“a grotesque and enthralling final sequence in a semi-legal Mexico City bathhouse that channels the dark ghost of William S. Burroughs”
(this dark ghost seems to be following me)

This piece made me want to burn everything I’ve written since 2005.

I want to tell a student about Uncle Bill, but don’t know how
Adding machines lead to Harvard. He accidentally shot his wife in the head while playing William Tell. He shot a lot of heroin. He wasn’t Beat and Jack really didn’t understand. There is nothing worse than centipedes unless it is Control. I mean, there has to be a way to live one’s authentic life without requiring recourse to that adjective. His response to obscenity charges was to point at nuclear weapons and then write even more beautifully about buggery. Perhaps Tangier was sinister, but a man. Taught. His asshole. To. Talk.
etc.

Kudos to the guy making his way through the rain while looking at his phone — on in-line skates.

Reblogging because the original was marked as explicit by Tumblr. This is a photo of a table and a yellow bottle-opener. There is nothing sexually explicit about it.

Change that to: “Recently, someone told me Tumblr was dead. And they were predicting the future.”
At some point, I decided to stop reblogging things and only post my own photography. I was able to do this regularly for some time, but I ran out of material and only made more ocassionally. Recently, someone told me tumblr was dead. This made me sad. I like it here. And so I’ve decided not to be part of this other person’s perceived death. And even though I don’t have a lot of photos to post, I’m sure I can find something else, and maybe those things, whatever they are, will get the two likes everything else has gotten for the last year or so and maybe not. But hello.

I don’t understand the concept of sustainable straws; why not just stop using them altogether?
