after the last encounter, the one where you exchanged phone numbers, you started texting... quite a lot. and you hit it off pretty well, too. that's how you found yourself near a fountain in the park in your neighborhood, waiting nervously. why? ryo asked you out. well kinda. he said he wanted to 'hang out' but hey, delulu is the solulu, isn't it? 

now you were sitting on a bench in the local park, shaking in your boots. you've never actually properly talked face to face.. and he's soooo cute too... what if you mess up? while you're all up in your head you feel someone tap on your shoulder. you turn to look at them and- "oh ryo hi!" you smile at him. "h-hi, (y/n).." he gives you an awkward smile. "wanna walk around?" he asks. 'perfect' you think and nod at him. he thwn pulls you up by your hand and gets walking "come on!"

just like that all ypur worries were gone. you somehow managed to spend the rest of the day hanging out with ryo, air full of giggles and subtle glances. and that was the first time you'd hung out with hirose ryo.

somehow a week has passed since your meeting... and somehow you couldn't get him out of your head ever since. you're currently on your way from school when you bump into someone. "oh i'm so so- oh?" you look up and are shocked. the person looks back at you and- "o-oh i uh.. h-hi... (y/n), right? sorry..." he says. "ryo? oh hello! i'm so sorry i didn't see you like at all!" you respond quickly. and then it's quiet. awkwardly quiet. he's just blinking at you. you are just blinking at him. but his voice was so pretty, you want him to talk again. and so you try: "so... what are you up to?" but it seems he had the same idea: "can i have your number?" you both speak at the same time. he's still just blinking at you, but now if you squint hard enough you can see the faint blush on his cheeks (as he can see on yours after his question). "o-oh yea..! sure.. give me your phone, i'll put it in," you say as you look away from his eyes quickly. that was how he got your number and that was the first time you talked with hirose ryo.

curse sakuya. curse him for not introducing you to his friends earlier. especially this one. the one you're sitting face to face with. the one who's so cute with the way he's stealing glances at you but still somehow avoiding eye contact. the one who's name is just as cute as him, ryo. everyone at the table is talking except for you and well him. he's even worse than you! he's just sitting there, red as a tomato and quiet. oh how you just want to squish his cheeks. somehow the meeting comes to an end. way too quickly for your liking, you wish you could look at him longer, the way he wants to say something but his mouth is just opening and closing without a sound. look at him and his cute face and eyes and- wait did you just lock eyes? now it's you who's looking away and blushing. and that's the first time you met hirose ryo.

your boyfriend might have told you to go to bed tonight instead of waiting for him, knowing he'd be home later than usual. and you may have not listened to him. it's almost 2am, but you're way too stubborn to just go to sleep. yes, you are tired. and yes, chenle probably won't be back for maybe another few hours, but you can stay up until then, right? wrong. you didn't even notice you were dozing off until you almost fell down face-first from the couch. well, it won't hurt to just close your eyes for a little bit... you'll just close your eyes....

suddenly you woke up due to the sound of your front door opening, a grumpy and tired chenle coming in. you groaned soflty and rubbed you eyes "chenle? is that you?" "hm? darling, what are you doing up?" "i was asleep just now but i'm glad i woke up to see your pretty face," you smiled at him softly, still half asleep. chenle might've not showed it, but his heart really melted just there. "gosh you're so cute..." he sighed and smiled back at you, "go lay in the bed i'll take a shower and come to you, okay?" "mhm okie dokie, lele" you said as you quickly kissed him before going back to your room.

you were about to fall asleep again when chenle came into your bedroom, hair still damp. he looked ethereal. you didn't even realise you were staring at him until he chuckled at you expression and slowly slid next to you in the bed. he quickly wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close enough so that he can nuzzle his face into your neck. when you two finally got comfortable, you broke the silence: "lele... are you okay? did something happen at work?" at that, chenle's body tensed up. but his response to it was only a quiet hum as he cuddled up closer to you. "nothing baby i'm just tired," he whispered. understanding, you held him even closer (if that's even possible) and pressed a soft kiss to his hair. "it's okay le, just sleep. i love you," you said as you continued pressing soft kisses into his hair. seeing as no response came from him, you just assumed he was asleep already. that is until you felt a soft kiss being pressed into your neck together with a little "thank you... i love you so much," escaping his lips as he drifted into dreamland.
