Package - NET
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have created a vector drawing of the net for the package for the playing cards size. i have amended the net to the exact size I want it which can hold 54 cards; which I will be doing all together as I have 5 ways of speech done and what they mean already added.
My front and back of pack of cards might be an information card for inside. i am not sure as of yet for this. I might have a look of what I can do.

https://blackburn.foodbank.org.uk/
“The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”
We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
Trussell Trust is supporting food bank to help people in poverty this is a great cause.
My next step is research more into the community background and the Trust who are part of this huge fantastic event to do.

An Ancient research of Christmas - Where did the holiday come about?
The middle of winter has long been a time of celebration around the world. Centuries before the arrival of the man called Jesus, early Europeans celebrated light and birth in the darkest days of winter. Many peoples rejoiced during the winter solstice, when the worst of the winter was behind them and they could look forward to longer days and extended hours of sunlight.
In Scandinavia, the Norse celebrated Yule from December 21, the winter solstice, through January. In recognition of the return of the sun, fathers and sons would bring home large logs, which they would set on fire. The people would feast until the log burned out, which could take as many as 12 days. The Norse believed that each spark from the fire represented a new pig or calf that would be born during the coming year.
The end of December was a perfect time for celebration in most areas of Europe. At that time of year, most cattle were slaughtered so they would not have to be fed during the winter. For many, it was the only time of year when they had a supply of fresh meat. In addition, most wine and beer made during the year was finally fermented and ready for drinking.
In Germany, people honored the pagan god Oden during the mid-winter holiday. Germans were terrified of Oden, as they believed he made nocturnal flights through the sky to observe his people, and then decide who would prosper or perish. Because of his presence, many people chose to stay inside.

Religion of Christmas
Religion is among to be a huge evidently Christmas is both a sacred religious holiday and a worldwide cultural and commercial phenomenon. For two millennia, people around the world have been observing it with traditions and practices that are both religious and secular in nature. Christians celebrate Christmas Day as the anniversary of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, a spiritual leader whose teachings form the basis of their religion. Popular customs include exchanging gifts, decorating Christmas trees, attending church, sharing meals with family and friends and, of course, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive. December 25–Christmas Day–has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1870.

These are initial site designs for pages onto the SU website. I have created the logo which sits at the top of the page but below the menu bar which is important to this site. I have applied drop down menu on some page buttons at top to indicate there is more sub tabs involved such as SU team members. I just need to take photos of the Students’ Union and the University itself with the team photos as well. to put on the front of page.

Source Code - JD Sports
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The third picture shows the CSS and html coding which is used and this is known as the navigation bar, this is key to navigate through different pages and also images which can add on the source code! I do like the colours used and the graphics which they have applied, the logo is simple and matches with the brand colour. The website has its difficulties with complicated buttons and links that are are dotted in arguably wrong places, due to their products and prices which I found evidently.

Evaluation – Web and Social Media
I began this module with a tutorial on how to use adobe dreamweaver. We as a group also got taught what hyper-text marked-up language (html) and cascading style sheet coding’s which will be applied with the learning which has took place. Then I researched more into different types of coding’s. I looked into page sources of websites and screenshot the sites and annotated on what I feel is important which I can use for my website, I investigated into the ‘human computer interaction’ which were another feature part of my module.
Next I created six personas which are made up profiles of people who are likely to visit my site and will benefit from it. Then we as a group got given a task to do is to read through ‘The Elements of User Experience’ by Jesse James Garret which will help us create our website.
Firstly I struggled to create my website which I started on dreamweaver first but then I went onto ‘WIx’ which is a template building website. Dreamweaver is good software but this will take time to create the website plus it will be looking unprofessional so I went off the software and moved into Wix were I started creating my website. Wix is challenging in its own right because it is a template kind so the coding has already been added but not be me, but I will apply coding to the website which I did towards the end of the module.
Overall I enjoyed my module it was very challenging to learn coding which I struggled to do, but the learning has took place because I know how to create code and apply this to my website or any other appliances.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is the source code from my own graphic design twitter account. Then I looked at the source code and found interesting symbols and coding within the source code. On top of the page there is a menu bar were click on those buttons at the top it will send you onto another page which means that button. Great for navigation there is an issue behind other buttons and links which could be an hoax or spam, Twitter can’t fight against that just like other websites and social media accounts. That is an obvious negatives which surrounds that problem.
Future trends tied into social media accounts and web access -
There is a huge amounts these days of youth members creating social media accounts and that could lead to disastrous circumstances.
There is a lot of issues and problems by using the web and in the future this problem could accelerate, but I think that the consumerism is an issue and the environment what we are use to. Some people have said to me including a tutor says, the future of consumerism will get better and living in a more better world, with the world leaders getting along and the future technology to the best compatibility that it can be! We will see what will happen. This could be coming into our world in the next 10-20 years from today.

Future Trends
-       WiFi-enabled 'smart' gadgets, devices and appliances.
It's not just your computer and your smartphone that are connected to the Internet these days. We're starting to see a lot more gadgets and household objects come with WiFi-enabled features. And someday, our entire homes and cities could thrive on a connected network where every device, machine, and thing can communicate with one another to perform and automate tasks. That's what we'll see if and when the Internet of Things becomes a part of mainstream reality.
Tumblr media

They are many Interactive screens are now in full working use with most companies. For example McDonalds have big screens were you can select your meal and drink which has pro’s and con’s about the machine, if you don’t have a credit card with you, you can’t pay for the meal, especially you’re in a rush which is not good, but the pros are it is a quick process instead of waiting longer to being served and not dealing with the cashier.
Also a contactless payment method were you can swipe your credit card to pay for your good in most retail shops and it is another handy and quick process within the public use. I think there is again pros and cons within using this way of method as anyone in use of your card can purchase anything, but the cons are it is a quick method and you can save time within purchasing your item/s.
I think over the future trends through the technology world will be peaking shortly and then a move away of more updated versions more of a steadier ship will commence, but it doesn’t mean the gaming consoles, such as: Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox will stop newer versions coming out, but there will be a steady decrease or a halt to proceedings and it will take more and more effort to ‘wow’ customers and games for example so they have to keep that on-board.

Top 3 Trends what is happening now!
Web and Social Media
1. Selfie Movement: The front-facing camera on our smartphones changed the way we take pictures, and social apps changed the way we share them. It's far too convenient to share selfies these days, which is why we've probably seen the trend grow into something we've all really learned to embrace. And it probably doesn't help that there are countless photo editing apps available that make it a breeze to enhance your selfie before you even share it.
 2. News breaking on Twitter first (before it breaks anywhere else): If you want to get access to the latest news as fast as possible, Twitter is your best option. This little micro-blogging social network changed the way we consume news and stay updated on what's happening in real-time. Of course, the problem with such quick breaking news is that there's no guarantee that everything that shows up in your Twitter stream is true and credible. Still -- there's no other platform quite like it for getting your news fix.
 3. The animated GIF is a magnificent cross between an image and a short video -- without the sound. Popular social networking platforms that thrive on image-based content Tumblr and Reddit have become go-to places for GIF sharing, or there's Giphy -- the Internet's image search engine for GIFs. Google even recently introduced an image search filter for animated GIFs, so you know where to find something when you really need to find a specific GIF, fast.
