Riverdale x Reader (2)
The reader moves to Riverdale the summer before her Sophomore year. He father is very controlling and prefers her brothers over her. They all come a rich family and with a dark past.
(Sorry that this chapter sucks, I tried not to take to long and school keeps me busy.)
The front door of the house swung open to reveal a grumpy teenager. The door slowly closed itself. "(Y/n)?" Your mom called out for you. "Is that you, honey?" She poked her head around the corner. "Yeah Mom, it's me." You slowly stepped closer to her. She fully stepped out from behind the corner. Your mom put her hands upon her hips and frowned. "What are you doing home so early? You know how your father will feel about this."
Your mother's personal assistant came rushing to you. He took your backpack off of your shoulders and quickly scurried off to put it away in your room. "I just... wasn't feeling well." You laughed nervously.
She rolled her eyes at you. "I've known you your whole life. I know when you're lying. Besides-" She wiped her hands on the apron. "I was making a delicious apple pie for your brothers. They're coming back today."
"I don't like apple pie, mom." She waved a hand and laughed at you. "That doesn't matter. What matters is that your Father is happy and if that means seeing his boys happy, so be it."
She stepped closer to you and put a smooth hand on your face. "You look horrendous. Have you been running again? What have I told you about running? That's a man's job. Women aren't supposed to do that. Honey, your father has told you many many times. Women do what the men say." You pulled her hand away harshly.
"What if I don't want to do that? What if I want to work?" Her eyebrows furrowed and growled lightly. "Do you dare defy your father?! If he says you do something you better do it. Don't you EVER question your father." Her hand went up then came across your cheek leaving a bright red angry mark.
Instantly your hands went up to cradle your face. "I don't care what you want, you-you ungrateful child! We provide you with money, clothes, a beautiful roof over your head and you dare to complain?! There are other who are poor and awful like those Southside scum." Tears threatened to fall down your face, "go to your room!" She pointed a pointy finger to the staircase, "wait till your father hears what words have come out of your mouth!" Without questioning her you ran to the stairs, "and no dinner for you! You're grounded!" With a huff you slammed your door shut and flopped onto your bed.
"Why?" You asked yourself.
--
You didn't remember following asleep but the sound of your door slamming open jolted you awake. The lights to your room turned on and your father stood at the foot of your bed. "Have you been bad today?" Quickly you pulled your knees up to your chest, "I'm sorry father. Mother and I had a disagreement. That's all. Everything is fine?!"
"Everything is fine? Everything is FINE! Don't lie to me and what did I say about YOU calling me Father? Hmm? Only your brothers can call me that because unlike you, they're not a disgrace to our family." He leaned his weight onto your bed frame. Your father thought for minute just glaring at you. Suddenly he stood up right.
"Come here." He commanded holding his hand out waiting for you to take it. "NOW" Your warm hand reached for his cold calloused one. A hand that should of felt welcoming and given you comfort but it only gave you the opposite.
"I said I was sorry!" You pleaded to him. "Sorry doesn't fix it. Fix you." His other hand clenched into a fist.
--
You lay in your bed crying quietly. The sound of your tears would only make your father angrier. The only comfort you got from laying down was that you could hold yourself.
The bright moon shone high in the sky, breaking through the cracks between your curtains. The alarm clock on your bedside read that it was only 9:35 PM.
Your parents go to bed at 9. Along with your brothers. Deciding to disobey your fathers rules you climbed out of bed and scooted to the edge and slowly moved to the window that seemed to always call your name.
The glass felt cold against your shaky fingertips but it still made you smile for some odd reason. You drew the curtains opened at stared right up at the moon and it whispered soothing things. You stepped back for a few minutes, only to change into some comfortable clothes.
A pair of black leggings slipped over your smooth legs, and a baby blue knitted sweater, with a white collar, and some converse. You grabbed your wallet and phone.
