As much as the urge was attempted to be forced down, a small satisfied smirk fell on his lips then immediately disappeared. Like always, showing emotions outside rage and disappointment came rare and even rarer to be actual happiness. Some could question that though for himself it was just accepted as the reason behind his existence: he was there due to her forced down rage and fury after all. KAITO took more steps into the tent keeping a cold gaze on first the one standing centre stage then towards what plushies were viewable. And what thought had come first was confusion followed swiftly by more of that annoyance. Too lively and bright but also friendly and weird, dare the vocaloid say even internally. Something about it felt off especially to one who was not supposed to exist there . . . but no current harm in seeing a bit more if it was allowed (though unknowingly by the main governing variation of KAITO, whatever reason there was behind such a decision). 

Though instead of speaking in response, he just stopped still. Finding momentary distraction along with his selective mutism coming into play. And the focus was nothing but a single piece of fabric then became the tent as a whole. All that came from his lips was the sound of V1 KAITO forming a sentence only out of Morse code ( “could I just steal this piece or maybe ask more about the tent? It would be nice to hide away back there for a while. Away from Luka anyway.”) Then he turned back around to look at Tsukasa still keeping that cold and empty stare. Waiting just a moment as he decided finally to speak.

“ role? unlike you I do not care for acting, if that is the word.” Slowly steps to walk even closer and stopping just by the stage, internally questioning how his outfit was that confusing. “ . . . I always wear this, what else should I wear? Unlike you, I have no need for anything brighter and, disgusting to speak, cheerful. A market failure and the stain on the company along with her anger will dress fitting to that role. . . who are you?”

" --- Concluding today's performance with a dazzling light, your Pegasus shining throughout the sky~! " He projects the line with a twirl and a wave of his hand afterwards, gesturing out towards his lovely audience in a sweeping motion, before placing that hand back on his chest and taking a bow. 'Tsukasa Tenma!' The plushies finish his line for him, cheering and waving around little flags in their stuffed hands. Tsukasa straightens himself up, beaming at his adorable audience in absolute delight. " Yes! That call and response is exactly what we need to get everyone's hearts connected at our next show! I'm so glad Shizuku gave me so many ideas --- "

Before he can say anything else, however, one of the toy's yelp in surprise. Everyone looks in the direction the toy stares, and gasp at the menacing presence entering the tent. Tsukasa can't help but let out his own yelp, as all the toys and plushies begin to hide behind him on the stage, or cower behind various seats and props strewn about. Squinting at the new presence, he's just about to call out the vocaloid's name, when -

" ― you look like an absolute fool. "

" K...Kaito? " The other's harsh words hit a little hard, Tsukasa wincing as if he took actual damage. The toys whimper and cower even more. " H-Hey, guys, it's okay. " Tsukasa tries to comfort them, patting one on the head and scratching behind a do plushie's ears. But while Tsukasa could just assume that Kaito was perhaps method acting with this whole new get up, something felt...off. He couldn't put his finger on it, though, and now wasn't the time to question it when all the toys were so scared.

" Oi, Kaito...You've really gotten into your role, huh? " The young man stands a little straighter, waving for the toys to stay together, while he started to stride over to the other. " I never thought you'd go with something so...dark-looking though? What kind of play is it for? " Curiousness mixed with an unknowing air, a hand on his chin in pondering as he stops at the stage steps. If he could at least just get into a normal conversation, maybe the toys could realize it's an act and be less afraid. And he could bury this worried feeling he got while staring at the man.

He let out a slow rising laugh as one hand easily opened up the liquor bottle without even a glance being given in its direction. A testament to how often it was tried. Though with that being done, KAITO took a spoonful of icecream and, after trying to talk although only being muffled by the dessert / breakfast meal, waved the spoon in a circle.

“ have my thanks!! She’d lose it this time.” As if she already hadn’t time and time again. Was it not yesterday he was locked outside?  “ oh? this? well it works for me and I find it to be the best start to the day! DJ-ing goes better with this.” he quickly followed the words not with a single swig, but by downing at least 1/4.

" hello , kaito - san , " toya greets with a small smile . at this point , he's unsurprised to see the virtual singer helping himself to ice cream , but he does quirk a brow at the liquor bottle also present . has that always been in the cafe ? regardless , toya approaches to sit beside the other without hesitation .

" i won't tell meiko - san . " he doesn't need to -- she'll definitely figure it out herself . " but ... if you don't mind my asking , can you ... drink -- that ? i mean , does it ... work ? "

Given that no other virtual singer was present, KAITO opted for trying to steal what ice-cream was being stored & one bottle of vodka. Quite the strange breakfast but it was what he currently was sat enjoying. Up until recognising the sound of the shop door's bell. It forced the blue haired man to turn slightly before offering up a wave to Toya, keeping the spoon in his mouth.

" hello!! Are you alone? Not sure if you are but more than welcome to sit with me! Can talk about anything! . . . outside getting Meiko-san."
