Overview of unity experience
I struggled learning with unity as it was more on the coding side, since i have only done minor coding it was tricky to learn even with the assistance of the teachers. I ran into many errors on my journey through unreal such as forgetting to change layers in Photoshop when working on different parts of a tile map as well as splicing incorrectly, But the main issue i ran into was when i built my game it built wrong and there was a clear gap between the the tiles i had painted and i fell through the first layer of sand. I did not run into these issues when i play tested in the Unity engine.
Also my blog progress was hindered due to my account being terminated as soon as i created it, and i did not contain control of the account until several months later. This made it so i had to do many hours catching up on blog posts on subjects that i had done a long time ago making it difficult to remember everything we had done

                                       1) Crash Bandicoot 
Crash Bandicoot is a fast paced game that involves the player (playing as Crash) running away from enemies that are chasing after you whilst you are trying to complete different types of puzzles such as jumping puzzles.

Crash Bandicoot is a game that has been around for many years as the first installment of the game was released in September 1996 and the latest installment being released in jun 2019

Crash had a large range of developers (nealry one for every game) from Naughty Dog (1996 - 1999) to beenox (2019 - present).The game series is released on most platforms, from xbox 360 to ps4 to pc.

Adam is an ex concept artist known for being a concept artist for popular games such as Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.and Fallout 3 and for his work at bethesda studios.

Dylan Cole
Dylan Cole is a digital concept  artist that worked primarily on TV shows but also worked on video games. He is recognized for his work in shows and movies such as Lord of the Rings and Avatar, Both containing stunning scenery.

8bit techniques
what are power of 2s:
The power of 2 is a system where game creator can regulate the size of 2D assets they are creating EG, 2bit, 4bit, 8,bit ,16bit and 32 bit. i personally prefer to work in 64bit because it best suits my art style and i can get more detail in without hindering pixel art format 
screen ratio
8bit vs 16bit;
An 8bit game will usually contain less detail in the charters and assets where as 16bit will contain more detail because the designer has more pixels to work with,
dithering: dithering is a process where the person designing the assets for their game reduce the amount of colors hey can use for their assets for example, when a designer uses an 8 bit system to create their assets they can only use around 256 different colors.

Document size: when creating a pixel art asset you need to use differant document sizes depending on what bit you are working with. if you are working in a 8 bit system, you need to work in 8 x 8 pixels.

Choice of the Deathless is a choose-your-own-adventure style RPG that was published by choice of games. The aim of the game is to kill demons that bwill reward you souls when killed, your end goal is to play off your student debt.

Oxenfree
Oxenfree was developed and published by nightscore studio, it was released in January 2016 on the Xbox one, PS4, Nintendo switch and Mobiles.

It is a single-player, graphical adventure game which is built around a walk and talk mechanic, A walk and talk mechanic involves the player walking an talking at the same time instead of going over to a character and talking to them face-t--face, this lets the character explore the map instead of getting bored by boring character dialogue.

your goal when playing the game is to complete puzzles when traveling through the map, you complete these puzzles by using the main characters radio and use the correct pitch on the radio.

Tell tale games
Tell Tale Games (TTG) is a company that works with other companies to create games that are based off the companies they worked with to create  a story driven game where it evolves the player usually playing as different charters where they they get multiple choice areas, meaning, their actions have a great deal on the story line for example: the player may have a choice to kill a character or to keep them alive. Example of games that tell tale have worked on:

                                 Borderlands: Tales from the borderlands.
Tales from the borderlands was released in November, 2014, and was released on xbox one, PC and PlayStation. it is a single player game because you are the character that is controlling the AIs actions meaning, multiplayer would not fit the style of the game. There were 5 episodes of this game series where you had to buy them individually (which i personally don’t like because it causes much expense and i would rather get all of the game for one large price )

When you are playing tales from the borderlands you are playing as 2 separate charters named Rhys and Fiona. But the player meets a large amount of characters throughout playing the game, where you can build relations with them.

A scriptable object is an item that the player can interact with
for example: a button that will display a message when interacted with, these could be pared with buttons, for example, you can press a button (eg interact with a character) and some speach will appear.

for the most part i enjoyed the feeling of satisfaction when i would attempt create something and it would work, it was difficult to make because i had never done anything like it before.

My number game
the idea of the game is that the player has to think of a number between 1 and 100 and the game has to try and guess the number.
the player has to say where ever the game has guessed the number, the number the game guessed is too high or if the number the game guessed is too low.
if the player says the number is too low then the game will increase the number and vise versa.
unfortunately i had to restart my design so i made these in a few minutes as place holders
