What advice would you give to beginner artists that are looking for their own personal style?

Try different things for draw characters, backgrounds, etc, different styles. Different ways of sketching, lineart, and coloring! use different pencils!

Over time, you'll be able to gather what you like most from those attempts. You might find a coloring style you like!

You can search for your favorite artists from different fandoms and create your own style from there. Note: I'm not saying you should copy their style entirely. I don't know if that's right. I've just seen problems with that-

Just transform it into something different, maybe something simpler or more complex. Little by little, you'll find a way to find your own style. Try it with trial and error. Be patient and keep moving forward o:!
