His PokeGear buzzed in his pocket as he paced throughout his apartment, wondering why he was feeling so restless all of a sudden. His left gloved hand dug on his pocket to retrieve his device, wondering who was trying to get in touch with him. It really was unusual to get a call from anyone, other than Leaf of course.
Silver eyes glanced down at the screen, his eyebrows furrowing slightly from the unknown number. Who...? As much as he wished to hang up, he decided to give this person the benefit of the doubt -- just this once. His thumb flicked the phone open and held it up to his ear, a sigh escaping his lips.
"Hello? Yeah, this is Silver." This... voice was definitely unfamiliar. How did they know his name and what did they want? "Who's this? You need something from me?"
After going through numerous League contacts and making several interregional calls, Cheren had at last gotten the phone number he was looking for. Sighing with relief as he referenced the number scrawled hastily across a scrap of paper, he dialed on his Xtransceiver and hoped he would pick up.
"…Hello. I was told I could reach a ‘Silver’ here…?"
