So I've read 'Carry No Burden', loved the fic. You have such a way with words ❤️ The way Katsuki calls Touya Badger is just so 😍 Ugh I could die. Oh my god, and the plushie! The plushieeeee 💕 I could go on but that was the cutest to me! They are sooooo adorable 🥰

Anyway I was just wondering what drew you to the pairing originally? It's such a rare pair and there is so little content of them together 😩 Oh and, if you have the time, what drew you to them individually?

I read this series (https://archiveofourown.org/series/1185473 ) its dabibaku but dabi is abusive and manipulative. I read it because I wanted Bakugou whump at the time, but the pairing really intruiged me. But at the time there wasn't much around that had them be a healthy couple so I started Carry No Burden. Of course now a lot of authors write them as such and I wa skinda bullied out of the dabibaku fandom, but Carry will always be special to me

Or: in the second year of his reign, Emperor Lan Wangji yields to the wishes of his ministers and holds a bride selection to find his future empress.

Summary: After Wei Wuxian falls to his death, Lan Wangji loses it. He slaughters anyone who dare gets in his way, he seeks blood to pay for the life of his beloved. Afterwards he flees to the Burial Mounds and finds A-Yuan, only to lose consciousness and ascend to the Heavenly Realm as the God of Vengeance. He tries to adjust to life in the Heavenly Realm, his only comfort is A-Yuan, who has thankfully been allowed to stay, and his new friend, Xie Lian, and he tries to learn how to be a god whilst grief still hangs heavy in his heart. Meanwhile, in the depths of Ghost City, Hua Cheng discovers a Ghost Flame who reminds him of his younger self. The little creature refuses to pass on to the next life without his zhiji, he has decided to wait until they can find each other again. He decides to help that little ghost, who tells him his name is Wei Wuxian. God Lan Wangji/Ghost Wei Wuxian ft Hualian and all of your other favourite characters from TGCF and MDZS

And so as the cultivators turn to Empathy, emotions and truths are revealed, while love and family blossoms in the wake of painful memories. One change at a time, one truth at a time, after forgetting what it was like to be themselves, the Yiling Laozu and Hanguang-jun learn how to face the world together despite the separation of death.

What sort of person in their right mind would dare to summon a spirit into their own body using resentful energy in the Cloud Recesses of all places? What kind of person would scoff so rudely at the Lan Clans most important rule, ‘Do not fraternize with evil?’ After being dead for four years, Wei Wuxian wakes up in a body he doesn't really feel comfortable with, in a place that he's sure wants him dead, and married to a man who surely hates him.
