Yeah, I'm starting one for once! Here's mine - 1. If you could be in any period of history with knowledge that you needed and supplies you needed, when and where would you go?

Egypt, during the Old Kingdom. It was a time of prosperity, and people had more rights than they did in any other time in Egypt's history.

2. If you could be in any Harry Potter school, which one would it be? Durmstrang, hands down.

3. What is your favorite childhood story?

Inkheart - I was jealous that she had a power that I could only daydream about.

First post for the Nexo Week posts! Favorite character - obviously Clay Morrington! Does it surprise anyone? Nope!

Either Weapons in My Pocket by Chelsea and Nico Collins, or Unsweetened Lemonade - they hit the feels pretty hard.

I don't really have a number, though I guess I'd go with 6, since that's the amount of Original MCU Avengers.

They taste good, especially after thirty minutes of getting people food, or a road trip. BUT - I usually stick to Gatorade or vitamin water. After the Cross Country and Track soda detoxes, I can't handle a lot.

BOOKS. I am a certified book dragon. Specifically old books, I get excited when I find REALLY old books that are printed in like - 1915 or something.

Indigenous beadwork and crafts in the Museum of the Rockies - the amount of detail is amazing!

I love myself a good hardcover. It's durable, you can whack a dummy gently or not-so-gently (Reader's discretion), and you don't have to worry about the cover falling off.

EGYPT. Hands down, going to Egypt.

Orecchiette - especially in macaroni and cheese, the cheese just hides in the little nooks.

Drawing Queen Halbert from Nexo Knights, and me and my partner in a Lego version of the Old West. (Was I inspired by thinking about nostalgic Lego games I used to play, and the Lego game I had to play to get that itch to play said nostalgic game out? Maybe)

There’s so many songs I love, but a song that never fails to make me stop everything I’m doing just to listen is Blue Radio by The 5.6.7.8’s; I literally got the CD just for the song since it’s not on streaming anywhere

what's your FAVORITE number?

Hmm for some reason it’s always been 72 for as long as I can remember

how do you feel about coke/pepsi and adjacent sodas?

I like Coke and Pepsi about the same and tolerate the rest. I usually prefer sparkling water

do you collect anything? if so, what?

I am a chronic collector. I collect tons of books, DVDs, CDs, VHSs, trinkets, weird shaped bottles, soda tabs, coins, sunglasses, gloves, earrings, pins, niche t shirts, etc.

what's a piece of art that you've seen/heard in person (or for a movie, seen in theaters) that you still think about/are glad to have seen?

I think two of the most moving performances I’ve seen have been Weyes Blood singing God Turn Me Into a Flower and Black Country, New Road singing Laughing Song. Both made me tear up which is odd since I never cry at concerts. I’m also very grateful to have seen Everything Everywhere All At Once in theaters knowing close to nothing about it!

hardcover, paperback, e-reader, or audio books?

Omg paperbacks all the way; I prefer physical media for reading anyway, not to mention that they’re cheaper and easier for storage!

Weirdly enough, I think it’s penne rn. It’s what’s usually used for spicy pink vodka pasta which is my fav at the moment :)

I have so many books I want to read and so many WIPs I need to work on, but all of that is on hold right now since I’m basically beta reading my dad’s book for him!

You'd think that, since I'm done with the one year of public high school, I'd want to ignore every scrap of schoolwork I can, right?

Apparently not!

I kid you not, I ended up looking for every bit of educational stuff I had and ended up just making myself a whole new school thing. So.

Any suggestions as to what I should add to this would be appreciated! So far I have World History (because I'm a sucker for it), health, space, and chemistry sciences, and Leadership!

Well, not so much fight them, in my case- act semi-calm and get a little bossy around them, maybe.

It's more of the darker stuff that spooks me honestly, some of the places I've been to you can feel a lot of the emotions and stuff left behind. Most of the time, it just feels nostalgic and a little sad.

But there's the few that are just like - nah. Nope. Never coming down here again, it'll take weeks to recover from the mental goop it's leaving me with.

I just realized that I know more ghost stories than I thought I did - I don't know if that's something to be proud of since that's a lot of stories that I can tell or worrysome because some of the stories are things that happened to me, or ones that are just sad.

Or, on top of that - places that gave me a very bad gut feeling.

Am I weird? Maybe. Just a little bit (A lot.)

All it apparently takes to get me down a rabbit hole is my sister mentioning what she knows about something.

In this case, a box with a picture of RMS Queen Mary - my sister mentioned she heard it was haunted because she saw that box. Now I'm stuck on a rabbit hole of finding all the stories of the ghosts on that ship/hotel.

Just got back from my first run of the summer, got five and a half miles in! Don't let the energy fool you, I'm actually in my bed as I type because 1) I'm tired, and 2) I ran in the rain and now I'm cold.