The sound of the wind was loud when you slid your window wide open. Carefully you pushed the screen out and placed it against the wall by your window. The moist grass a story below taunted your name. If you were being honest you were kind of scared to jump down. But if you looked to your right a piece of the roof stuck out above a window on the first floor.
Carefully you moved to step onto the roof. It was easy but you still had to climb the rest of the way down. Slowly you moved to the edge of the roof and turned around so your back was facing the starry sky. Your legs dangled from the roof trying to find some solid ground. "It's okay. It's okay. I got this. How hard can it be?" You spoke too soon and lost your grip. Your body plummeted to the ground.
You fell on your back. Groaning in pain you got back up anyways. You weren't going to let a small 'fall' stop you. Finally deciding where you wanted to go you started walking to Pop's Chock'lit Shop. From what you've heard, everyone at your school likes to go there. You've never been there because your parents never allowed you to eat that kind of food.
The walk from your house to Pop's was about thirty minutes but to you it'd be worth it. You've always been more than willing to obey your parents but ever since you'd been around your new friends you realized that you don't have to. Life doesn't only have to be about pain and fear.
After a chilly thirty minute walk, Pop's Chock'lit came into view. Several cars sat in the parking lot. Small puddles of water wet your shoes when you walked across.
When you opened the door a bell rung above your head. It smelled absolutely amazing and it gave off a warm feeling. You actually felt welcomed in here. There were a few people here and there at the counters and the booths were all empty.
Cautiously you moved to a booth right by the door. You've never been to restaurant like this. Your parents despised these kind of restaurants which only made you more curious.
Once you sat down a nice waitress came up to you. "Are you new here sweetie? I've never seen you around here before." Quickly you shook your head. "No, actually I've been living here a few months. I've just never been here to Pop's. All my friends say that this is the best place to eat."
She handed you a menu and laughed. "It sure is honey. Do you know what you want?" You stared at the menu. Everything looked so delicious that you couldn't decide. "Uh... Just get me what ever you recommend." You handed her the menu back. "Comin right up!"
Your phone rested in your hand as you looked at it deciding whether or not you should text one of your friends. Your thoughts were disturbed when the sound of the bell ringing filled your ears. Turning your head around you quickly looked away when you saw who it was. You slouched in your seat hoping they didn't see you.
Three Serpents walked into the restaurant with Jughead in front of them again, just like at school. The two people behind him you recognized right away. Sweet Pea and Toni.
"(Y/n)?" You slowly looked up when you heard your name. Jughead looked down at you confused. He'd never seen you here before and out so late. "Um hey!" You gave him an awkward hand wave. "What are you doing here?" He motioned for you to scoot over and you complied. "Oh you know. Just a late night snack?" He raised an eyebrow. You were never good at lying.
Sweet Pea and Toni sat across the table. "A late night snack? I thought your parents never allow you to eat here?" You sat up straight, "oh no, they don't." Sweet Pea laughed at how nervous you were getting. "Why are you really here?... (Y/n)?" Your name rolled off of Sweet Pea's tongue smoothly. A chill went up your spine.
"A late night snack." You grabbed the napkin holder and started fidgeting it. Jughead noticed how you weren't acting normal. "Hey, you okay?" Jughead slowly reached out and placed a hand on your shoulder. You flinched at the sudden contact, scared that you would get hurt again. Instantly he pulled his hand away with wide eyes. "Did you-did you really think I was going to hurt you?"
You placed the container back down. Louder than you needed to. "No- I'm sorry. I-I've gotta go now." Jughead moved to get out of your way, but before you could leave he grabbed your wrist. You looked down to where he was holding you and saw that your sleeve had ridden up to reveal parts of the bruises on your arm. Jughead's gaze followed yours and saw what your gaze was focused on.
His eyes locked with yours and his eyes were filled with worry. "What is this?" You snatched your arm back in anger. "It doesn't matter. Just leave me alone." Jughead knew better than to let you walk away but he couldn't muster up the courage to reach out to you.
The walk home was a lot scarier than you thought it would be. Pulling your phone out of your pocket you decided to call Betty. She's someone you could trust.
