."
He froze. He didn't know that you found out that he was a mafia boss, he didn't want to tell you that. But you found out yesterday who he really is...
"Who told you that?" He asked, looking with an icy gaze, having already woken up from sleep,
You swallowed, feeling the tension in the air. Yunho no longer looked relaxed or mocking — now his gaze was sharp, cold, piercing through. — What's the difference? " You replied carefully, pulling away from him and sitting up on the bed. He grabbed your wrist abruptly, forcing you to look into his eyes again.
"I asked who told you that." You shuddered involuntarily, but then you pulled yourself together.
—Grandma Lee,— you confessed, knowing it was pointless to lie to him.
Yunho pursed his lips, his fingers on your wrist tightened slightly, but he immediately released you, getting out of bed.
—Damn old woman...— he muttered to himself, running his hand through his hair. You're frowning.
"Don't you dare talk about her like that!" He turned abruptly to you, his eyes flashing with dark fire.
"Do you have any idea who you're messing with?" His voice was low, menacing. You bit your lip, but you answered firmly.: — If you were hoping that I would be terrified and run away, then I'm sorry, but that's not going to happen". Yunho slowly chuckled.
"You have no idea what you've gotten yourself into, little one."
You said, "I am...If I don't even know, I... just don't see you as a stranger because Grandma Lee knows you.."
Yunho looked at you carefully, his gaze softened, but the tension was still felt in the air. "Grandma Li knows me, but that doesn't mean you have to trust me,"— his voice was low, but not as threatening as before. You gripped the edge of your pajamas, lowering your head a little.
—I just... I don't see you as a stranger," you confessed softly. Yunho watched you in silence for a few seconds, and then suddenly sat down next to you on the bed, resting his hands on his knees.
"You're stupid," he breathed, shaking his head. You're frowning.
"Hey, that's rude! He grinned, but there was something else in his eyes-concern?
— I'm not just saying this. If you knew what kind of things I do, what kind of people are around me... you wouldn't be sitting here so calmly," he said, staring at you intently.
You thought about it, but you still didn't feel afraid.
"But you didn't do anything to hurt me."… Yunho chuckled, but this time his smile was kind of tired.
"Not yet,— he muttered, getting to his feet. "Get changed, I'll take you to the library."

In a few minutes, you were already in the car. [You're wearing the same clothes today anyway. The maid. Yunho was driving himself,
"How many years has it been since you're a mob boss?" You asked innocently.
Yunho was silent for a few seconds, holding the steering wheel tighter than usual. His gaze was on the road, but you noticed his jaw tighten.
"Too much,— he finally replied, without taking his eyes off the road. You tilted your head, watching his profile.
—you mean? How many exactly? " Yunho sighed, but still replied,
"Almost ten years."
You blinked in surprise.
"Ten?"
So you started doing this when you were... twenty? He nodded curtly, not wanting to go into details.
"But why?" — You continued, - You could have chosen another life.…"
Yunho chuckled, but there was no humor in that grin.
"I couldn't,— he said simply. —You don't know this world, doll. It's not as easy to get out of it as it is to get in. You're frowning.
"But you like it, don't you?" He gave you a quick glance, assessing how serious you were.
— Do I like being the one who is feared? The ones who make the decisions on which lives depend?
He chuckled. "Maybe." You thought about his words.
"You scare people... but not me,— you said honestly.
Yunho froze for a second, but then went back to driving.
"That's your problem, baby," he murmured.
"And sooner or later you'll figure out why."
"Go, Grandma Li is already waiting" he said.

The days went by like that, Yunho sometimes brought you, then generally stayed at your apartment, and sometimes there were days when he didn't stay, but you noticed his people around the house. A week has already passed, you were sorting books in the library, then you heard Grandma Lee calling you, and went to her.
"Honey, go home, we'll close early today," she said, and after a minute you closed the library and you headed home too.
Yunho didn't come, and you didn't want to wait for him, so you went home.
You were walking home, thinking about the day before, when you suddenly heard fast footsteps behind you.
Before you could turn around, strong hands grabbed you, pinching your mouth tightly. You wanted to scream, but your voice stuck in your throat when you were roughly thrown into a black car.
—Damn, hold her tight!" — one of the men growled, pushing you deeper into the salon. "Let me go!" "you tried to pull away, but their grip was too strong.
—We're saving you, girl, you don't even realize what trouble you're in," — the other chuckled, tightening his arms behind his back.
The car was speeding through the dark streets, and you just kept saying,
"Let me go... let me go."… But they weren't listening.
—Too loud," one of them grumbled, and then someone punched you painfully in the stomach, and you coughed in pain.
After a while, the car stopped abruptly.
"What happened?" An exasperated voice was heard.
—Yunho might notice that she's not there,— someone replied.
— Exactly. We need to hurry." — The door swung open and you were dragged out.
You tried to resist, but your strength was running out fast. They carried you deep into an abandoned building, the walls of which were soaked with dampness and fear.
"We need to leave a trail so that this bastard knows what was done to his girl," —one of them grinned.
You didn't have time to say anything, as a sharp pain shot through your head – a strong blow made the stars flash before your eyes. You fell to your knees, feeling the blood trickle down your cheek.
— Well, my beauty, will you remember this evening?" — Rude laughter rang out. One of the men took a blade and ran it over the skin, leaving a shallow but painful cut.
"That's enough, let's go," the chief ordered.
They're gone, leaving you lying on the cold floor. The world swam before your eyes, and the last thing you thought about before falling into darkness was: " Yunho... will he find me?"
You were crying, you couldn't stop, they...blood was running down your cheek, your body was shaking, fear was enveloping you, you were sitting on the cold concrete sobbing in pain and fear. You didn't do anything, why did they do that...
You couldn't stop crying even if you wanted to. The pain tore through your body, but the worst part was the realization that you hadn't done anything, and they'd hurt you anyway. You were afraid of the dark, and the abandoned building was filled with darkness, depressing and frightening. your eyes were already hurting from crying, and the blood wouldn't stop flowing down your arm and down your cheeks.
