MEDIA LANGUAGE
Is the way a media text's context is communicated to the viewer. One of the forms in which Television Terminology functions is to express meaning by signs and symbols implied by the setting and shooting of a scene.

REFLECTION IN MIL
Looking back at the times during this whole quarter, we really did a great job to widen our horizon with the said subject. We have learned that media and information literacy is not just something you needed to learn as a subject, rather, it is something that you needed to apply even in our daily lives. Media and information literacy is not as simple as we thought, it has a variety of forms that could possibly keep on growing up until the next generation. Media and information literacy taught us how important it is for people to become knowledgeable in communicating and sharing information with each other, generally the whole world. Imagine waking up in a world where you can no longer use gadgets or even share or communicate with other people from faraway places. That is how scary life can be if people had not seen the importance and essence of media and information literacy in our lives. Because of it, people also learned to become a lot more sensitive in which they started to implement laws that could prevent other people from committing such crime. MIL might sound as easy as you think, but it could also be powerful enough to protect someone else’s rights.

STOP BODY SHAMING
Tumblr media
Embrace your flaws, you don’t need somebody else’s approval in order for you to accept yourself for being who you are. Appreciate and love yourself more than you could’ve ever think of. Bloom in your own beautiful way, because in the end, it’s always you that matters the most. You are not the one who’s ugly, society is.

The Evolution of Traditional Media to New Media
“Evolution is the secret for the next step” - Karl Lagerfeld
Hola! As you may all know, media has been a big part of our lives ever since before we were even born in this world. And for the fact that media has its own kind of uniqueness that we couldn’t even imagine is just an amazing thing to learn. So much for that, we will now be tackling a brief insight on how media was able to evolve itself from stone age to becoming a civilized and technological age of media.
We have here is our fella, Senku, also known as Dr. Stone, who will be joining us throughout our journey! He’s here as well to study about the evolution of media for he is trying to gather information to help him throughout his experiment in reviving their world from the scratch. haha.

Pre-Industrial Age
Year 1700′s, media has already began to rose its presence amongst the people of this age. People were able to create their own form of media by communicating with each other through the carving of stones inside a cave, clay tablets and even papyrus which has been used during the time of Egypt. Studies tell that up until the current day, Archeologists are still trying to decrypt those messages made or written by the people from the past. Who knows? It may be something that has to be worth discovering for us.

Industrial Age
People are now able to make use of iron at its full potential with the use of steam. At this age, they made a huge progress in creating telephone as well as typewriters for developing a newspaper. So basically, this age was able to create a machine made of iron which is enough to do multiple works and manufacture various products.. And that’s how the very first mickey mouse was ever created during the time of Industrial Age.

Electronic Age
As you can see, it already stated what kind of age we are trying to delve with right now. Things are now much more civilized compared to what they used to be from the past ages. They now began on starting to use electronic devices as a form of media as well as in communicating. People harnessed the power of transistors which is a device used for regulating voltage flow and acts a switch or gate for electronic signals. Therefore, they were able to invent early computers, televisions and other electronic devices that uses transistors.

And for the final part, we’ve got the
Information Age
Which is our present era. Media now became totally civilized due to the advance technologies that we are using nowadays. Imagine people using the advanced mechanism of microelectronics on how to improvise our technologies even more beyond our horizon. Because of that we were able to express ourselves through social media platform and use social media apps like Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Tumblr, etc. That’s how huge our gap is compared to what they used have before during their time in the past. People were able to make use of every resources and knowledge that they had in order to develop such kind of things in life. Information Age is not yet the end of it, there are still a lot of futuristic things that are yet to unfold.

Media and Information Literacy, often referred as MIL, taught us how not only to effectively communicate in a various forms of communication, but how it can also be a vast source of information and can become an acquirable skill to develop one’s critical thinking and life-long learning skills to socialize and become an active citizen. It also aims to empower every individual by engaging them with the competencies necessary for their development with traditional media and new technologies. Learning and understanding Media and Information Literacy in our lives can be an unending knowledge for it has a continuous development that would keep on growing from one generation to another. I believe that there are still a lot of things that are yet to unfold given the nature of a human being for its curiosity to deepen one’s understanding until they find out the answers they were looking for.

Dul! Set! Annyeonghaseyo! It is I, your bubbly and somewhat shy kind of friend, Ron! Now, why don’t we get straight into knowing myself more, shall we?
I was born on 13th of December, year 2001. Who has a zodiac of Sagittarius. I’m an 18-year-old boy who has a passion for dancing ever since I was a kid, and a bit of liking in singing. Currently a 12th grade student who pursues to become a surgeon in the nearest future. I’m just your typical guy who loves to watch anime, addicted in playing games in any kind of platform, like for real ( lol xd ), I also like to read but only if it’s a manga, I admit that I’m not quite fond of reading books unless it has a similarity with comics. As you can see at the very beginning, I used Korean language as an introduction so I supposed that you already have an idea that I’m into Korean culture as well. K-pop is the sole reason why I became more fascinated in dancing and singing, it’s just that they’re all exciting and fun to watch when they perform on the stage. You can actually feel their presence lingering within you, the urge of wanting to become one like them even though you know it’s not that easy and you have to face a lot of hardships and difficulties if you wanted to become an idol. In spite of those, it didn’t even stop me from dreaming and up until now, I kept practicing myself to become a better dancer like the way they do when they are performing. I’ve still got a lot to say but I guess that would be all for now, I hope we can all tag along in this roller coaster ride.
Feel free to approach me if you ever got something to talk about, I’d try my very best to become entertaining as much as I could possibly be. Thank you for reading until the end!
