Tarquin and I... we weren't right for each other. We were better off as friends. And I'm not saying that you and I had this magical romantic relationship ahead of us if things had went ahead the way they were possibly going, but I do know that I really liked you and I regret being too apprehensive to see where things went. I headed with the safer route, and I know now that it was wrong.

Alright. [pulls out the pack from her robes pocket and hands a cigarette to him before taking out her own and putting it between her lips, using her wand to tap it and mumble, almost incoherently, a spell to light it]

You wanna know something? Everyone's still talking about that big match of yours against Slytherin. It was the first thing I heard when I got back. Said that you and Karoonda played great, as per usual, and that you guys won, and that Regulus Black faked an injury to distract Bones. I heard other things, too, but that one seemed the most likely to me.
