best unsubtle way to describe their relationship
(found family that is never fully found, doomed to remained unfufilled by their own stubborness to grow)
Bullseye: first time i met him he was as nutty as usual- did less of the religous talk though... in fact he barely spoke at all- mostly just grunts and growls and once in a while hed say something like "move" or "go left" nothing beyond 4 syllablles... i dont know when he started the hokey poem-speak... but at least hes talking more, i guess- gives some hope of him somewhat becoming a normal person... but i dont think he wants it that way....

Bullseye with his son Shane & Kid Hooks with his father Otis
neither bullseye nor hooks go by their original names and bullseye will openly refuse the idea that he was fredrick- fredrick died along with his family

Is Bullseye single
Asking for a friend
just some of Bullseye's unspoken groundrules:
1. just a quick fling. he can and will just leave without notice.
2. no romance. just not his thing (anymore) youre friends with benefits at most.
3. he can get annoyed with company very easily- don't push your luck
overall if your looking for companionship, hes not the guy you should be going after- there are better options and he will tell you that to your face.

just a quick little situation doodle:
Bullseye had just recently bandaged up Hooks, and knowing what Hooks is like he decided to also hide his gear from him- which while normally wouldnt be an issue- as Hooks is known to scavenge for all his stuff, Bullseye hid what he would never replace: His Hooks.
I havent mentioned it in post before but Hooks has a habit of anthropromorphizing his name-sake, talking to them and hearing their unspoken voices in his mind- call it sideffect of his mental condition to years of isolation and the trauma of watching his family murdered in front of him and having to escape the torture he endured from the same group who did it.
So Hooks is very much attached to them and wont leave unless he finds them. Knowing that and wanting Hooks to spend more time healing, Bullseye hid them with the rest of his gear. But Bullseye is still Bullseye, and will definitely give up and leave once hes been annoyed. Bullseye definitely wants to help but with as little involvement as possible, still being just as much of an isolationist jackass as Hooks.
