some times i sit and wonder if i ever really had any friends. i have never felt like i could talk to someone without the little voice inside my head suggesting that they were going to judge me. and then i found them, and the voice was quiet. and the feeling stopped for a while. i had friends. all was well. i was at peace. but how come now i lie awake doubting ever choice ever made around them? how come my FRIENDS wont hear about my struggles, wont hold me while i cry, nor listen when i need it the most? how can you be 18 and know so many people and feel so lonely? how can you live surrounded by love and never feel truly loved? how can you be filled with passion if youre empty? when are you gonna learn? youre alone. youre empty. they left. another night spent lost in the maze of my thoughts. was it ever real? if not, how could you?
