Why I am scared to get into my second choice college.

I applied to my top school early decision, and I got rejected.

Now tomorrow I should hear from the school that I think is my second favorite. I’m not sure if it is my second choice yet. 

The thing about the school is that it is the school that both of my parents went to and it is where they met. My mom has worked there for almost my whole life and my grandma used to work there before I was born.

My mother grew up in the same city as this college and so have I. Then my mother went back to the city before she settled down. I don’t want to be just like my mom. My whole life that has been my biggest fear. 

What if I accidentally give up the school I was meant to be at just because I don’t want to be stuck in this city?

Guess first I have to get in first.