You tried to calm your breathing, but the sobs came out on their own. Her eyes burned with tears, and her body trembled, shaking with pain.
You wanted to get out your phone, call him... but your fingers wouldn't work. As if this simple task was too much. His arm lay limply on the floor, and his heart was pounding in his chest. And then…
* Steps.*
Footsteps...
sounded in the silence, echoing through the abandoned building. You tensed, covering your mouth with your hand so as not to make a sound.
Maybe they're back.
Maybe it's not enough for them what they've already done? The footsteps were getting closer. A dark figure appeared in the opening of the ruined wall. You froze.
And then u saw…
Kenya.
Did he find you?
Kenya stopped, examining you. His usually impassive face flickered for a moment, but immediately returned to its previous expression. He slowly came closer, and you involuntarily shrank back against the wall.
"They beat you up a lot," he said calmly, crouching down in front of you. You didn't answer, just looked at him with frightened, tear-stained eyes.
"Can you walk?" he asked, but when he saw how you barely moved your arm and immediately hissed in pain, he cursed briefly and leaned closer. You twitched, but Kenya calmly said,
"Don't be afraid, I'm here to pick you up." You wanted to say something, but your lips were trembling, the words stuck in your throat. Kenya gently picked you up, lifted you off the floor, and you involuntarily moaned in pain.
—Be patient,"— he said softly, coming out of the abandoned room. The cold air burned my skin, but it was nothing compared to the pain.
Kenya was walking briskly towards a black car parked nearby.
— Yunho..." — You whispered, barely finding the strength to speak.
"He's furious,— Kenya said, opening the back door.
It was warmer in the car than it was there.
"Like you...Did you find me..?" —You asked quietly, despite the pain, and I glanced at you in the rearview mirror.
"We've been watching you. We're always watching," he replied calmly, twisting the steering wheel.
You blinked, trying to process his words. Yunho ordered me to keep an eye on you.
—"You thought you were free, but in reality...— he chuckled, but without mockery, rather tiredly, —we're always there for you."
You swallowed hard, turning to the window. It was supposed to be scary, but after everything that happened, you couldn't feel anything but relief.
"Then why...— the voice was shaking —Why didn't you come earlier?"
Kenya was silent for a while, and then replied, —"We were distracted. It was a planned attack. They knew when you'd be alone."
You closed your eyes. So it wasn't a random attack. Someone was purposefully hunting you. — Yunho… He… "
"He's already waiting. And believe me, he's furious."
You squeezed your eyes shut weakly. You didn't know which was scarier, what happened to you... or what Yunho would do now.
You were crying anyway, from fear, from pain...this is the first time you've been raped like this.
"Why... him...Didn't come?" You asked Kenya, and Kenya gripped the steering wheel tighter, his fingers white with tension.
"He was looking for you,— he said dully. —We've been looking"
You sobbed, pressing yourself against the car door, as if you wanted to get smaller, to hide.
—They..." her voice was shaking, and tears were coming again. —They did it... and he wasn't there." Kenya exhaled heavily.
"He'll kill them. Every single one of them. "
You flinched. You didn't doubt it. But that didn't comfort you. The pain didn't go away. The fear wouldn't let go.
"I..." you gasped. "I can't."… "We're almost there,— he interrupted, and for the first time there was a hint of gentleness in his voice.
"Be patient." You squeezed your eyes shut, holding back your sobs. Yunho… What will he say? How will he look at you?
"He didn't know," —his voice was hard, tinged with rage.— "If only he knew where you were... Even hell wouldn't have kept him from going there sooner."
You were crying anyway, fear was still clutching your heart, and your body was convulsing with pain. The blood continued to flow down his arm and cheeks, but the tears did not stop. A few minutes later, the car slowed down and stopped. You looked up with tear-stained eyes and were surprised to see that Kenya had brought you not to Yunho's mansion, but to your house.
"Why... here?" your voice was weak, barely audible. Kenya looked at you, his dark eyes filled with tension. — Yunho will come by himself. He didn't want you to end up in his house in such a state.… He's...— Kenya clenched his jaw.— "He doesn't want you to feel like a hostage."
You sobbed, looking down.
"Can you walk?" he asked after a pause. You tried to open the door, but your fingers were shaking and your body felt heavy. It was difficult to even raise my hand. Kenya got out of the car without a word, walked around it, and opened the door for you.
"I'll help,— he said firmly. You didn't argue. He picked you up in his arms and walked home.
And the house was already surrounded by his people, but you couldn't see them, but you saw them..If Kenya is here, then so are his people...
He took the keys from your pocket and opened the door, closing it behind him...walking into your bedroom. Kenya came into the apartment holding you in his arms. He easily found the light switch, and the soft light flooded the room, but it didn't make you feel any better. You noticed that shadows were flickering outside the windows – his men surrounded the house.
They were here, hiding in the dark, guarding the entrance. So Yunho is somewhere nearby.… Kenya walked into your bedroom without a word, without asking for directions. He knew where to go. You were too exhausted to protest. His body ached, his lips trembled, and blood continued to flow down his arm and cheek. He gently lowered you onto the bed, but even that movement made you wince in pain.
"I'll call a doctor," he said shortly, getting out of bed.
- no... No need... — You barely breathed out. Kenya frowned at you, his jaw clenched.
"You're in no condition to be stubborn."
You closed your eyes, tears welled up in your eyes again.
— Yunho… Is he coming? This time, Kenya did not respond immediately. You heard his heavy intake of breath.
"He's on his way."
You saw him calling a doctor he probably already knows...you were still crying and shaking, in pain and fear...Kenya went out for a minute to say something to the guards, and then he came in. Kenya sat down next to you, examining your arm wounds and bruises, and slightly wiping the blood from your face, despite the fact that you were crying anyway, and then. The front door opened with a jerk, as if it had been opened with a blow...and fast, heavy footsteps along the corridor..Is that Yunho? What is his condition..?
————
The front door swung open with a bang, as if it had been knocked off its hinges.
Heavy, fast footsteps echoed loudly in the corridor, approaching with frightening speed. Tension hung in the air, thick as before a thunderstorm.
Kenya stood up abruptly, but even he looked wary. You turned your head weakly, already knowing who had entered.