After staring at her contact information you pressed the dial button and held the phone up to your ear.
"Hey, Betty?"
"(Y/n)? Are you okay? Why are you calling so late?"
"I need a place to stay the night and you came to mind."
"Yeah, that's uh fine. You can stay here. Are you okay?"
"Can we talk when I get there?

Riverdale x reader
The reader moves to Riverdale the summer before her Sophomore year. He father is very controlling and prefers her brothers over her. They all come from a rich family and with a dark past.
Today some students from Southside High were being merged with Riverdale. You didn't really know much about the Southside except that FP is the leader of the Southside Serpents and Jughead's dad.
Jughead was the first friend that you made in this small town. He then introduced you to his friends. Archie Andrews, Veronica Lodge, and Betty Cooper. You never told your father about your friends because he wouldn't like them. He never liked anything that you did. Your father favored your brothers.
To hide the bruises your father had given you on your arms, you put on a light grey knitted sweater that had a white collar. A black skirt that ended mid-thigh, black flats, and a simple diamond necklace.
Once your families personal driver had dropped you off at school all eyes that were usually on you were focused on the school front gates, waiting for the Serpents to show up.
You strolled into school noticing a table with lots of papers on it and Veronica, Archie, and Kevin stood behind it. Decorations were strung across the hall including streamers in the school color. Veronica called you over to join them.
Adjusting your backpack you felt it brush against your bruise making you hiss in pain. "Hey, what's this for?" You tucked a piece of your long (h/c) behind your ear. Veronica looked up at you with a bright smile. "This is for the new students." You cocked your head to the side. "Everyone deserves a warm welcome when they come here to Riverdale." Now it was your turn to smile.
"That's very nice of you guys to do." Kevin nodded, "and we have their schedules right here to help them out some more." He added on. "You know (Y/n), you should stay and help us. The more the merrier." You smiled at Kevin's request. "I wish I could. Honestly I really do but-" Veronica rolled her eyes and cut you off, "all you ever care about is your grades. You never come and hand out with us. You're no fun." She pouted.
"You know how my parents are. They're very strict. I would do anything to hang out with you guys at Pop's. But my grades mean a lot to my parents. My father was upset with me because I got an A on my English test. I need to do bet-" the front doors of the school burst open. In walked a small group of Serpents. Leading them was none other than Jughead Jone's. Everyone kept on an emotionless face.
Quickly you put your backpack on all the way even though it hurt. Your eyes scanned the group of kids entering your school. They didn't look as bad everyone said they were. Some of the kids looked intimidating with their leather jackets. You rested a hand on Veronica's shoulder.
"We can talk some more later." She nodded her but wasn't really listening. She was too busy already welcoming them. You chuckled lightly and headed to your first period which was English. As you walked away Cheryl walked down the stairs with Reggie following closely and the River Vixens.
You were always the first one in class. Your teacher wasn't at her desk so you assumed she was out making copies or something. Slowly you walked to your seat which was placed in the middle of the class. You took out your binder that held all your papers for different classes. The clear pocket on the front of your binder held your drawing of a decaying skull and it had several missing teeth. Under the chin of the skull laid a withering sunflower. Everything was drawn with great detail and only a black pen.
"Did you draw that?" Your head snapped up. The new girl stood before you and standing behind her was a tall guy. She was a lot shorter than him. She had a beautiful darker skin and light pink and brown wavy hair resting on her shoulders. That's when you noticed they were both wearing a leather jacket. The guy had dark black short hair, he had one curl that hung loosely in front of his face. His brows were furrowed waiting for you to answer his friend.
You smiled awkwardly at them. "Uh, yeah. I did." She smiled at you and the other guys eyes darted around the room. "It's nice. Does it have a story behind it?" She tried to make conversation. You looked at her suprised. No one has ever asked you that. "Yeah. I feel like I'm slowly dying inside and everything around me." They both looked at you like deers in headlights.
