Ophelia is the daughter of the two Queens of Mewni, Queen Star and Jackie Butterfly. She lived a life full of luxuries, with no boundaries at all. She was loved by everyone and had the best life anyone could ever imagine. But something was missing from her life. She had no friends, nobody would talk to her, not even her beloved subjects! She was next in line for the throne, but she knew she couldn’t take the responsibility. If anything, she’s just an insecure kid. When she learnt about Robin Donohue, the infamous thief who stole the Butterfly wand, she grew more responsible and decided to ban him from ever entering Mewni.

ABOUT MEWNI, IT’S QUEENS AND IT’S ROYAL SUBJECTS

300+ years before the present timeline of Robin Vs, Festivia is the actual daughter of King Shastacan and Eclipsa. And Eclipsa did marry Globgore and had Meteora, she was never crystallized for it, though, since she managed to reason with King Shastacan and the Magical High Commission. They agreed to make Meteora the heir to the throne, but on one condition, Festivia also gets to rule Mewni. And so, they split Mewni into two, creating Eastern Mewni and Western Mewni. Eastern Mewni is governed by Meteora’s family line, and Western Mewni is governed by Festivia’s family line. The wands were also split in half, creating two different wands that exists at the same time.

Because of the split, Meteora’s line had gone with a different surname, which is Firefly (thank you mer-vs, for the surname suggestion, I owe you ;;). And so, ever since the split, there had been two royal families, the Butterflies and the Fireflies.

Easterners, as they call the citizens of Eastern Mewni, are more accepting of monsters (some of them are even monsters/half-monsters!), and are brutish, barbarian-like people, whereas Westerners, the citizens of Western Mewni, are more sophisticated and snobbish. Westerners do not agree towards mixed bloodlines and disapprove of Eastern Mewni’s ways of life. You can say they are quite racist. Although they do not approve of each others’ ways, they decide not to bother making a fuss about it.

The war between Toffee’s army and Moon never happened, because he and his army was able to live in peace in Eastern Mewni. Comet never died, and became a kind and loving grandmother towards Star. Star did grow up a rebel, though, and was sent to Earth. There, she met Marco and Jackie, who she became best friends with.

ABOUT ROBIN DONOHUE AND THE WAND THEY STOLE

Now you must be wondering, which wand did Robin steal then? Well, Robin stole the Eastern wand, which, as you know, belongs to Meteora’s line. When they stole it, it instantly merged with the ring they were currently wearing. And for some unknown reason, no one can take it off except for themself. (it’s either its really unknown in the story or just lazy writing lmao)

I really don’t know what else to say about them and their wand but yeah, that’s just it for them.

And since I have told you about that, I just wanna let you guys know that I have a lot of character designs planned for this AU. Like, the current heir of Eastern Mewni and their parents and grandparents. I basically rewrote the whole story lmao.

ROSE LUCITOR

Parents: Tom Lucitor and Marco Diaz Age: 18 Likes: Roses, Socks, Piercings, Love Sentence, Bunnies, Crimes Dislikes: Mewni, Robin Donohue (at times), annoyance, the colour pink Personality: calm, quiet, troublemaker, a little bit of a klutz, caring Gender/Pronouns: Female, she/her

Rose had a normal, normal life. Or so she thought. She was the daughter of the two kings of the Underworld, King Tom and Marco Lucitor. She was born from magic and was the rightful heir to the Underworld. At age 14, she found out that she was bisexual and that she had an attraction to both genders. She was walking along the border of the Underworld and Mewni when she noticed a.... boy..(?) running away from Mewni. She helped them and became friends with them.

ROBIN DONOHUE

Parents: unknown Age: 19 Likes: Magic, Stealing, Rose Lucitor, the colour pink, small and compact items Dislikes: being caught, the Butterflies, unnecessary drama (unless he caused it), purple, annoyance Personality: kind towards his friends, judgemental, clumsy, selfless at times, “i am doing this for the greater good” kind of guy Gender/Pronouns: Gender neutral, they/them

Robin just wanted to live a life where they didn’t have to steal for their survival. They just wanted a perfect life where they could just live without doing anything wrong. But unfortunately, such luxury cannot be obtained by them. And so, they lived their life as a thief, constantly stealing things for their survival. They never knew their parents, so they only needed to fend for themselves. Their life got worse and worse as the days passed. They constantly have to move around, making sure they won’t get caught by the Royal Guard. But everything changed when they managed to steal the Butterfly wand. For the better? Nah, for the worst. They became a wanted criminal and if they were caught, they were sentenced to death. So much for a happy life, huh? They fled Mewni and met with Rose Lucitor, a kind girl who helped them stay out of trouble.