Yunho.
He was standing in the doorway, and just the sight of him sent a chill of fear through me.
His eyes, usually calm, were now burning with rage, so dark that it was impossible to look into them for long. His jaw is clenched, and his hands are shaking with rage. His every breath was heavy and deep, as if he was trying to restrain himself from exploding right here and now.
"Who?" His voice was low, almost a growl. — Who. It is. Did it? "
You shuddered, his voice was bone-chilling. Kenya was silent, but his look said it all.
Yunho took a step forward, and then one more time, quickly and abruptly kneeling in front of you. His fingers touched your face, but there was no softness in that touch—just tension, held with the last of his strength.
His eyes darted over your wounds, your split cheek, your wrists, which were still shaking from the pain. You saw how his breathing faltered, how the vein in his neck twitched sharply.
—Yunho..." your voice was weak, broken. But he didn't seem to hear you.
He looked at you as if the whole world had collapsed in front of him.
"I'm going to kill them," he breathed, in a voice that had no doubt in it.The silence in the room was oppressive. You swallowed weakly, feeling a lump rise in your throat.
—Why... weren't you there?" Your voice was shaking.
Yunho froze.
A whole storm swept through his eyes—rage, guilt, helplessness.
"If I had known..." he closed his eyes for a moment, and then exhaled sharply.—"If only I knew...."
His hands clenched into fists, his knuckles turning white. —These bastards can't even imagine what awaits them," he hissed. He straightened up, looking at Kenya.
"Find them, every last one of them. I want them to beg for death when I find them."
Kenya nodded and immediately left without asking any questions. Yunho looked at you again.
"I'm sorry,— his voice faltered, but only for a moment.— "I'm sorry that I wasn't there for you. You sobbed again, and the tears began to flow with renewed vigor. Yunho slowly reached forward, gently hugging you to him. His arms were tense, and his breathing was labored.
"That's it, shh...I'm here,— his lips touched your head. — "I won't let anyone lay a finger on you anymore." But even in spite of his words, you could hear him whispering through his teeth over and over, like a spell:
"I'll kill them. I will kill every one of them."
You were still sobbing, clinging to him. From the pain, from the fear, it was the first time you were in such a state, beaten up..
"W-why people...such..?" You whispered through your tears, "I'm okay...I didn't do anything wrong.." Crying again, Yunho squeezed you tighter, his hands were shaking, but he held you as if he was trying to put all your broken parts back together. His breathing was heavy, and his heart was pounding fast, almost loudly.
—Humans are monsters,— his voice was low, hoarse with rage. — They know no boundaries if they are not put in their place."
You clutched at his shirt, feeling your body shake with sobs again.
"I... didn't do anything wrong..." your words were drowned in tears, and your heart was in pain. Yunho hugged you even tighter, leaning into your ear.
"You didn't do anything,— he whispered, his voice full of pain. —They're the scum who don't deserve a single drop of forgiveness. "
You sobbed, pressing yourself closer to him. "They'll never touch you again,— he said, sounding like an oath. –"Never."
He's going to kill them. Without remorse, without mercy. Because no one, no one has the right to touch his little, innocent girl.
"They're going to pay for this,— he hissed, his voice low, almost bestial. —"I swear they'll die slowly." You didn't know what to say. You just trembled in his arms, and he, overcome with rage, was already mentally cracking down on everyone who dared to touch you.
After that, the doctor came into the apartment...
And you, incredulously, did not let the PM touch you, snuggling up to Yunho, and hiding in his arms, the Doctor stepped inside, closing the door behind him. He had a black briefcase in his hands and an unflappable expression on his face. But as soon as he took a step closer to the bed, you instantly curled into a ball, snuggling up to Yunho and burying your face in his chest.
—Don't..." your voice was low, trembling, filled with fear. Yunho felt you clutching his shirt, and your trembling fingers told him more than any words.
"Get back," — he growled, looking at the doctor with an icy stare. He stopped, raising his hands in a conciliatory gesture.
"I need to treat her wounds," he said calmly. But you didn't want to. You couldn't let anyone else touch you. Your whole body ached, the marks of the blows were still burning, and every gesture caused you to have a new panic attack.
—Hush,— Yunho whispered, stroking your back. —"I'm here." You shook your head, still pressing into him.
"Do you trust me?" Yunho bent down gently, looking into your eyes.
You sobbed, but nodded slowly.
"Then let me help,— he ran his hand over your head. —"The doctor won't hurt you. I won't allow it."
You sat there for a while, clutching his shirt in your fists, and then slowly nodded. But you still didn't let go of Yunho when the doctor cautiously approached, taking out bandages and antiseptic.
—"She's afraid," he told the doctor dryly, a threat in his voice.— "Do something, but don't scare her. " The doctor nodded understandingly and carefully knelt down next to the bed, keeping his hands in plain sight so that you wouldn't be even more scared.
"It's okay,— his voice was soft. —"I just want to help."
You're hurt, you're in pain. But I won't hurt you." He said, taking out bandages, and you still haven't moved a millimeter away from Yunho, still hiding in his arms.
The Doctor acted cautiously, his movements were slow and careful. He didn't make any sudden gestures, realizing that any wrong move could cause you to have another panic attack. You were trembling, your fingers were still clutching Yunho's shirt, and he didn't even try to pull away. On the contrary, his arm tightened around you, creating a sense of security around you.
—Hush, baby,— he murmured, gently running his palm over your head. You felt his warmth, his strength, and it was the only thing that kept you from breaking down completely. The doctor carefully soaked the bandage with antiseptic and slowly approached.
"It may sting a little, but it will make you feel better,— he warned. You squeezed harder, but Yunho held you tight, not letting you get any more scared.
"It's okay," his voice was low, calm. "I'm right here." You took a deep breath, pressing your forehead against his chest, and allowed the doctor to begin treating the wounds.Like a kitten who was trying to get an injection, you shuddered with every touch of the doctor, then he took out a syringe.
You tensed up sharply when you saw the doctor take out a syringe. Your eyes widened, your breathing became short, and your hands clutched at Yunho's shirt convulsively, as if you were a frightened kitten that had been cornered.