Your laughter quickly filled the room leaving the two confused. "I'm kidding!" You slipped the paper out of the plastic cover and folded it neatly. You didn't need anyone else questioning you about the drawing. "You guys really need to lighten up." The drawing was safely tucked into your jacket pocket. "It's kind of hard to do that when you're in Bulldog territory." The guy spoke up. "Oh, he speaks-" you stood up and held your hand out for the girl. "I'm (Y/n) by the way." Hesitantly she shook it, "Toni Topaz and this big guy here is Sweet Pea." She smiled and gestured to Sweet Pea. You held your hand out for him to shake. He looked at your hand then tucked his hands into his pockets ignoring you. "I'm not here to make friends with stuck up Northsiders like you." You let your hand drop limply to your side.
"Just ignore Sweet's, he's always grumpy. Especially today." You shrugged him off then sat back down. "I get it. It's not easy being in the same room with people who you know hate you for hours." Toni opened her mouth to say something but the bell rang.
Students flooded the classroom leaving the two Serpents standing at the front. Your teacher walked in and smiled at the two students. She said something to them but you couldn't hear since they were further away. They moved to sit at a row behind you.
"As you guys could see we have two new students. I want you treat them all with respect. They deserve an education just as much as you do." She smoothed out her pencil skirt. "They sure as hell are not getting respect from me!" Reggie pounded his fist on his chest. "This is bulldog territory." He turned around to face the two and sent them glares.
Before your teacher could say anything you turned to Reggie who sat a few people over to your left. "Reggie, can you do us all a favor and stop talking? The day has just started and all your yip yapping gives me a headache." He now sent a glare at you. "Oh yeah? How about you shut up? You stuck up wanna be. You're new here too so I don't know why you're talking. If you're really that smart you should know when to stop talking." The whole class laughed at his statement making you flustered.
"At least my brain cells work. Your head is just running on dust-" you leaned in your chair to get closer to him, "tell me, did your brain ever work? Because it's almost like someone chased you through the forest of stupidity and you hit your head on every single tree on your way out." The whole class burst into laughter making Reggie furious.
"That's enough! Reggie, (Y/n). No more talking!!" She slammed her hands on her desk making everyone go quiet. The teacher started her lecture.
The class wasn't even quiet for a minute when Reggie started talking again. "Not only can (Y/n) not keep her legs closed but she can't keep her mouth closed either! I mean look at how short her skirt is and she's already talking with those Southsiders!" He threw his head back in laughter. That really made you mad. He knew nothing about you and was just saying false statements about you to make himself feel better.
Toni was about to tell him off but you stood up. "I'm really not the one who needs the inches. You need the inches more than I do, if you know what I mean. So stop talking like you're all high and mighty and get over yourself." Reggie pushed himself out of his seat.
"Who the fuck do you think you're talking to? Bitch." His figure towered over you. The whole class started shouting but you blocked them out. "I don't know what-" your eyes looked him up and down, "I'm talking to but I'll be sure to let you know when I figure that out." You crossed your arms over your chest and scowled at him.
"That's enough!" Your teacher stood between you guys. "I am sick and tired of you guys always arguing! Grow up. What will your parents think of you if I tell them what you said, (Y/n)?" You glared at Reggie then shifted your gaze to your teacher. "I was only defending myself and my peers. He said awful things not only about me but my friends." You gave her your best puppy dog eyes. No one could withstand your puppy dog eyes. She sighed then looked over at Reggie. "Reggie, go to the office. Now." Reggie frowned, "and you (Y/n)-"she pointed right at you, "this is your final warning."
"That's not fair! She started it!" He pointed right at you, "I don't care who started it. Now go!" Reggie collected his things and walked out leaving you with a satisfied grin on your face.
Your teacher shook her head then walked back to the front.
--
You trudged into the student lounge. You were exhausted already especially from that argument with Reggie. God he made you so angry. Any little thing he did pissed you off. He was cocky and acted like he was better than everyone else, when in fact he was not. You could never understand him.
