Stefan looked at Elena. "Oh yeah?" He asked softly. "And how is that working out for you?" He looked down. "I've had those moments. I mean you've seen me at those moments. trying not to care always just seems to end up being pretending not to care." He mused.

"I think our hearts are just too big."

Stefan smirked, looking down at the blonde. "Why yes. it gives me great pleasure." He chuckled and leaned back in his chair. "I'm just messing with you don't worry." He assured her.

"Don’t   make   me   regret   this."

Stefan looked up with a glare. "Just get it over with." He muttered, thought gritted teeth. She hadn't been his first call but he knew she could help. Being shot wasn't the way he'd wanted to start his week but here he was.

"And please be gentle." He shoved off his jacket, wincing as the bullet in his shoulder shifted. "That hunter is DEAD."