—N-no...— you whispered in a trembling voice, clinging to him even more tightly. Yunho immediately felt your panic, and his hand went to your back, holding you tightly.
—Easy, baby," his voice was low but firm.
–"It's just an injection. He will help you."
You shook your head, tears welling up in your eyes again.
"I don't want to..." you sobbed, clutching the fabric of his clothes. The Doctor looked at Yunho, waiting for his decision. He sighed, running his palm over your back, trying to calm you down. "You want the pain to go away, don't you?" he asked, his voice softening. You nodded softly, but the fear wouldn't go away.
—Then trust me,— he leaned closer, his lips almost touching your ear. "I got you." Everything will be fine. You were trembling, but when he said that… You believed him.
You were still trembling, but gradually your sobs subsided, you felt Yunho's warmth, his palm on your back, his breath next to you. —Let's do this,— he suggested, stroking you. "Hold my hand, Just look at me" . You slowly raised your head, meeting his dark but warm gaze. He was a threat to the whole city, but now... now he was just your protection. The doctor, seeing that you had calmed down a little, carefully treated your wound.
You flinched from the touch, squeezing Yunho's hand until it hurt, but he didn't even flinch, just held you tighter.
"Well done, baby," he praised, and then… You felt a slight prick in your arm. You jumped up, but Yunho immediately hugged you tighter, his lips barely touching your temple.
"That's it, hush, hush..." his voice was low, almost lulling. You took a deep breath, holding yourself in check with the last of your strength. In a few seconds, it was all over.
"Good girl," he said, stroking your back. "You did well." You just nodded, clinging to him.
When the doctor got up, you abruptly snuggled up to Yunho again, as if you wanted to hide in his arms
."I wrote the pills, she has to take them, and... can I talk to you for a minute?" The doctor asked, Yunho pursed his lips in displeasure, his hand was still on your back, as if he didn't want to let you go even for a second.
You cringed even more, hiding in his arms as the doctor got to his feet. "What?" Yunho snapped, not moving from his seat.
—Alone," the doctor repeated calmly, nodding towards the door. Yunho looked at you, his gaze softened.
"I'll be right back, baby," he said, stroking your head. "I'm right here." But as soon as he tried to stand up, you gripped his shirt tighter, clenching your fists.
"D—don't go...— you whispered softly, your voice trembling. Yunho froze, and then gave the doctor a hard look.
— Speak here."
The Doctor sighed slightly, but did not argue.
— She has severe fatigue, stress, nervous exhaustion, plus injuries. The body is weakened. If you don't give her a rest, it can affect her recovery," —he began, looking at his notebook. — Pills for pain, for inflammation, sedative… She needs peace of mind. And… He hesitated.
"So what?" Yunho's voice darkened.
"She's afraid of any touch except yours,— the doctor added softly. "That's... not a good sign." Yunho inhaled slowly, his hands tightening slightly on you.
"I'll take care of her myself," his voice was firm, peremptory.
"Go away." The doctor just nodded, without asking any questions, and headed for the exit. You didn't hear the whole conversation, you were too tired, too exhausted, but when the door closed, you still didn't let go of Yunho.
"It's okay, baby," his voice was soft, almost a whisper. "I'm here." I'm not letting you go anywhere.
the doctor wanted to say something else, but he kept silent and left the house.
Kenya came into the room saying that they had found those men, and Yunho told him that he would personally go. You told him to stay so he wouldn't leave, but he said there were guards and they were going to protect you, and that he needed to leave to deal with those men. But you cried again, asking him to stay, begging, trembling in his arms, and he couldn't refuse you and stayed hugging you until you fell asleep.

Yunho slowly pulled back, feeling you breathing steadily and quietly. You fell asleep curled up in a ball, trusting him even in your sleep. He carefully pulled back the covers and got up from the bed. In the darkness of the room, his eyes flashed with dangerous fire. Carefully adjusting the blanket, he looked at you once more, remembering your peaceful, albeit tired appearance. Then he left the bedroom, dimming the lights, and wasted no time heading for the exit.
"Strengthen the security," he snapped, going out into the street.
— No one should even go near the house. But so she wouldn't notice. Kenya, who was waiting for him by the car, just nodded, giving commands into the radio. Yunho's men instantly began to take up positions, remaining invisible but ready for any orders. Yunho got into the car, gripping the steering wheel tightly as Kenya took a seat next to him.
"They're in the barn,— Kenya reminded him. Yunho exhaled slowly, feeling the rage rise in him again, flooding his mind with a dark, cold rage.
—Let's go," he said, his voice low and full of menace. The car pulled away, disappearing into the night.
————
The car stopped in front of an abandoned barn on the outskirts of the city. The dark building towered in the night, its walls chipped by time, and the roof caved in in places. Yunho's men stood around, silent, dressed in black, their faces hidden in shadows. Yunho slowly got out of the car. The night was cold, but his flame inside was only getting hotter. He was no longer clenching his jaw—he was calm now, frighteningly calm. Kenya opened the heavy barn door. The creak of rusty hinges echoed through the night. Inside, the five men were lying on the floor, bound and beaten. As soon as Yunho entered, one of them jerked when he saw him. He tried to crawl away, but bumped into a wall and froze, breathing heavily. The others also began to realize the trap they had fallen into. Yunho was in no hurry. He walked slowly along them, his footsteps echoing in the empty space. He looked at them as if deciding who to start with. His voice was low, but it chilled even Kenya's ears.
The five men froze, afraidYunho slowly sucked in a breath, as if trying to contain his rage, but with every passing second his patience was evaporating.
"I asked a question," his voice became lower, hoarser. He looked at them, and there was not a drop of pity in his gaze. "Who.The first. He touched it. Before her? "
The men were silent. One of them swallowed, the other looked away, as if that could save him. Yunho nodded slowly, rolling up his sleeves higher.
— Kenya.
"Yes, boss."
"Break his finger."
"Which one?"
—Anyone. "
Kenya didn't even think about it. He went up to the nearest one, grabbed his wrist and, before he could beg for mercy, twisted his finger to the side with a bang. A wild scream rang out.
