I realized that, while I have posted parts of this project a million times before, I don't have a post that compiles the entire zine in one place. This can be done somewhat efficiently with full spreads rather than individual pages but I just never thought to do that before for some reason. So here it is again! The whole thing! This was made in 2022, a few months before the Beastclans retcon, so its overall tone isn't entirely in line with canon anymore, but that's ok. It's just pretend :)

DECAY is a minor godling, the kind that hatches out in swarms and fights its siblings tooth and nail for the right to gorge itself on bigger gods. these types tend to tear each other to pieces in the vicious ascent to power, latching onto power where it seeps out of the pores of greater deities until they're strong enough to hold their own.

occasionally, a god's demise leaves its parasites with nothing left to feed on. the weaker ones flee to find a new host, while the most bloated among them settle to metamorphose, peeling open into a mockery of a true god.

HARVEST is a devout and zealous follower of his own path, whose charge led him to the concept of faith— keeping his own, and letting it drive him to fulfill the true aspect of his charge; his own survival. a parasite engorged on the blood and energy of a god offers its own unique opportunities, and swearing your unwavering fealty to the concept of something greater can sometimes be the difference between power and death.

both of them reside peripherally to The Abscess, where DECAY dropped like a tick off their host, and where HARVEST can drip-feed them godsblood to whet their hunger. a shrine in the eye of the fall tethers DECAY, while HARVEST seeks his own means of survival, always returning.

my excitement every time I get to do another batch of piglets is only tempered by the fact that I have to do bios for that batch of piglets.

they have quotes, lyrics, and titles now, all subject to change and mild spoilers, but they're just waiting for elaboration.

Do you have any use for an Orca/Royal/Royal dragon with shadow eyes? As an addition for your Orphanage I mean. Currently they are Everlux but I'm sure they'd be cute as everything!

Upon checking my current lineup, I don't have orca/royal OR an everlux! so I would gladly take the little guy, nonnie, thank you so much for the offer!

Anyway, Mercy's refresh is finished- he's been dressed the same since like 2019. that's how long I've had the OC in hibernation, but now that he's resurfaced with a vengeance, this guy deserved a makeover.

I bought her last night, but now I must share her with the world @ringleaderising is a dreadful influence! Miss Jubilee, a large, powerful women, rolled into the Menagerie with a plan in mind: To take up the vacant roll of the circus Strongwoman after Grusha retired. Quite frankly, after getting a good look at her, no one really could think of any argument against it. Though her personal theme of "magical girl" seemed at odds with her stature, and deep voice, she nonetheless loves to espouse the virtues of friendship, love, cooperation, and never once skipping leg day in your entire life.

AND LOOK HOW PRETTY THEY ARE.

Somehow, against all odds, every radioactive kid came out with pharaoh, and the only leaf kid got harlequin- which means nobody came out potentially needed a re-gene to be in visual lockstep with their parents.

However, I don't have a SINGLE lair slot anymore, and so, they've gotta move fast.

Every last one of them is on the AH for 300g/kt and I'll do alternate currency/mixed currency via CR!

None of them came out leaf/radioactive/cherry, which was the goal, but I am likely going to breed them regularly going forward, as long as there's demand!

are you going to be randomizing the choices for the piglets again? I know it was because it was hard for you to choose, but it felt a bit like there was no point putting effort into a lore submission if it was going to be random anyway...

I only pulled randomly for the last one, and I only did it after I had selected from three finalists I simply could not pick out of, and it was a decision I didn't make lightly I assure you!

Everyone else was selected very intentionally for their applications (And I'd argue that even in that dragon's case, there was a 'these three applicants all embody some stuff I'd really enjoy seeing fully fleshed out' situation- I just couldn't pick *who* of the three, yanno?) and a random pull was not the method the whole time, just once after I spent actual hours agonizing over who would get her because all three felt 'right'.

tl;dr: The randomized pull was only in one specific case and it was well after I'd narrowed things down, the selections are always made on lore application basis so please don't feel discouraged about applying!

Say hello to Piglets 8-13, AKA (in order of appearance) Bug, Flea, Boar, Rat, Mite, and Louse! As with their previous siblings, this clutch of six will be part of an auction/giveaway done here on tumblr for other lore clans, coming with full bios and connections not only to my lore via Pig, Sow, and Runt, but also each other, and the clans housing their older siblings from 2024's halloween giveaway- the Horror Harlequins are tight knit, after all.

Of course this will all be going down once I've worked out bios for the lot of them, but get ready for another community event sometime soon!!!
