The huntress had been sat outside on the porch’s step—the cool breeze of the dimly lit evening carding through her teal hair. She’d had her guard down, just this once, with no stake-stacked sash slung over her shoulder. She’d also clearly been on the more vulnerable and weakened side judging by the various bandages binding her chest and shoulder, just barely being covered by her long coat.