— Ah-ah-ah-ah! Wh-what are you doing?!"
—I'm helping you talk,— Yunho replied in a flat voice. He slowly bent over him, watching as he writhed in pain.
— I repeat. Who. The first. He touched it. Before her?"
— Me! It was me!"
One of them screamed, his voice shaking. Yunho looked at him.
— good. "
The next second, he punched him in the face so hard that he collapsed to the floor, and something red, either blood or a tooth, spat out of his mouth.
— And who hit her in the face?"
Silence.
Yunho looked around at the others, but none of them dared to speak.
— Kenya.
"Yes, boss."
"Break another one."
The scream rang out again, pain and fear filled the room. Yunho exhaled, closing his eyes, trying to hold back, but a storm was already raging inside him.
"You have no idea how wrong you were when you touched her," his voice was low, dangerous.
"You broke it. You made her cry. Her. My." His hands balled into fists, and he spun around, punching another man in the ribs.
"I won't kill you." The men shuddered, but there was no relief. Yunho leaned closer, his breath burning the air between them. "But I'm going to make you beg me for it."
Yunho silently turned around, stepped forward, and without warning punched the next man, sending him flying backward, hitting the wall with a thud. He groaned, trying to get up, but Yunho grabbed his hair, forcing him to look into his eyes.
"Did you hit her?" His voice was flat, but there was a threat in it, as cold and inescapable as death itself.
—N-n-no, I... I don't…" The crunch. Yunho squeezed his hand, twisting his finger with ease.
A cry of pain filled the barn, but Yunho didn't even blink.
"Try again."
—I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! "
Yunho abruptly released him, allowing him to collapse to the ground. He looked around at the others with an icy gaze.
— Do you like to hurt those who are weaker than you? " His voice was lower, more dangerous.
— Do you like it when they cry, when they beg?"
No one answered.
Yunho approached the other one, the one who was silent, clenching his teeth. He abruptly grabbed him by the throat, lifting him off the ground.
—And if I do the same to you?" He pinned him against the wall with force, causing his face to contort in horror.
"Would it be nice?"
—P-please… "
Yunho tilted his head to the side, as if thinking. Then he slowly loosened his grip, but before the man could take a deep breath, he hit him in the stomach with his elbow, and then with his knee in the face. There was a crunching sound— a broken nose. The man fell, coughing up blood.
"Get up,— Yunho ordered. He tried, but the pain twisted him.
"Get up." Yunho's voice was as cold as ice.
—B-boss,— Kenya interjected, but Yunho raised his hand to stop him. He turned to the others. — There were five of you. You attacked one."
Defenseless. There was more than just rage in his voice, but something deeper, darker. "If I hadn't found her in time."… He closed his eyes for a moment, holding back the storm.
"But I found it." His fist slammed into the next one, then again. He didn't stop until he collapsed, coughing and moaning.
"And now I'm your hell." Yunho exhaled slowly, letting rage fill every cell of his body. He promised them hell, and he's going to make it happen. The first scream echoed through the barn as he grabbed one of the men and threw him violently onto a rough-hewn table. The tree cracked, and he wheezed, trying to crawl away, but Yunho pinned him by the neck, not even allowing him to move.
"Did you scream when she begged you to stop?" His voice was dangerously low. The man struggled, twitching under his grip.
"Please… Please don't.… —It's too late.
Yunho picked up the nearest knife, a thin, sharp one designed not to kill, but to torment. Without hesitation, he stabbed it into the man's arm, pinning it to the table. A wild, painful scream rang out.
"Does it hurt?" Yunho asked, leaning closer.
— Y-yes! You are welcome!
— good." Yunho turned the blade, aggravating the wound, watching the man's eyes widen in horror. He pulled out the knife and, without giving a break, slashed at the other arm, cutting through the skin and muscles.
The blood flowed down the tree, soaking into it. —I... I didn't mean to...— he gasped.
"Did she want to?" Yunho punched him in the face, breaking his cheekbone.
Kenya watched in silence, realizing that this process could not be stopped. Yunho slowly turned to the others.
"Who's next?" The three remaining ones turned pale, and one was already trying to crawl away, but Yunho's men grabbed him and roughly pulled him to his feet.
— Don't kill… We'll tell you everything…Tell me?" Yunho chuckled, then abruptly grabbed the man by the hair and forced him to look at his bloody comrade.
"Look at this. He won't just kill them. He'll tear everyone apart. The next scream was drowned out even by the wind outside the barn.
"You."
Crud. Yunho suddenly kicked the air out of him with a hard kick, forcing him to fall to his knees. — Did you think you could just hide?"
Then a shot went straight to the head, the muffled sound of the shot echoed through the barn, and the man's body collapsed onto the dirty wooden floor.
The others froze, afraid to even breathe. Blood slowly spread across the boardwalk, mixing with the dust.
Yunho lowered the gun, but his hand didn't waver. He turned his dark, angry gaze on the others. Theman, who was trying to hide behind the others, jerked back, but Yunho's men grabbed him, roughly putting him in front of his boss.
"Please... I… I didn't know..." he muttered, tears of fear streaming down his face. Yunho tilted his head to the side, as if examining the pathetic worm in front of him. Then he slowly raised the gun, placing it against the victim's forehead.
"You didn't know?" His voice was icy. — You watched, you laughed, you participated. "Please!" No! A loud gunshot ripped through the air, and another body collapsed at Yunho's feet. He didn't even blink. There are three left. They were trembling, not even daring to utter a word. "Are you scared?" Yunho slowly came closer. — She was scared too. He threw the gun to Kenya, not needing it anymore. These three deserved something worse. Much worse. Yunho rolled up his sleeves, showing the fresh dark veins of anger on his arms.
"I promised you hell." Welcome. The first blow shattered the ribs of another victim.

The way home was quiet, Yunho took off his gloves stained with the blood of those men and looked at the road, while the driver silently drove back, and Kenya sat next to Yunho.
"You're all covered in blood," Kenya noted, and he chuckled. "Should I go now and wake her up, and then make her mine, huh? I'll make love to her."
