james, whose body everyone fawns over, his abs, his muscles, the way he looks when he plays quidditch. james who has people hit him up at every party, all the time, for "a good time" and he declines. james, whose only partners have been as a result of a drunken kiss, or a dance, partners who're always read to have sex with him, rushing him, just to get the pleasure of saying i shagged james potter. james who has had sex with his partners because thats what you do in relationships right? youre supposed to have sex. james who's been surrounded by people who give great value to, and love, having sex (aka rabid dogs wolfstar and aro but heathen and freak in the sheets peter) and never knew that you can just not? james who when he starts dating regulus has sex with him a few times too, because well. regulus likes it, and its not regulus' fault thats james is broken. its not until hes just hanging out with regulus and his friends and evan says something that james realises that you can do that. and then he has a breakdown and thinks that regulus will leave him because regulus has always loved having sex, and he had sex prior to james as well. meanwhile regulus is mentally losing his shit because his bf never liked having sex and he didnt even realise? but then they both reassure each other and james gets the support he deserves♥️