Betty and Archie were already sitting on the couches talking, waiting for everyone to join them. Their heads went up when they saw your tired form. "Ugh." You plopped onto their laps earning a chuckle from them. Your backpack fell to the floor with a loud thump. "You okay?" Archie asked and Betty started to play with your hair. "I'm tired." You groaned. "School is exhausting." Archie added, "What's up with her?" Veronica asked when she walked in with Kevin. You turned your head to face her. "In first period I got in a argument with Reggie. I can't stand that kid." You groaned in frustration.
"Don't let him get to you, (Y/n)." Veronica moved to sit on the couch so you sat up right. She set her purse down in between you. Just then Jughead walked through the door with his friends. A smile spread across his face. "Guys, I want you to meet my friends." He gestured to the people standing behind him. They all followed Jughead to the couches and took a seat with him. Kevin sat down across from them were you guys sat.
"This Toni-" she waved and leaned back into her seat. "Sweet Pea-" he pointed behind him where he stood. He introduced some more of his friends but your attention was on Kevin. "What's your name?" He asked the dude across from him. "Fogarty, but my friends call me Fangs. You?" Kevin smiled, "Kevin Keller." Fangs frowned. "Oh, you're the Sheriff's kid." Kevin sighed, "I'm not going to snitch."
"Well, well, well. If it isn't the Southside scum." Reggie waltzed into the room with some football players behind him. "What, you've come back for more?" You asked folding your arms across your chest. He laughed at you making you stand up. "You don't scare me, Princess." His friends snickered at your nickname. "I don't know what's wrong with you and your family but-" his eyes dragges up and down your body then he licked his lips, "with that body. I can make time for you." His friends laughed again.
In anger you pushed him back only to fire him up more. Instantly everyone was on edge and your friends stood up. "Why don't you touch me some more-" he leaned in closer to your face. His hot breathe panned across your face, "(Y/n)." A smile crept across his face. "You're like a diaper-" you leaned in a little, "You're self-absorbed and full of shit." His grimy hands reached out for you, "you little!"
Archie pulled you away from him and stood between you guys. "Stop it!" You tried pushing past Archie but he held your arm tighter. "I am so sick and tired of you, Reggie! Let go of me." Archie pushed you behind him and you felt someone else grab your other arm. "Awe, would you look at that. Little miss rich bitch is crazy too. No wonder your family hates you."
"Let me go right now, Archie!" Archie ignored you, "I suggest you leave right before something bad happens." Reggie rolled his eyes and slowly left the room. Archie pushed you to sit back down.
"When I get my hands on him-" you clenched your fist. "(Y/n), stop. You're not making this any better. I know he gets on your nerves but don't put more fuel in the fire. He already has enough. We're trying to get us Southsiders to fit in without anymore drama. They already hate us enough." Jughead placed a reassuring hand on your shoulder. "I know he's twisting your story. But please. Don't make this situation worse than it already is... okay?" You looked up at his piercing blue eyes. "Please? If not for me... for yourself. Don't let the anger control you."
"God..." you looked around to see everyone stare at you with shock. Your friends had never seen you lash out like that and you made a fool of yourself in front of the new students. Sweet pea's eyes bore right into your (e/c) eyes. You tore your gaze away and focused back on your trembling hands. "I'll do it. Only because you asked." Not wanting to deal with their stares anymore you stood up pushing away Jughead's hands gently. "Now if you'll excuse me." He stepped back allowing you to pick up your bag. Betty's hand lurched forward to grab yours. "Where are you going?" She asked. You slipped your backpack back on. "Don't know." Before you reached the door Kevin called your name. "But you haven't eaten yet."
"I'm not hungry. I've had enough drama for today. See ya."

I’m not even remotely happy with the watercolor, but I was pretty ok with my line work before I tried to color it. Typical, right? TO BE FAIR I haven’t watercolored since I was 10 sooo. It was definitely a challenge. I think I’ll stick to oils and acrylics.