Kenya fell silent looking at him, "..what exactly do you mean?"
"I'll go tie her hands, then fuck her until the morning until the only thing left in her head is my name as a moan." he said seriously.
"Boss, she's not in that condition right now. Maybe you should do it another time? You know her condition," Kenya said.
Yunho was silent, then said with a grin "I am burning with this desire. I will do it, I will fuck her well, so that she will feel only me. She is mine. Only mine. And tonight will be the first experience for her"

[English is not my native language, if there are mistakes, then sorry]

The warm lamplight softly illuminated the wooden shelves filled with books. The library, which was owned by old Grandma Lee, always attracted people with its atmosphere. She was on a noisy street, but inside there was silence and tranquility, broken only by the rustle of pages and the occasional conversation of visitors. It was cozy here, smelled of freshly brewed tea, old paper, and the light vanilla scent that you always left behind. Today was a particularly busy day. There were a lot of visitors: someone came for books, someone just stopped by for a minute to warm up and have tea with Grandma Lee. She loved everyone, and she, in turn, was loved for her warm smiles and kind words. As always, you worked here, helping the old lady. You were wearing a cute maid outfit, a black dress with a white apron and lace cuffs. Her hair is neatly gathered into two ponytails, decorated with small bows. You looked like a doll, so delicate and fragile that anyone who passed by involuntarily stopped to look at you.
"Honey, you're working so hard today, why don't you take a break?"
Grandma Lee said with a kind smile, putting the books in a pile.
"It's okay, Grandma, I like helping," you smiled back at her and continued to arrange the books on the shelf.
But it was a long evening, and by the time the library closed, you were already feeling tired. Grandma Lee asked you to help her lock the doors, and when the last book was put away, you went outside together.
"Be careful, darling," she said, stroking your hand.
"It's getting late. You nodded and headed home. The streets weren't as busy anymore, but there were still passersby hurrying about their business. Passing by the bar, you heard the rude voices of drunken men, but tried not to pay attention. They were shouting something in your direction, but you just quickened your pace. Unfortunately, there were always those who tried to stick around in such places. One of the men blocked your way, grinning:
"Hey, baby, are you in a hurry?" Let's talk. —
Excuse me, I have to go," your voice was polite but firm.
But he just reached out to grab your wrist. You staggered back, but at that moment another man grabbed your shoulder. Panic started to squeeze your heart, but you abruptly pulled away and ran away, disappearing into the alley
. You didn't even notice that a man was standing nearby, in the shade of an expensive restaurant. Tall, in a perfectly fitting suit, surrounded by his own people. He saw everything, but he didn't interfere.
Yunho just glanced at you like he was examining a prey item. But that was just the first time he saw you.

The next morning, you went to the library, as usual. Already dressed in a fresh outfit, you ran to Grandma Lee with a smile, gently hugging her.
— Good morning, Grandma!
—Good morning, child. We have visitors this morning.
You nodded and were about to get to work when you noticed a tall man standing at one of the shelves. He was wearing a black suit, and his presence seemed strange in this small library.
—Yes, Yunho, you can find any books," Grandma Lee said calmly.
You froze. This is the name… It was familiar. Even if you've never heard it in person, in the city it was pronounced with a whisper and fear. Yunho slowly turned around, and his gaze met yours. You had no idea that it wasn't just a random visitor.
You cautiously approached the man, feeling some inexplicable excitement inside. He looked too much... It's strange in this place.
It was as if his dark, perfectly fitting suit did not match the cozy atmosphere of the library, saturated with the smell of paper and tea. You were wearing a cute maid outfit, a black dress with a white apron and lace cuffs. Her hair is neatly braided into two ponytails, decorated with small bows. You looked so fragile next to this tall, confident man that it seemed like a single word from him could make you tremble. As you got closer, you looked up and, slightly worried, asked quietly:
— Can I help you find a book?
The man looked up from the book he was holding in his hands and looked at you. His gaze was strange—calm, but tenacious, as if he was studying something in you. In that silence, your heartbeat seemed too loud.
He closed the book, putting it back on the shelf, and finally spoke. His voice was low, a little lazy, but there was confidence in it. The way a man who is used to giving orders speaks. You involuntarily lowered your eyes, feeling that his gaze was too intense, too penetrating.
"If you need help..." you said softly, taking a step back.
"I'll definitely use it," he smiled slowly, and something inside you trembled from that smile.
You nodded slightly and, not knowing what else to say, walked back to the counter, where Grandma Lee was already waiting for you. She was looking at you with a slight smile, as if she noticed something that you didn't understand yet.
—Honey, he's not scary," she whispered as you approached. You were a little embarrassed, stealing a glance at the man. He was looking at the books again, as if nothing had happened. But then why did his gaze still feel on your skin?
You blinked in surprise when you heard the man whose presence seemed to change the entire atmosphere of the library calmly address Grandma Lee.
— Grandma Lee, can we have a cup of coffee? His voice was low and pleasant, but there was still that confidence in it that made everything inside you turn over. You didn't even know they knew each other.
—Ah, Yunho, you're as sudden as ever," the old lady smiled warmly, waving her hand, inviting him to pass on.
She rose easily from her seat and went to the soft sofa by the bookshelves. You just stared at them in confusion until Grandma Lee turned to you with her usual kind smile.
—Honey, would you be so kind as to bring us some coffee?— she asked.
You immediately nodded, obediently heading towards the small kitchen area in the library. Although your movements remained neat, your thoughts were confused. Yunho.
So his name is Yunho...
You stole a glance at the man who sat down on the sofa next to Grandma Lee, casually leaning on the back. He sprawled out impressively, as if this place belonged to him, and was talking about something with an old lady. Your fingers were shaking as you carefully poured the coffee into the cups. Why did his presence affect you so much? You took a deep breath, trying to calm down, before picking up the tray and carefully approaching them, placing the cups on the table.
—Thank you, dear,— Grandma Lee said softly, taking her cup. Yunho looked at you, and that calm, slightly lazy smile appeared on his lips again
—Thank you," he said softly, not taking his eyes off you. You hurried to look away, feeling something hot inside you.
