I swore I had written some headcanons for Arvio as a dad but I did not so here they are lol

Btw im still working on part 2 of the angst fic im just working out on Pen's headcanons lol

Arvio as a dad

He definitely cried when his first child was born. It wasn't just crying though, he was ugly crying because he couldn't believe he was a dad.

He's also very attentive and a bit overprotective with his kids. Arvio can't help it though, he is always afraid that his kids might get hurt.

Speaking of Arvio being overprotective, this combined with his typical impulsiveness is the perfect mix for a new set of shenanigans. For example, one of his kids scrapped their knee? He outs a bandaid and then wraps both of his children in bubble wrap so they can play without getting hurt. Which results in the builder coming home to find their kids wrapped in a thick layer of bubble wrap.

Arvio also takes his children to work with him until they go to school, since he doesn't like leaving them home alone all day. But its cute, he carries his youngest in his arm why the oldest sits and plays with their toys. Plus having them around seems to boost his sales, especially when tourists are visiting Sandrock.

Overall Arvio is a good dad, a bit chaotic but he has good intentions and he tries his absolute best even though he knows he isn't perfect.

Whenever he needs any parenting advice he doesn't hesitate to write to his mom, while including pictures of the kids. His mom has all of the pictures saved in an album which she shows off to everyone she knows in Barnarock and wishes to meet her grandkids more than anything in the world. Arvio's dad carries the picture of his grandkids in his wallet as well as a family picture which both Arvio and Amirah, as well as the builder and the kids are all together. He usually looks at them before and after his work shifts because it helps him calm down.

In the end Arvio wants to be the best as he can and provide his children with everything they need so they don't grow up like he did, with barely any food on the table and overall instability when it came to money.
