the fact that all i said was “homophobia is child abuse” as my closing argument if you will and everyone went absolutely feral on me for that statement like, did you think only cishet kids experience abuse? is child abuse only valid to discuss through a heterosexual lens as well? do closeted kids have to keep their sexualities and their trauma closeted for you to be comfortable with us discussing these themes into our adulthood?
