Keiko hardly had any time to react before she was picked up several inches (possibly even feet) off the ground by the tall demon as he grinned and squeezed her.

Instead of screaming like any normal person would, Keiko simply laughed as she patted her hand against his large bicep.

“It’s good to see you again, too,” she said warmly. “You actually just missed Yusuke-kun. He left about a half hour ago on a work call.”

The ramen stand was bustling with the usual traffic. Despite his large stature and unusual style, Chu’s appearance didn’t even seem to phase the regulars that came and went.

‘ i missed ‘im ? aw damn... well-- we can always meet up again    later, yeah ? the human world isn’t that small. ‘ his train of    thought was immediately cut by the smell of salty broth, wafting   his way. ‘ and what-- pray tell-- is that heavenly aroma-- ‘

Still, he found the entire bit to be hilarious.
