Do other people in the world really believe the genocide is over or that conditions have improved? They began starving the North in March last year and then continued to starve the whole Strip for a year and now they are starving the whole Gaza Strip again this March, in Ramadan.

Genocide is an act of collective punishment and neglect of the most essential life sources.

In reality they began committing genocide against the people of Gaza the day that the siege on Gaza was imposed. What we continue to witness since Oct 7th is only the same genocide accelerated which I will never stop repeating.

Not only that, the murder by aircraft has not stopped. israel's fascist death machines are still hovering and threatening and firing and killing people in their tents, in their damaged homes, in cars, at people trying to rebuild...their thirst for Palestinian blood is literally infinite.

Even if the fire stopped, it would still be genocide. There is no such thing as an israeli ceasefire because they practice murder by freezing and starving and medically neglecting and physically and psychologically torturing Palestinians too.

They closed the Death Wendy's over a year ago and I'm still mad about it. It was a Wendy's located in the middle of a six-way intersection, requiring many pedestrians to cross the street 3 times in a row in order to get to it

It was one of the city's top ten spots for car crashes, multiple people died there, and the service was terrible. I miss it dearly

I have spoken before about the overwhelming costs of food and medication in Gaza. My friend Ahmed tells me that a single tablet of the medicine his injured brother needs is over €20 euros.

However, another dimension that might help you to contextualize Palestinian life is the amount of time and energy everything takes. Ahmed described for me his daily life right now. He walks 2 kilometers to get to water, then usually waits in line for over an hour for his family's turn. Sometimes there is not enough left, and after standing in line for an hour, he must walk 2 kilometers back still thirsty with nothing to show for it. It takes two days to get 2 kilos of flour, and his family often goes 4 days without eating a single piece of bread. Their hunger leaves them faint and dizzy.

At night, it gets cold. They don't have enough blankets to warm themselves. It's hard to sleep, because sometimes there are bombings, and even when a night passes in safety, they are scared knowing bombings could happen at any time. In one of these recent bombings, their tent was torn, and they haven't yet had any funds to buy nylon to patch it. In the meanwhile, reptiles and poisonous insects easily get into the tent every night.

Ahmed's fundraiser has been vetted: @gazavetters in line (#198), but his campaign has only raised €6,500 so far. He really needs support. Please help him. Every donation helps to relieve the extent of his overwhelming circumstances.

You might be far away, but you could be a reason his family is able to stay warm under blankets. You could give the funds they use to patch up their tent or to treat someone's injuries. You have the power to share with him the experience of a good meal and a full stomach. What is a more beautiful act of humanity than that?

It's such a blessing that we can make such an enormous difference in someone else's life. It's humbling to know we share this world together, and that our decisions connect us to each other.

It's so fucking depraved that we're at a point where we are screaming for food and aid to be let in because let me remind you, the airstrikes are still ongoing. But stopping the bombardments has taken a backseat in lieu of trying to stop the starvation. Israel moved the goalpost from "Stop killing Palestinians" to "Stop killing Palestinians through starvation" and maybe this was their aim all along. They somehow turned the ceasefire into the less urgent demand.

Israel could continue with its genocide all while gaining back the favour of the western world that's looking for the tiniest shred of decency possible in order to try and frame Israel as the beacon of morality in the middle east like they used to do, but Israel is refusing because torturing Palestinians in one of the most inhumane ways possible is more important for them than salvaging their image.

I don't know how to explain what my family and I are going through.

Each day feels heavier than the one before.

Help my friend @nourasbasha feed his kids, my heart is breaking when i hear of the hunger his children are experiencing, begging for help crying for someone to listen.

“I swear to you, we are hungry. My kids cry all day saying ‘I’m hungry, I want to eat’ — and I have nothing to give them.