You were about to get up to approach a new client, but suddenly you felt a light touch on your wrist.
"Why are you avoiding me?" Grandma Lee asked warmly, but a little slyly.
"Sit here."
You froze, hesitating a little, but you couldn't disobey her.
She slowly sat down on the sofa opposite, feeling a little uncomfortable. Especially under Yunho's heavy but calm gaze.
He leaned back, holding a cup of coffee in his hand, and took a leisurely sip before turning his gaze to Grandma Li.
"Where did you find her?" You blinked in surprise.
"Did you find it? What is it?" the old woman asked, smiling. — How can you say that? She came to me on her own, like a ray of light in this place.
You looked down, embarrassed. Grandma Li always said such kind words about you, and every time they made you feel a little embarrassed.
"By yourself, then?" Yunho drawled, studying you. You nervously clutched the hem of your dress, but you nodded anyway.
— Yes… I've been looking for a quiet place where I can work for a long time," you replied softly, trying not to look him in the eye
"It's a quiet place,— he repeated thoughtfully, chuckling slightly. — Aren't you afraid to work so late?
You looked up, meeting his dark eyes.
“No,” you said, but your voice was trembling. Yunho narrowed his eyes a little, clearly noticing your nervousness. Grandma Lee just smiled softly, watching your conversation.
Grandma Li chuckled softly, shaking her head. —Yunho, don't scare my girl," she said, looking at him with a kind smile.
He just grinned, taking another sip of coffee, but keeping his gaze on you intently.
"I'm just curious," he said calmly.
"Is it strange that a girl like that works late here?" You slightly squeezed your fingers on the hem of your dress, feeling an incomprehensible feeling spreading in your chest
— something between anxiety and a strange excitement. —I like it here," you replied softly.
— Even if you have to come home late? "
His voice was soft, but there was a hint of interest in it. You nodded.
"I'm used to it,— you added.
Yunho tilted his head slightly, as if studying you, but didn't say anything else.
"Would you mind if I kidnapped her for a minute?"
"What is it?" he suddenly asked Grandma Lee, smiling slightly. You froze, looking up in surprise.
"Kidnap me?" The old lady asked with a light laugh.
"Where to?"
"I just want to talk." Get to know her a little better,"
Yunho replied calmly. You swallowed nervously, feeling your heart beat faster. You didn't know if it was from fear or from his piercing gaze.
Grandma told him, "Okay, but give it back quickly! And don't scare her." Yunho nodded with a smile, and reached out to you, holding your wrist, you looked at your grandmother, who just winked at you.
Yunho gently but firmly squeezed your wrist, lifting you up from your seat. His touch was warm, but at the same time domineering, which made my heart beat faster.
You glanced at Grandma Lee, hoping she'd change her mind, but the old lady just winked at you, as if to say, "Don't be afraid."
Yunho chuckled slightly, seeing your indecision, and pulled you along.
—Come on, baby,— he said in a low, calm voice.
You let him lead you, unable to resist his confident stride. He led you out from behind the counter and led you to one of the further shelves, where books were arranged in dense rows. It was quieter and more private here, and you were away from prying eyes.
Yunho turned to you, not letting go of your wrist.
"Are you afraid of me?"
"What is it?" he asked suddenly, looking intently into your eyes. You swallowed hard.
—"N-no,"— you replied, although you didn't sound as confident as you would have liked. He chuckled, leaning a little closer.
"Then why are you trembling?" You stared at him in silence, then said,
"I am...I'm not shaking.."And he sat down on the couch and held you out too
Yunho chuckled as he watched you. His gaze was piercing, searching, as if he was trying to read you, to look into the very depths of your thoughts.
"You're not shaking, are you?" — he drawled with a slight grin, sitting down on the sofa. He slowly patted the soft spot next to him, as if inviting you to sit down.
You hesitated, casting a quick glance in Grandma Lee's direction, but she seemed to be busy with her own business. After a moment's hesitation, you carefully sat down next to him, trying to stay straight and not too close to him.
Yunho leaned forward slightly, his elbows resting on his knees, and his gaze returned to you.
— How long have you been working here?" he asked casually, but there was obvious interest in his voice.
— Not so long ago… A few months," you replied, trying to sound confident. He nodded, as if considering your words.
"So you like it here?"
You nodded quickly. — Yes, very much. It's cozy and peaceful here."
Yunho chuckled softly, and a strange glint flashed in his eyes for a moment. He ran his tongue over his lower lip, then continued,
"Do you know who I am?"
You nodded, "you know Grandma Lee.."
Yunho chuckled, shaking his head slightly.
—Yes, but not only that, baby," his voice sounded soft, but there was a hidden mockery in it. You blinked, tilting your head slightly.
"Who else?" You asked carefully. He looked at you carefully, as if assessing your naivety. Then he slowly leaned closer, almost close.
"You really don't know?" his voice became a little lower, mesmerizing, enveloping. You nervously clenched your hands in the lace cuffs, feeling your heart beating faster.
"Should I?" Yunho smiled out of the corner of his lips, then leaned back on the couch, looking completely relaxed.
"Probably not. It's even better if you don't know," he paused, then added,
"Although I'm sure you'll find out sooner or later." You didn't understand what he was talking about, but for some reason his words made you feel a little anxious. You were silent, and then he said,
—"How old are you?
—"..twenty two.." You said softly,
—"'Oh, are you really younger than me?" He chuckled, How old is he then?
—Oh, you're a real baby," he grinned, lazily leaning back on the sofa.
"I'm thirty." You felt your cheeks burn slightly at his words.
"I'm not a baby," you protested softly, pouting. Yunho laughed, his gaze became even warmer, but at the same time something deeper, hidden, slipped into it.
"Of course, of course," he drawled, leaning closer.
"You're just so fragile, sweet... and naive." You looked down, not knowing how to respond to that. Why does he sound like he's studying you?
Yunho noticed your embarrassment and tilted his head slightly to the side, as if enjoying this moment
.— And how did you end up in this city alone?
he asked, his voice softer, but there was still something disturbing in it.