This is the scene where Jughead is informed he can no longer stay with The Andrews and will need to live with a foster family. I think this is one of the lesser talked about moments that really shows Jug’s character.
He says “That doesn’t sound completely horrible…” But he’s not saying it for himself. He thinks it will be terrible. He’s heart broken he’s being taken from the first safe place he’s had in a long time. That sentence was for Fred and Archie, to placate them, to counterfeitly reassure them he’s fine with this.

Y/n:And what is his face when he doesn’t like someone?

Firecracker (Sweet Pea x Reader)
A/N: Happy 4th! Requests are OPEN so feel free to send stuff in! Please check out the rules before doing so!
Summary: Sweet Pea and Y/N are spending some time together with the Serpents for the 4th of July, however the reader has a troubled past and fireworks are more traumatic than fun.
Abbreviations: Y/N: Your name
Requested by: @lostnliterature
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Who’s ready to party?” Fangs shouted with a toothy grin on his face as he walked into the Wyrm with a duffel bag over his arm.
You were sitting next to your boyfriend, Sweet Pea, and gave him a questioning look as Fangs walked over to the two of you.
You two had been dating for 3 months and had known each other for another 3 months prior. You sat down next to him in English class and made him appreciate the class a bit more because of your love for English.
“You got the stuff?” Sweet Pea asked Fangs as he set the duffle bag down on the table in front of them. Toni proceeded to walk over and lean up against the table.
“You bet! We’re going to have the best fireworks show ever! Everyone at the trailer park is going to have a real show! I got the real deal stuff!” Fangs said with excitement.
The conversation between the three Serpents continued but you slowly faded into your own thoughts.
You hated fireworks. They brought up memories that were too much for you to handle.
“I’ll be right back” you said quickly before quickly going into the bathroom and locking yourself into a stall.
Your breathing started to become heavier and you could feel your chest pounding as memories flooded back.
You were under your bed, tears running down your face.
You were 8 years old and didn’t know what else to do.
BANG BANG BANG
You flinched.
There was screaming and shouts.
“Get on the fucking ground lady!”
You inched further under your bed.
“Please, I’ll give you anything. Just don’t hurt me please” you heard your mother say.
BANG BANG
That’s the memory that haunted you. At 8 years old when your father was away on a business trip, a gunman came into your house in the middle of the night and shot your mother. Any loud noises scared you since.
Your breathing steadied and the tears stopped. You walked out of the stall and washed your face and blew your nose and looked in the mirror.
Your eyes were a little red and puffy and your face slightly flushed.
This is as good as I’m going to get it
You walked out and noticed a look of concern on Sweet Pea’s face.
“You good babe?” He asked and you nodded.
“Allergies” you lied and he nodded.
~time skip~
You were sitting outside of Sweet Pea’s trailer on a lawn chair. Toni was across from you with Fangs and there was a small bonfire in between you.
“Here you are” Sweet Pea smiled to you as he handed you a coke and sat down next to you.
“When are they going to start the fireworks Fangs?” Toni asked.
“FP said around 10:00 so any minute now” he said.
You bit your lip and grabbed Sweet Pea’s hand.
I’ll be fine.
BANG
Lights showered the sky and you jumped at the noise.
“Aye! Here we go!” Toni shouted with a smile.
BANG BANG
Red and blue lit up the sky and your friends were all smiling, enjoying the show.
Your breathing started to get heavier.
You felt your heart beating in your chest.
“Y/N. You’re crying” Sweet Pea looked at you, his face full of concern. Toni and Fangs turned to you, their faces looking the same.
You opened your mouth to try to get words out but instead a sob croaked out of your throat.
Your body started to shake and your vision became blurry.
You felt arms wrap around you and shouting, but couldn’t make out words.
The fireworks continued to go off and more sobs left your mouth.
You felt plushness underneath you as you were sat down.
Then you felt something cover your ears and your back being rubbed.
You felt like you were having a heart attack.
