WHAT IS A SILENT DISCO ?
These clubs are known to many in Europe, but the first time I saw this news was a few days ago in Switzerland and I was very pleased that I wanted to share it with you.
WHAT IS A SILENT DISCO?
The silent disco is a place where you can only listen to the music played by the DJ through headphones-wireless headphones.

I know, it sounds strange but it works. When you enter the disco you must immediately ask for the headphones, since otherwise you will not be able to listen to any music.
Despite the fact that only in 2016 I know about the existence of these, I was investigating and apparently it is something that started approximately since 2010. Initially in European countries such as Austria, England, Belgium, Switzerland and recently in Latin America in Chile.
It is said that one of the reasons why they started with the quiet nightclubs was in order to respect the neighbors who live around the discs, because in Europe people usually do not withstand noise at such late hours.silent disco_

The  headphones  are of excellent quality as they have two   very  important characteristics :
1: You can turn up the entire volume and you will stop listening to the winged person but even though it is the whole volume you will not damage your ears. This is a point in favor of health because if you want to talk with your friends or with your partner you can lower the volume a little or all the volume so as not to enter the need to be screaming and wake up the next day with a sore throat.
2: They have 2 or 3 different music options, the main one is where the DJ is cheering and the second or third place where you will find another type of music. For example you can have Pop in one season and in the other sauce. This is super funny and fun because everyone can have fun while dancing differently.

MY EXPERIENCE IN A SILENT DISCO IN SWITZERLAND
Personally, I loved it, I imagined that I would find pure serious people without dancing because of the shame but it turns out that people even cheered up more, the DJ also acclimated a lot, and when I lowered the entire volume of my hearing aid I could hear the Super euphoric people singing the same song  in the video you can see a little of that day.
The fashion of dance venues with wireless headphones proliferates in the United States.
silent DISCOTECA is an oxymoron that would have triumphed in the Baroque, when the deaths that gave life and the frosts that were freezing were common in the literature. Today, in the 21st century, they proliferate in the US as a kind of collective mime, a strange joke for the senses, full of contrasts. As soon as you enter The Federal Bar, in the North Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, the atmosphere is soulless, with dancers moving unparalleled, in a silence broken by isolated conversations and intermittently sung choruses. But the picture changes as soon as one holsters the helmets that are distributed at the entrance, previous delivery of the credit card as a deposit. With them on, everything takes on another meaning.
Andy Taylor is delighted. He dances like a professional, delivered, and the silent disco offers two advantages over traditional clubs: he can first change the channel, if the music does not inspire him. There is not one, but three DJs, which are distinguished by the color of the light that illuminates the helmets: red for music from the 80s and 90s, blue for hip-hop and R / B, and green for the most contemporary hits and the electronic music. "The visual element helps to interact with people, because you can switch to the channel they are listening to, start dancing the same music." He then walks away, and approaches two girls who dance music by Taylor Swift on the green channel.

The second advantage is the same that fascinates Birgiani, who has come from Compton, 100 kilometers away: “Do you realize how incredible it is that we are chatting without shouting, listening perfectly, while people dance?” He asks, with the helmets resting on his shoulders, in a break from his energetic twerking. The only problem is that it is germphobic and it is a bit disturbing to know that helmets are worn. "Next time I will bring disinfectant towels," he says.
As the track is filled with dancers with lights on the ears, a certain bite is perceived among the DJs
Substituting rumbling speakers with wireless headphones multiplies the type of possible places to mount a party, private or public: from cruises, to street parties, through university campuses, even hotel lobbies. Technology has been available for more than a decade. “We have rented the equipment for events from Universal, from NASA, for festivals and even a section of the Halloween parade on Sixth Avenue in Manhattan…”, explains Mike Bagood, head of Quiet Events , one of several companies that organize this type of events and rent the equipment, in Los Angeles. “We rent about 10,000 helmets on average per week. At first I thought it was a ridiculous idea, but when you see the possibilities it has, you convince yourself. ”
As the track is filled with dancers with lights on the ears, a certain bite is perceived among the DJs. DJ Axo changes his own channel helmets to see what the "competition" puts. For a while, Despacito in the green channel competes with Can't touch this by MC Hammer in the blue. In the end, the one who takes the cat to the water is the red DJ, who puts Cha cha slide . The entire track becomes a sea of red lights moving in unison. "Sometimes we do bite," laughs Candyse Frazier, who runs the red channel. “I try not to get frustrated. If I see that another DJ puts something very popular, I wait a couple of minutes, and then I attack with another great dance classic. Of course, if the hip-hop channel DJstart to put songs from the 90s or 80s, you might show me. ” Not two months go by without being called for a “silent” event. Towards the end of the night, there is little left of silent, because who resists singing loudly while dancing their favorite song?
