You don’t have to be the first trans woman on the moon, or the disabled person who ran 18 marathons in a week, or discover a new element or anything

You shouldn’t have to prove that you’re worth remembering because of who you like or how you dress or your skin colour or what you can or can’t do

You can just be you and do what you can, cause it’s your life, and everyone is worth remembering regardless of what they accomplish!

At this very moment in fact, I’m preparing to fetch my horse, Marmalade, as well as a cask of fine brandy, and stroll directly into the Mariana’s Trench. Go out with dignity, as they say. truly some people have no genre savviness whatsoever. A girl came back from the dead the other day and fresh out of the grave she laughed and laughed and lay down on the grass nearby to watch the sky, dirt still under her nails. I asked her if she’s sad about anything and she asked me why she should be. I asked her if she’s perhaps worried she’s a shadow of who she used to be and she said that if she is a shadow she is a joyous one, and anyway whoever she was she is her, now, and that’s enough. I inquired about revenge, about unfinished business, about what had filled her with the incessant need to claw her way out from beneath but she just said she’s here to live. I told her about ghosts, about zombies, tried to explain to her how her options lie between horror and tragedy but she just said if those are the stories meant for her then she’ll make another one. I said “isn’t it terribly lonely how in your triumph over death nobody was here to greet you?” and she just looked at me funny and said “what do you mean? The whole world was here, waiting”. Some people, I tell you.

seven hundred and fifty sounds like a lot of words but oi think if you put 750 meat pies in front of me right now i could eat every last one of em! i would say "ohh im only gonna eat a couple of these!" and then id eat four and id say "weeelllll i could go for another..." and that would turn into five meat pies and then six and then id have eaten SO MANY MEAT PIES! it would be a whole event! me an the South Town Boys would be sharing stories of it for years!!! what were we talking about again