You didn’t know when it happened or for long it happened for, but eventually your heart slowed down and your breathing became more regular.
You turned and saw Sweet Pea next to you, his arm still rubbing circles on your back, his face still panicked and upset.
You placed your hand on his knee and squeezed it lightly.
He turned to you, and slowly wrapped his other arm around you and buried his head in the crook of your neck.
You stayed like that for a moment and you felt whatever was covering your ears being taken off your ears.
It was silent.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Sweet Pea said softly.
“It’s not something I like talking about. I thought I was going to be fine”
“A panic attack is not fine” his voice was stern.
“I didn’t think- I thought- I don’t like talking about it” you admitted.
“It’s okay Y/N. Take your time, but eventually we’re going to have to talk about this” he said, looking you in the eye.
You sighed and grabbed his hand and held it in yours.
“I’ve had a fear of fireworks or loud any loud noises like it since I was little. It brings back unwanted memories” you said.
“When I was 8, my dad was away on a business trip and it was just my mom and I at home.” You paused and exhaled slowly.
“In the middle of the night there was a crash ad I heard yelling and screaming and gunshots. I hid under my bed out of fear for what was happening. My mother was shot. I fell asleep under the bed when it happened and when I woke up I crawled out from under to go find her and I saw her covered in blood. A pool of blood under her. The house was a mess. Things on broken and on the floor. I remember I called the police and they came and-“ tears were in your eyes once again.
“Hey hey, its okay its okay” Sweet Pea brought you onto his lap and wrapped his arms around you. You wrapped your arms around his neck and buried your head in his neck.
“I’m sorry to hear that. If I knew I would’ve-”
“Pea, its my fault for not telling you. I should’ve come to you when I found out about this but you were so excited and I didn’t want to get in the way” you sniffled.
“Babe, we could’ve figured something out. You shouldn’t be afraid of telling me things”
“I know. I’m sorry”
“It’s okay. I understand”
He put his hand under you chin and lightly pressed his lips to yours.
Errands
This was fun to write but I rushed towards the end. I still think it was a cute idea and I find it funny to imagine Sweets getting so excited about nail polish. This is kinda short idk.
“Just saw your prompt list and was wondering if you could do #4 where the reader makes sweet pea go into a nail salon with her! If not totally fine i just got my nails done and thought sweet pea in a nail salon that might be funny”
Warning: slight cursing.
Prompt:
4) “you still love me”
Y/N and Sweet Pea were the couple of riverdale, they’ve been glued at the hip since they could remember. Always doing everything together, whether it was shopping or cleaning the two were together.
“Sweets, hurry up! How does it take you longer to get ready then me? I have to be at my appointment in 12 minutes!”
“I’m coming, I’m coming hold your horses woman. What are we even doing today anyways?”
“I need to get my nails redone and then I need to go grocery shopping for the both of us. God knows you’ve been living off of chips and cereal for the past week,” this made Sweet Pea laugh. This girl always knew what was best for him. The couple got into Y/N’s car and drove to the nail salon, making it with a minute to spare. Y/N went to check in as Sweet Pea stood awkwardly by the door. Once she saw the giant being all weird, she had come to the conclusion that he couldn’t be left alone here fore to long.
“Hey, I want to know if you could squeeze in my boyfriend and give him a manicure as I get my nails done?” Smiling when they told her yes, Y/N went back to Sweet Pea.
“What’s that smile for?”
“Nothing don’t worry about it babe.” With one final glance Y/N grabbed the giants arm and dragged him to the chair when her name was announced.
“I can wait up front you know that right? I’m a big boy.”
“I know, but your getting your nails done also. So, pick a color and sit down.”
“Y/N there is no way in hell I’m getting my nails painted, I’m not a girl. Nail polish is a girl thing.”
“Please, for me? I love you.” at this statement Sweet Pea sighed.
“Fine, whatever, this is going to be so embarrassing what will the guys say?,” Sweets sighed.
