experimenting a bit and trying to make mugi's curls a bit more prominent.... and sneaked in a tsumuyuuri in there as it's tsumuyuuri monday ^w^

its 2am and ive had the misfortune of, as per usual, seeing people call tsumugi aoba ugly and well i simply cannot let that slide. So im here to be annoying about it

FIRST OF ALL. neither natsume nor eichi (the only two charas i can think of that have dissed his appearance) actually think hes ugly. in natsumes case its him being tsundere about it and he actually really likes mugis hair, and in eichis case he just thinks he was alot more attractive without the glasses and with shorter hair. which brings me to my SECOND POINT

THIS IS LITERALLY A BISHOUNEN STEREOTYPE. when generalized and stereotyped, a bishounen can be described as an "androgynous (by western standards), tall and slender male with angular features and flowing locks." ofc, they all look very different, but u guys have heard of the root of this trope by now right? björn andrésen?

WHERE HAVE I SEEN THOSE FEATURES BEFORE!!!!!!! the droopy eyes?? the curly hair????

the whole DEAL with tsumugis character is that, genetically speaking, he is VERY conventionally attractive. hes got many of the desirable traits in japan, the PUNCHLINE HOWEVER is tsumugi DOESNT REALIZE/CARE ABOUT IT. people tell him that cutting his hair would make him more attractive but tsumugi doesnt want to! hes growing it out for a reason! and people also tell him that hed be more attractive without those big bulky glasses, but he has poor eyesight and theyre convenient! and he also cant be bothered to get new ones! LIKE ARE U GUYS SEEING THE APPEAL. ITS LIKE ONE BIG BIT. GUYS ITS A JOKE THEYRE MAKING A JOKE. A GUY GENETICALLY BLESSED TO BE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BOY AND HE JUST DOES NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT AT ALL. TAKES ABSOLUTELY 0 THOUGHT INTO HIS APPEARANCE. GUYS. THEYRE BEING FUNNY WITH HIS CHARACTER AGAIN PLEASE

S: HaHa~ Sora appreciates the thought, but Ri~chan-senpai doesn't have to go that far! I don't think Ri~chan-senpai meant to make Sora feel lonely, even Shishou and Senpai seem to have their own troubles to deal with too but it's alright, Sora understands that some stuff can be hard to talk about~

Y: ... Those two keep you from their pasts too, huh? (Somehow it feels like he's seen through me... But maybe he's sharing his own problems.)

S: ..Keeping Sora from their pasts? Y: I'm not sure of it either, but they have a special way of interacting don't they?

Y: Like they've known each other for so long, but they don't.

Y: Sorry... that slipped out, I shouldn't make you doubt your Senpais. Who am I to say anyway?

S: Ri~chan-senpai feels lonely being out of the loop, isn't she? Sora understands. It happens sometimes, every now and then they'll talk about stuff unrelated to Sora. But Sora believes that one day Shishou and Senpai will get the courage to finally tell their story, so let's put our trust in them, okay?

Y: You have a point..

S: If Ri~chan-senpai wants too, how about we create our own story then?~

Y: Pfft, that's one way to get back at them!

Y: .... Thank you, Sora. I'll think about what you said carefully. Tell you what, next time, I'll be sure to treat you to some food and maybe we can look into hanging out more often now that we're on break~

S: HaHa! Sora's looking forward to it.

Y: I'll be heading off then.

Y: ..I guess there are some things to look forward too huh? (Looking down at the key) It'll take mom a few days to cool off, it might be better to stay at a friends' place...

WONDER BECAUSE WONDERGAME... AND THE BLUEBIRDD also this is supposed to be in relation to my graduation, hence the sentiment.

I missed tsumuyuuri monday so consider this as me quickly following that up since bluebirds are closely associated with tsumugi ! even being called "bluebird of happiness" by eichi and his first solo is called "bluebird humming"

people getting scared enstars will eos because they won't see their faves anymore are too reliant on a gacha game company for their happiness and that's scary, the game isn't the only way you can see them, fancontent is everywhere and you can even create it yourself.

I do wish it would eos but having reason, it's unlikely they would when they continue to make bank out of the franchise. they'll probably continue to milk every drop of it and ensure the story never ends, that's just how it is

and it makes me sad because the writers could care less about the characters, they're basically products to sell — how they handled kagetsu and ibuki's joining in akatsuki makes that very clear that they're not afraid of making a character ooc for the sake of a decision

wish was a story that made me realize that it doesn't matter if a character had a known trait, they're willing to distort that too just to create more conflict in their stories because I DID see the vision, but they executed it so poorly so it felt rushed, messy and contradictory

remember that they could have decided to expand on the current character roster's lore but they DIDNT and instead added more characters, maybe someday they will but that kind of hoping is what these gacha games want you to have, so that you'll keep playing or spending money

but really, whether you're boycotting or not — I just wish people were more honest about it, I don't really care as much if people still play or support the game but the fact people can't complain or hate because it "ruins the vibe" is such a double standard when people are talking about actual issues

and most of these "critics" and "haters" WERE fans who were betrayed by happy ele, so it's not like their hatred is unjustified (albeit I do understand how it can become actually harmful if the person only focuses on that)
