Stephen Strange joining the Avengers after everything is fixed.

He starts hanging around the Avengers compound sometimes

And he finds Tony in his workshop one day having a panic attack.

And he’s so shocked as he sees tears stream down Tony’s face. He rushes to his side immediately and comforts him. Takes him into his arms and talks to him softly.

And when Tony finally calms down he just holds him for a few minutes.

And as Stephen is holding this small man he realizes something. Stark, the one that saved them and suffered for them, is constantly worried about everyone else but he so rarely talks about himself.

Stephen hates himself for a moment because he’d seen how it would affect Tony. But he forgot about it after Tony acted normally every time he was around the Avengers.

But of course Tony isn’t alright.

He’s suffered. He’s sacrificed himself, done everything he could for everyone around him. And watched the people he loved die. Of course he isn’t alright.

And no one noticed.

Steve, Nat, Bruce, the people that thought themselves his friends never noticed.

And when Tony calms down he tries to pull away and make Stephen leave. He even APOLOGISES to Stephen. And suddenly Stephen just wants to cry because here is a man who apologises for having a panic attack, for needing support. For being hUMAN.

And Stephen refuses to leave and he tells Tony that contrary to popular belief Tony isn’t a suit of armor. He is human.

And humans need help. And friends.

And so Stephen Strange finds a bottle of whiskey. And he sits with Tony Stark in his workshop.

They talk about pain. About losing someone. Abouth everything and anything.

And as they do they grow closer and sometime late in the night Tony falls asleep with his head resting on Stephen’s shoulder.

And just before Stephen drifts into sleep as well.. He promises himself that he will never let Tony suffer alone again. He will never let Tony be without a friend. And he will always remind Tony that he is only human.

And as Strange thinks back on the night he realises that he just might be falling in love with Tony Stark. And his humor. And the way he smirks. And smiles. And the way his hair falls across his face when he sleeps.

And that might not be so bad.

Guardian

The first time Tony saw him, he was only five years old.

His father had just finished a particularly harsh lecture and sent Tony to his room. The small boy, so terrified and hurt, simply sat on the edge of his bed and cried. He clung tightly to his favorite toy, a perfectly in scale Captain America action figure, and sobbed until his little arms trembled and every sound that escaped his lips was wet and breathy.

“Hey. Hey, it’s okay.”

Tony looked up, blinking away the tears. The being had to be an angel. Regular people don’t glow a comforting blue with eyes like the ocean and a smile like starlight. He had swooping black hair and high cheekbones, clad in a robe that swirled and swayed with his body.

“It’s okay. Let it all out.”

“Wh-who are you?” Tony stammered, swiping away a fresh wave of tears with the heel of his palm.

“A friend.”

The angel came closer, tenderly taking Tony’s face in his hands, round and soft with babyfat. He brushed the tears away with the pad of his thumb, leaving a soothing warmth where their skin touched. A sense of comfort enveloped Tony’s heart and his breathing calmed completely.

“You should get some sleep. Smart boys like you need rest.

"Tony wanted to argue, eager to ask as many questions as he could, but his eyelids felt heavy. The angel pulled back his blankets, waiting for Tony to crawl into bed before tucking him in. He didn’t get a goodnight kiss but the angel pushed back his hair, planting images of love and kindness in his dreams. When the angel pulled his hand back, Tony was fast asleep.

You and Me and the Devil makes Three

So I saw this amazing prompt from lycorisonthewall-

So, some of us are excited about how Beel’s second word is ‘Furuchin’, with speculation about how Oga mumbles that word a lot in his sleep and Beel picked it up from him. Well, Oga and the six omens went to the demon world to meet the deadly sins. Asmodeus, one of the sins, is the demon of lust, and let’s say he is an illusionist. He curses his victims to see illusions of their most loved/ideal person. He can also curse people to mess with their dreams. And Oga ended up as one of his favourite targets because Oga already has someone he likes and is easy to bully. Hence, while in the demon world training, Oga sees a lot of illusions, both awake and while dreaming, and has a lot of frustrated outbursts (“Damn it, Furuchin! Stop distracting me!) that makes him look kinda insane, and Beel picks up the word after listening to all his grumbling and talking about Furuichi.

And after reading this, I wrote like a madwoman because all I saw from this was the excuse to write a horny Furuichi thanks to the illusions. Thank you so much for this prompt! And a VERY special thank you from Fabelyn for editing this for me and pointing out all my mistakes! XD
