Gonna respec Wyll instantly to Hexblade, because at the end of last playthrough I had him as an offbrand Hexblade anyway (Pact of the Blade, 9 Warlock/3 Paladin).
Although. That said. Hexblade doesn't get me Heavy Armor proficiency or healing, so... I might do it again. Although that's less pressing since I'm playing a cleric this time and not another warlock.
Ah shit now I have to figure out what subclass to pick for Astarion. I did really like Arcane Trickster for him because that specifically made him my utility guy when I had him pick up like, Feather Fall and Invisibility. And Misty Step is always good, of course. But that takes a while to get off the ground and I'm playing on Tactician difficulty, so I feel like I should pick something that'll give me more damage at the start (and maybe respec later?). Maybe I should try out Swashbuckler.
#all that said. nothing is better than running 2 warlocks. nothing.#6 eldritch blast beams per round. anyway we started blasting

I'm not doing this again this playthrough. I need her far sooner. Lae'zel best girl.
also I've made the terrible mistake of wanting to see what happens if you don't stumble across Lae'zel when she's in the cage, and that is a terrible mistake because I miss her and want her in my party but I went to the broken bridge where you meet the gith and immediately got my ass kicked and they are also out to murder her level 1 ass. last time I played this game we managed to bamboozle everyone into leaving without a fight. we're going to die so hard but i miss her. my bae. bae'zel.
it is a very interesting scene though! it's just that. I had to reload. because I died immediately.

More embarrassing Maiacah, who is (in-game) a Death Cleric of Kelmvor, Judge of the Dead, and canonically a Grave Cleric of Urogalan, halfling god of the grave. She might not remember much with that 8 Int of hers, but she's supposed to know her way around a crypt!

All of the cats have fucked-up eyes when you zoom in on them, which did cause me to let the glowing go unremarked-upon, but it is true that most of them don't glow, which frankly makes all of this even funnier.
Valencia: Me and who.
Everyone else: Is that a fucking ghost.
(Spite: Me and her! That makes it! Me and her!)

Photo mode in this game is so important to me. It means I can get a better look at these two cats having a canal-side date in Treviso.

It is in The Doc but it specifically is notated like this:

Which is not particularly helpful, I admit. I mostly figured that it would strike you like it struck me, for Vico reasons, and then you’d call it out and I wouldn’t have to try and figure out what the quest was called.

YES, I couldn’t remember what that quest is called but I think I know the one, I made a note of it, when you go off in search of the missing group of wardens and most of them are dead but the one you find who survived says something like that, yeah, the “we wanted to prove there was a reason we survived Weisshaupt.” I got that line and I was like “oh Vico’s gonna have a hell of a time here.”

I'M having an out-of-body experience. I had the polar opposite experience: I left the dude to his fate and he turned into a darkspawn and started killing people before I hunted him down.

Lucanis tells Bellara that Zara got the idea for the way she was making demons possess people “from a cult in Orlais that did that to Seekers.” That was Cass’ personal quest, yeah? I forget what the cult was called. But I do remember the kid we had to mercy-kill.

Also promising Lucanis that Zara won’t get away with anything she’s done, and having him reply “Don’t promise. But thank you.” is hurting me as I think about the fact that I am gonna end up letting him down pretty soon.

Oh, that’s fun. Thorne asks if there’s a reason that the gang is just making small talk with Illario at the cafe, and Lucanis has to point out that they’re being watched. Meanwhile, De Riva just brought it up - “have we talked about nothing enough for the spies to leave?”, like De Riva is used to this kinda shit.

Coming back to the Ossuary is fun because when I was first here with Valencia, I hadn't canonized her being unable to swim and afraid of water/drowning, so now I have a new appreciation for how she was going through The Horrors down here. If this weren't a job for the Crows, she truly would have bailed as soon as she saw that the enchantments were starting to fail and water was coming in. She would have said "no one is worth this" and headed right out.

Solas has never ever ever had a ritual go right, ever. You almost have to admire how failure never gets him to quit. Almost.
Fuck it, I'm gonna go find the other regrets and take a fucking brick to the head and be done with it.