“You’ll be fine, you still love me and that’s all that matters.”
“Yeah, I guess I do,” With this remark, they sat in the chairs and let the workers get started. Y/N was used to the sensation of the drill for her acrylics, but Sweet Pea not so much.
“Hey, what are you doing to her. Her skin is literally flying off. What the hell. Baby, are you okay, is she hurting you. Do you want me to make her stop, cause I will?” This made Y/N and both nail techs laugh. She loved when Sweets got worried about her over small things.
“Babe I’m fine it’s all apart of the procedure, see?”
Y/N realized it was time for Sweet Pea to choose what color he wanted. This was hilarious to her, to see her macho boyfriend trying to decide what color to put on his nails. Choosing from different shades of black and green to “represent”.
“Which one would look better, I don’t want to look to bright, but I don’t want it to go unnoticed,” Sweet Pea asked in a serious manner. All the protest about getting his nails done were gone. Now this huge boy was gossiping with the nail tech.
“You can get both colors Pea,” Y/N replied, laughing as she waited for her nails to cure under the purple light.
“Wait, they really do that. Hell yeah I want both colors! Can you do something fancy to it too? Not to girly cause you know, I’m in a gang and all. I’m a man who needs to look semi manly.”
This made Y/N laugh even harder. Pea was ecstatic, watching the small brush coated in polish glide across his thumb nail. He was fascinated. Once his nails were finished the couple payed and left, but not without Pea making Y/N promise to bring him back next time. Sweet Pea refused to touch anything, afraid he was going to ruin the tiny masterpiece.
The next day at school, Sweet Pea showed off his nails to everyone. He was like a little kid showing off his new toy. Toni was proud that Sweet Pea was able to leave his comfort zone, but still found this hilarious. The best part though, was when Y/N had a group of serpent boys, Fangs included asking to go next time so they can get their nails done also. Looks like Sweets started a trend at Riverdale High.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a quiet night at The Whyte Wyrm, a bar on the Southside of Riverdale.
It was just some teens who were apart of the gang known as the Southside Serpents hanging out along with the King of the Serpents, away in his office doing who knows what.
There was a girl with pink hair that was half up in two pigtails and half down. She wore a pink plaid skirt with a black tank crop top, fishnets, combat boots, and the signature Serpents jacket.
She sat at the counter of the bar cleaning glasses and thinking of how she did not want to go to school at Riverdale High tomorrow.
Then there was a boy with dark quaffed black hair sitting at the bar. He wore tight black jeans, a gray t-shirt, black converse, and a Serpents jacket.
He aimlessly scrolled through his phone, texting random people about random things, bored out of his mind.
There was another boy sitting a couple seats down from the last boy, typing away on his laptop. He had dark black hair that was covered by a gray crowned beanie. He wore some dark blue jeans, a light gray t-shirt that had a dark gray “S” in the center of it, a blue flannel tied around his waist, and some black converse; his Serpent jacket hanging on the chair in back of him.
He typed away about the current ordeal in the not so lovely town of Riverdale. A place where janitors turned out to be cold hearted murderers. Now that that saga had ended and the man who was going by the name of the Black Hood had been shot dead, the boy was able to finish writing about the second tragedy he’s witnessed in Riverdale.
Across from the bar was a pool table where a very tall boy was practicing his skills. The boy with tan skin and black hair, leaned over the table, aiming the pool stick at the 8 ball. He wore some loose black jeans, a dark red t-shirt, black combat boots, and a Serpents jacket.
The room was quiet, yet alive. Each person had their place in the room.
Suddenly, the doors slammed open.
A girl stood in the doorway. She had H/L H/C hair and was H/D. She had a dark blue duffel bag slung over her shoulder. Her pink skirt and white top were covered in dirt, mud, and blood. Her S/C body was covered in the same. Her E/C eyes were droopy, and her right eye was black. Her bottom lip was busted open.
“Help,” she whispered before her body started to collapse.
…
Chapter 1 coming soon
