V-valentine's day...?

I have never really have given much thought on Valentine's Day until this year...

I'll make next year extra special and spend it with someone I really care about!

Ritchie took a few steps forward and gave his partner a confirming nod. "Alrighty, Sparky! Give it your best shot with a quick attack!"

Sparky nodded at its trainer before running toward Meganium at full speed. Its agility has noticeably increased since Ritchie's last battle, which surprised the young trainer. Before he noticed, the energetic pikachu slammed right into its opponent and took direct charge.

One on One: I'm a little rusty, but don't go easy on me, okay?!

Ritchie felt guilty for making her wait. "Yeah, sorry about taking a while to get here." He forced a smile, hoping that he'd be forgiven. Yet, he was still very excited to battle. He's been training for weeks to make his pokemon the strongest they can be. Now it's time see if they really are!

Ritchie walked across from her and grabbed one of his pokeballs. He had confident in this one, after endless amount of training training he knew that it was ready. A grin appeared on his face as he threw the pokeball in the air.

"Do your best, Sparky!"

One on One: I'm a little rusty, but don't go easy on me, okay?!

"Uh, Sparky? Do you know where we are?"

Although it wasn't very uncommon for Ritchie to get lost in Johto, he felt uneasy. He was so ecstatic to battle after weeks of training. He was confident that his pokemon were the strongest they can be, or so he hoped so.

But, there was one problem; where in the world was he? Ritchie stared at his map. Where was he last at? Ecruteak City? No, maybe he was in Goldenrod. Agh!

Ritchie must have taken the right turn, he suddenly found himself near neatly cut grass; unlike where he was before. The boy then felt lost, again. There were so many trainers, which one was his opponent?

He recognized the fountain that was almost identical to the one he saw on his map. Then, Ritchie gazed at who he hoped was his challenger.

Without any thought, he walked up to her. "U-uh, if I'm not mistaken, you're waiting for a battle, right?"

“Basil, I don’t know if he’ll show up.”

Kris sat atop her Meganium, returning to National Park once more. She wasn’t going to fool with the bugs or the kid trainers that ignored her challenges; today, she was to meet a peppy little guy that caught her on her way out. A one on one, their best Pokemon pitted against each other. It got her pumped up just thinking about it!

I’ll wait for you across the fountain in National Park, he had told her. Don’t be late!

Of course Kris wouldn’t be late! That’s no way to handle business, after all. There was one problem, though—he had never specified the time that he would arrive.

No matter! She had all the time in the world. Well, all the time up to eight o’clock, at least. Kris wasn’t going to pass up a home cooked dinner.

Everything’s been okay! The Professor has been in some drama lately, which I will gladly gossip to you about once you get here! Haha. You should come soon, I’d love for you to spend the holidays with me. :] How’s Sparky!?

I'd love to hear some gossip, especially if it's about the professor! Haha. I'm free for the next couple of days since I'm home, when would you like to meet up? Sparky's fine, he's been so determined to become stronger. He even has to remind me to train him at times! How's your marill?

Having a Raichu would be so sweet! I still think that Sparky should have the decision of whether or not he wants to become a Raichu. I'd love to know how it's like to have a strong Raichu in my team...

I'm going to take a break for a while. I've just been having some trouble trying to find muse, and school has also been making me busy. I don't really know how long it'll be, but when I do come back I'll start posting more frequently. I hope I can start roleplaying with all of you once I get back. So until then, bye!

Ecruteak City

Ritchie was walking along the streets of Ecruteak City, enjoying the peaceful autumn morning. The trainer had been hoping to challenge the city's gym leader, Morty, but wasn't sure where to go. Yet, his enthusiasm was what kept the young boy going.  Although all the buildings looked similar, Ritchie finally found what he hoped to be the Ecruteak City Gym. After contemplating for what seemed like hours, Ritchie walked up the small steps, opened the door, and stepped inside.

Ritchie didn't know where he was going as he walked further down the hall. He then saw double wooden doors and walked faster, trying to avoid the creaks of the old floorboards. The young boy opened the double doors and saw the familiar battlefield. The anxious trainer felt relieved that he had found what he was looking for, Ecruteak City's gym. But, all he needed to find now was the gym leader, Morty.

Soft footsteps made the ten year old freeze. He looked straight ahead and saw a blonde man walking towards him. The closer he was to the young man, the more he could see his smirk. "U-uh. Do you happen to be Morty?" He nervously asked.

Hey, everyone! It's been a while since I've last stopped by, haha. But, I finally have my first three badges in Johto, so I'm on my way to Ecruteak City to get my fourth badge. I've also heard that there's a Halloween party in Ecruteak City, so I might stop by for a while. I hope to see you all there!

Route 30 & 31

Time sure does fly by! Before I knew it, I've been in Johto for almost two weeks. I'm starting to miss my home in Kanto. But, at least I have pokemon. My Charmander, Zippo, helped me catch a Hoppip earlier today. The battle sure was difficult, but I guess it's just a good way to start off my new adventure in Johto. So, until I arrive at Violet City, see ya!
