Oh, she hadn't seen Masaru in a good moment. She always got a little worried when she didn't see her friends for awhile. Happily starting to greet him as her expression dropped to one of confusion when she was handed the gifts? Was...was this really for her? It felt like the heat was rising to her face from the nice gesture.

‘So many delicious sweets & loving couples on this day~ Dunno why Minako invited me to be guy watching on a day like this...’ Knowing her probably to find any single guys around and if that didn’t work well, Makoto was a plan B in hanging out. “I don’t have any vacation time planned, but I can always talk to my old man about it.” Sanji wouldn’t reduce himself to begging, but he wholeheartedly agreed that the two of them needed time to unwind and reconnect. Far too often, all he was capable of giving her were fleeting, good morning kisses before the two of them were forced to part for the day.

It was only a shame that it took them this long to finally spring the idea.

“When I do get that time off, what did you have in mind? Are we staying home, or are we heading out?” He wrapped both arms around her and rested his forehead against hers. “Either way, I just want you there with me.”

It felt like it was difficult to pin point a certain time that would work out for the both of them. Plus, she didn’t want to suggest anything when he was too tired even though that more stubborn side of him would attempt to do so either way. Summer was always pretty active with things to do in Japan among the various holidays and the like. There was a soft laugh as she leaned against.

“Ha..careful you might start soundin’ like one of my romance novels~ I never mind stayin’ at home with you, BUT there had been a festival going on til the weekend I wanted to check out at the temple. Feels like I haven’t worn a yukata in forever. Always feel pretty comfy when I get to.

That and maybe the beach as well. Think we can see the fireworks from there and maybe even the balcony here at home too at night.”

That constant nudging she had been receiving from him had eventually turned into more of a head butt at her side. Little bugger. Looked like someone was ready to play rough today. It might be her fault at times for playing hand games when she'd roll the pokemon over onthe ground from side to side at sides while getting sneak attacks by her hands. Thus resulting in a sneak attack of his own. All the while she had been trying to change the sheets on the bed and ended up falling over face planting into the mattress. Eventually she'd get herself up and went to toss a pillow at the electric rodent.

"Feelin' that active, huh? Guess that's a change from you eating all the time. Well, c'mon then if you're tryin' to pick a fight with me. Start getting serious and we'll have to take it outside to see what you got."

‘Say, when’s the next time you get to take off to have a vacation? I’d like to spend some time with you, since things been pretty hectic for the last weeks plus it’s Summer.’

It’s been awhile for sure that and anything to break that cycle of your usual duty to the public. You definitely had a deep, dedication to Sanji as well. Communication through a phone just wasn’t the same.

Ari was always such a sweet girl and Makoto always enjoyed spending time with her. But she wouldn’t explain too much on the why’s why she’s been away for awhile, especially when it may worry her. Thus, she took the time to make sure she baked something for her real nice.