"I'm not alone...I have friends and acquaintances.." you said,
"'Where's the family? Parents?" He asked.
"They live in another city.. "
Yunho nodded, still looking at you intently.
"So you're all alone here," he drawled thoughtfully, as if weighing something in his head. You shook your head,
"I have friends, Grandma Lee."…
"But there's no one who can stand up for you if something happens," he interrupted, narrowing his eyes slightly.
Your gaze darted to him, and you felt a little uneasy.
—I can take care of myself," you said softly, although you weren't even sure of those words yourself. Yunho chuckled, but there was something dark in his eyes.
"Really?" He ran his fingers slowly over the arm of the sofa, as if thinking.
"Then tell me, how did you handle those men outside the bar yesterday?" You flinched.
—I... just left,— you muttered, feeling his gaze becoming unbearable.
—Not right away,— he shook his head slightly. "One even kissed you."
You looked up sharply.
—You... you were following me?" Yunho just smiled, but there was nothing in that smile.
You said,
"What should I do when men are like that?" Yunho tilted his head slightly to the side, his lips twitched in a slight smile.
"You really don't know?" His voice was almost mocking, but there was something dark in his eyes.
You swallowed nervously, looking down.
"I'm just... trying to avoid them,— you whispered. Yunho chuckled softly, then slowly reached forward, leaning in closer.
"Avoid it?" His eyes narrowed, and his voice became soft, but that only made it more dangerous.
"And if someone won't let you leave?" If someone decides they can do whatever they want with you? You felt a cold lump shrink inside.
"I'll...I'll scream... I'll ask for help." Yunho shook his head, grinning, and reached out, gently tucking a stray strand of hair behind your ear.
—Silly," he muttered. — There are people in this city whose cry for help no one will turn around". You looked at him, not knowing what to say.
"Then… what should I do? " Your voice sounded low, almost pleading. Yunho froze for a moment, his gaze became a little softer, but the same dark fire was still burning in it.
"That's my concern now," he finally said, his voice firm, almost authoritative.
"From now on, no one will dare to even approach you without my permission".
You ignored him, deciding that you had talked enough, and went back to the counter..
Yunho didn't stop you, but you could feel his eyes on you even as you busied yourself with the books at the counter. He kept his eyes on you, as if studying your every move.
You tried not to pay attention, but your heart was still beating faster than usual. Why is he looking like that? Why do you feel like his words weren't just a promise, but a warning?
Grandma Lee was saying something to him, but you weren't listening, trying to focus on your work.
"Thanks for the coffee, Grandma Lee," you heard him say. "I'll come back." You didn't look up, but you could tell by the creaking of the floorboards that he was heading for the exit. And yet, before he left, he stopped. — See you later,

As always, you worked late, and Grandma Lee closed the store, and you headed home on the way..
You saw there was some kind of card in the bag, you took it and saw..his number.
Yunho's number. Did he put it down? You didn't throw it away, you just put it back..
You don't know much about him, you found out that he's a friend of Grandma's, and that he's 30 years old, he's weird...
As always, your day won't go by if someone doesn't come out on the way home.
"Hey, pretty girl, where are you going?" A voice rang out from behind. You quickened your steps, heading home quickly...
But the two men were still following you, you ran home, and their footsteps intensified, they followed you...
You quickly opened the door of the house, and locked yourself in.
As soon as you closed the door, those men knocked and started threatening. You retreated from the door in a panic, clutching your hands to your chest.
Your heart was pounding, and one thought was spinning in my head — what to do? They did not stop knocking, one of them roughly pulled the handle.
— Open up, doll, don't complicate your life..."
You put your hands over your mouth to keep from accidentally letting out a sob.
The phone! Where's your phone?!
Bag.
It was in the bag. You quickly unbuttoned it and pulled out the device, but your fingers were shaking so much that you could barely press anything. And then your eyes fell on that very card.
** Yunho's number.**
You didn't know why you were going to do it at all, but there was too much fear. If he really knows Grandma Li, then he can't be that bad... right? The pounding became even louder, and one of the men laughed.:
— Do you think the door will save you?" You didn't hesitate anymore and dialed the number. You called him...
He didn't answer.
You called twice.
He replied,
"Hello?" His voice sounded annoyed,
"Yunho..." he quickly recognized your voice,
"Hey, open the door, honey, or do you want us to break it down?" The men's voice rang out again, and there was a bang on the door.
"Yunho...Help me..." you said softly,
"Where are you?" he asked sharply, and his voice was no longer irritated. There was something cold, sharp, almost dangerous in him.
—Y-at home...— your voice was shaking. "They're... they're knocking... they're saying they're going to break down the door."…
There was a brief silence on the other end of the line, but you heard him exhale.
"Don't hang up,— he ordered. — Open the camera, show me their faces. You turned on the camera with trembling fingers and carefully opened the curtain on the window, pointing the lens at the men. There were two of them. Rude faces, drunken grins, one was saying something to the other, and the other pushed the door open again.
—Good news, baby,—Yunho's voice turned icy, but somehow strangely soothing. —They just signed their own verdict."
Before you could say anything, he interrupted the call. My heart sank. What now? Will he really help?..
The voice came from outside the door again: "Last chance, baby. Open it, or… But they didn't finish their sentence. There was a screech of brakes, followed by heavy, confident footsteps.
The men froze, as if they had sensed something. You felt it too.
Danger.
The shot shattered the night silence. There was a scream, followed by the dull sound of a falling body. The second man froze in place, looking around in panic. You clutched the phone convulsively, breathing raggedly.
—Wh-what the...— one of them's voice faltered, and you heard him start backing away. Heavy footsteps. Calm, confident.
"I told you they signed their own verdict," a familiar voice said. Yunho. You didn't see him, but you could tell by his voice that he was smiling. Dangerous. Cold.
—I-I'm sorry, man… We... we didn't know she was yours..." the second man tried to justify himself, but his voice broke.
"Now you know,— Yunho replied evenly.
You heard another shot. Then silence. My heart was pounding. What just happened? Fear gripped you, but before you could realize it, there was a soft knock on the door.
"Open up, baby. It's me"
It's him...?
