Last night we gently lifted Coyote into the back seat of the universe for his next big road trip. He was persistent—even through the pain and fog of bone cancer (tumor in his jaw the size of a large apricot) and secondary complications—in teaching us to keep our tails wagging, to always play nice, and how to be a loving presence.
